Cathedral today

The main topic of the Diploma thesis is a complex design to rescue cathedral Notre-Dame in Paris. The work is firstly focused on the reconstruction of the structure including its collapsed parts and preserving a link to the destructive fire in 2019. The mainstay of the thesis is a design of new roof space and its use by broad public. Due to uncertainties about the structure stability disrupted by the fire a great emphasis has been put on the weight reduction of the newly built roof structure. The design makes a genuine attempt to be sensitive with respect to the spiritual function of the cathedral, thus the public roof access is separated from the cathedral itself thanks to a newly built underground spaces that are also included in the design.
Rescue of Persons during the Fires of Hight Buildings

Objective of this work is to process the research of fires in high-rise buildings in the Czech Republic in recent 10 years in terms of their effects, number of evacuated people and rescued persons by fire unites. It evaluates causes of injury and death during fires in high-rise buildings and reasons leading to the use of emergency sources by fire unites. It evaluates equipment in high-rise buildings from point of view of function of safety device against fire and equipment installed for intervention in high-rise buildings and it evaluates negative effects which affect the action of fire unites, especially in terms of evacuation and rescue. It analyses various ways to rescue people from point of view of possiblity using fire unites, the availability of life-saving equipment and the speed of rescue. It makes a design for involvement of forces and sources of other components of integrated rescue system to the process of human rescuing.
Evaluation of industrial heritage

The main subject is evaluation of effective use in terms of care (not only within protection of monuments) in order to save and protect industrial heritage. Pointing out on critical issues connected with the end of production of traditional branches which played the key role in historical development of our cities. Nowadays abandoned buildings and sites are represented by memory of the place or its prosperity. New owners often don't share the positive approach to the industrial heritage, developers are seeking new sites, cities and inhabitants have developed new needs through the time. The work will demonstrate examples within European context and will make recommendations in monitoring and classification of industrial heritage to prevent undo able losses.
Design of Amphibious Rescue Vehicle

The master thesis deals with the design of an amphibious rescue vehicle with a focus on rescue and evacuation of patients from inaccessible or flooded areas. The aim is to design a product that would fulfill the function of pre-hospital emergency care to the patient in the field and that would meet the conditions for integration between ambulance rescue vehicles. The representative amphibious vehicle for this work is a special articulated tracked vehicle known as a bandvagn. The thesis analyses in detail the intersection of the two markets of ambulance and amphibious in an attempt to find the aspects determining the development of the product. The design puts emphasis on the economic and financial balance of the proposed product, which it places on the product construction. The very design uses the integration of the off-road aspect of the vehicle with the ambulant one to bring a new perspective on the body shape of the modules.
Rescue and Assistance in Selected Elements of Artistic Gymnastics at High School

The bachelor thesis will focus on rescue and assistance in selected elements of artistic gymnastics during physical education classes at a chosen secondary school. The main objective of the thesis is to assess the current utilization of rescue and assistance in the selected elements of artistic gymnastics. The research methods used in the thesis were observation and questionnaire survey. Based on the evaluation of observations and data analysis from the questionnaires, it was found that the current level of rescue and assistance during gymnastics exercises in physical education classes is inadequate in some cases, and in some instances, i tis completely lacking, with only a small percentage if teachers possessing knowledge and skills to properly provide rescue and assistance. Rescue of people in open and frozen water for paramedics according to the methodoogy of the Water Rescue Service of Czech Red Cross.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to compare the preparation, procedures and equipment of the Water Rescue Service of the Czech Red Cross and units of the Fire Rescue Service when rescuing people in open and frozen water and to map the usability of the methodology for crews of the Medical Rescue Service in practical conditions. To this end, two research questions VO1 were set: "What is the preparation, procedures and equipment for rescuing people from open and frozen water according to the current methodology of the Water Rescue Service of the Czech Red Cross and units of the Fire Rescue Service?". and VO2: "What is the applicability of the methodology and processed procedures of the Water Rescue Service of the Czech Red Cross and units of the fire rescue service for paramedics?" The research part was implemented in the form of a qualitative research investigation using the semi-structured interview technique. The interviews were conducted on the basis of pre-prepared questions, in which representatives of the CČK Water Rescue Service and a unit of the Fire Rescue Service took part. The research group was made up of 5 respondents representing the ČČk Water Rescue Service and the Fire Rescue Service. The interviews took place after consent was given within the framework of the audio recording, ensuring anonymity and all information about this research work. They were then transcribed in writing. The results of the research investigation were formulated using the method of coding using the technique, "pencil and paper". The results of the objectives were mapped into 3 categories and subsequent subcategories. The output of this bachelor's thesis is a recommendation for paramedics covering the issue of drowning and rescuing an individual from ice and water, in a situation where there could be a delay in the time interval of the arrival of the components of the Integrated Rescue System of the Water Rescue Service and the Fire Rescue Service at the scene of intervention.
Creation of instructional DVD rescue and first aid in the aquatic environment for students of high pedagogical schools

The bachelor thesis called ?Creation of instructional DVD of rescue and first aid in water environment for university students? deals with crisis situations, which can easily occur in water environment. These crises threaten the life-threatened often and, without first aid, endanger the consequences. People get close to the aquatic environment at work, during transport, recreation, or regeneration throughout the year. The main goal is to create an educational DVD about the rescue from the aquatic environment through literature and practical experience. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the basic skills, which are then transferred to the audiovisual form in the practical part. The benefit and efficiency of the instructional DVD has been tested on respondents. The instructional video is intended for university students. However, it can also be used by teachers, wider and professional public.

Title: Knowledge of motor vehicle drivers of first aid procedures in traffic accidents Objectives: The diploma thesis aims to determine level of knowledge of motor vehicle drivers about first aid procedures in traffic accidents with the help of using own survey. Methods: Compilation, survey, analysis Results: The established hypothesis was confirmed. The knowledge of medically educated drivers about first aid procedures is sufficient, the knowledge of non-medical drivers is not. Success is not dependent on respondents' gender. Methods: An analysis of available sources and literature and a subsequent search of these obtained study sources were used for the elaboration of this work. Results: The result of this work is a document that provides an overview of frequent injuries caused by traffic accidents and a description of the procedure of lay first aid.
