The use of children's musical in the process of teaching music

This diploma thesis introduces children's musical as a didactic tool at primary schools. This work maps the influence of creative playwright on the development of musical abilities, skills and creativities. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis defines the term "musical". It briefly describes the origin of the musical as a genre. The practical part brings possibilities of using a musical as a means of an educational process. It provides particular demonstrative situations which lead to development of the crucial competences of the students. The author of the musical is the author of this diploma thesis. She herself translates the music recording, scenario, and methodical material. The method, that has been used for the field research, is a systemic observation which is divided into ten lessons in the form of a project-based learning. This thesis deals with an issue, whether the musical enables an active engagement of the pupils in the musical educational process. The hypotheses, which have been set, are verified by the means of collective reflection from which follows students' higher motivation for musical activity. The realization of the musical positively develops students' attitudes towards music and enables them to react to current trends in the field of musical education. KEYWORDS...

Fears and monsters in preschool and young school age children

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the importance of ghosts in the imagination of children. The theoretical part deals with the influence of monsters on the European culture, defines the concept of fear and states the fundamental differences in their content in preschool and early school age. It also defines the concepts of gender and sex, and presents differences in the perception of fear among boys and girls. The empirical part is divided into two parts. In the first part of children and their relatives via a 5-point scale determined intensity of children's fear of monsters and other fears. The second part provides the empirical information on children's perceptions of ghosts obtained through interviews with children.
Power of the stickers - Ethnography research at the first class

in English The bachelor's thesis is focused on the phenomenon of stickers for children at the first class of the primary school. Its aim is the description and the explanation of the sense of their collection, grouping and exchange. The thesis is conceptualized like an ethnographical study at the school background. It is based on the methods of qualitative research. Data was collected using participant observation, interviews with focus group, analysis of documents and diary of research worker. Then it was qualitatively analysed and interpreted in relation to the relevant literature. The text of work is divided in two parts - the theory and the research. The theoretical part is coming out from sphere of psychology and also social and cultural anthopology, sociology, philosphy nad cultural history. The practical part presents results of the research. The aim of study is to enable better insight into the problematics of stickers, especially their influence on relations between children and self-concept of pupil at the first class. It describes and analyses in detail of principles of classifications and exchanging. The thesis shows what is the power of stickers to create individual and his surroundings.
Level of coordination abilities of young school age artistic gymnasts

This master thesis focuses on the influence that artistic gymnastics has on the coordination abilities of young school age girls. The purpose of this thesis was to use motor tests in the field to compare the level of coordination abilities of young school age artistic gymnasts with that of non-sporting girls. The tests results were subsequently statistically evaluated and commented upon. Another aim of the thesis was to compare the coordination abilities of artistic gymnasts aged 6 - 8 years with those of artistic gymnasts aged 9 - 11 years whilst they were undertaking particular tests. From the tests results it can be seen that artistic gymnastics has a positive effect on the level of the childrens coordination abilities. This finding is supported by the fact that in all tests the artistic gymnasts succeeded better than the non-sporting girls. Of the two groups the older girls (9 - 11 years) were more succesful than the younger group (6 - 8 years). The theoretical part of the thesis describes the Child's Motor Development, emphasizing the relationship between coordination abilities and young school age. It discusses the environment of the branch of sport called "women's artistic gymnastics" and the need for the children's sports training.
Physical fitness and Movement activity of children in Otrokovice

TITLE Physical fitness and Movement activity of children in Otrokovice AIM: The main aim of this Dissertation thesis is to ascertain the physical fitness level of children in Primary school in Otrokovice. The next task is to find out if athletic children attending some of the sport clubs which are offered by Otrokovice town. Further we inquire in which of the three schools are children the most physically able bodied and also we look into if the physical above-average children do the sport more often than the children physical below-average. So far we are interested whether the performances of above-average children have a lower amount subcutaneous fat than the performances of below-average children. METHOD: The data for this Dissertation thesis is generated through empirical quantitative research.This research was carried out under standardised conditions minimizing the outside influence (gymnasium). The Focus groups for this research are school-boys and school-girls from primary schools in Otrokovice. RESULTS: From the measuring results of the chosen sample shows, that more than half of the tested groups achieved below-average values in the motor tests. Musical Fairytale and its use in Music Education

This diploma thesis deals with phenomenon of musical fairytale and its aplication in Music education process. The thesis is describing a fairytale as a whole genre and shortly outlines a few perspectives from other fields on this genre. The theoretical part describes the concept of a musical fairytale, shortly describes fairytale as a lyrical and musical genre, introduces the history of fairytale and shortly describes archetypes of heroes and their impact on development of child personality. Practical parts of this thesis is focusing on working with authors fairytale, which was realized within project teaching in music classes. The goal of the thesis is to create and then rehearse author's musical fairytale, and in this way analyze its use in musical educational process. As a research sample a 3rd grade was chosen. It is therefore a group of pupils, of younger school age. The research was conducted at ZŠ and ZUŠ Jabloňová Liberec. Each school allows to work with pupils in classes with extended education of Music and regular music classes. This comparison is important source of knowledge. School Maturity and Beginning of School Attendance

This diploma thesis deals with an admission procedure to the first form of primary education, school readiness, beginning of the school attendance and a formation of initial literacy in the first form of primary school. The theoretical part focuses on the ontogeny of a child in the pre-school and young school age, school readiness, the beginning of school attendance and the initial reading and writing skills. The research focuses on the preparation of children in kindergartens for school. It also describes three processes of admission procedure to the first form of primary school at three different schools. The author also analyses results of these admission procedures in 2018. She also analyses the human body drawings in connection with the school readiness. Last but not least she analyses the formation of hygiene habits of pupils in the first forms. The findings of this research are compared with the information in the theoretical part. There are also many appendices that document the research. At the end of the thesis there is the interpretation of the research and a description of contemporary school readiness issues.
