Motivation for scout education and and its impact on the lives of adult leaders

This thesis focuses on scout education and its benefits for adult scout leaders. In the theoretical part, the theoretical basis is first mentioned, focusing on the concept of lifelong learning, the inclusion of scout education in this concept and the motivation for adult education. Next, the characteristics and the history of world and czech scouting are described, followed by the principles of scouting, age categories and the scout educational method, which introduce the way of educational work in czech scout. Subsequently, the theoretical part mentions the Junák - český skaut organization, the education that is implemented within this organization and is essential for the research part of this thesis. The main aim of the research part is to identify the impact of educational courses on the life of a scout leader and to describe how educational courses are handled in different scout teams. This aim is achieved through qualitative research, in which semi-structured interviews are conducted to explore the impact of scout courses on the scout, personal and professional life of the adult leader, the motivation to také scout educational courses and the third area of interest is how educational courses are handled within the scout team and centre. Soukupová, A., Consumer behavior on the market with educational courses. Diploma Thesis. Brno: Mendel university, 2018. The diploma thesis deals with behavior of the 15 – 40 years old consumers on the market with educational courses in the Czech Republic. Reasons for participating or not participating courses of nonformal educational courses are included in this thesis, as well as factors influencing consumer while purchasing the course and the preferred form of teaching. It is analyzed if consumers prefer personal training, video courses or other forms. Primary data were obtained through survey and in-depth interviews. Data from quantitative research were used in cluster analysis. In the end, factors influencing the consumer shopping behavior are determined, as well as the characteristics of market with educational courses segments and recommendations for educational institutions.
Use of the Project Implementation Profile tool in managing training projects

This diploma thesis deals with use of the Project Implementation Profile (PIP) tool in managing training projects in the non-profit sector. Appropriate methodology for implementation of the PIP tool is described. The Project Implementation Profile tool is implemented in order to enhance quality of management of chosen training project. This training project is realized by non-profit children organization called Chameleon Brno. Furthemore, proper measures evaluating ten critical success factors are set. They are tracked and analyzed for a purpose of determination their impact on performance of training project. Two similar training projects are compared in order to find out improvements provided by use of the PIP tool. Finally, the proposed measures are discussed in relation to their suitability also for other training projects operated by organization Chameleon Brno. It results in desicion that they can be applied also to these training project in order to enhance quality of their management.

Dissertation evaluated present offers of free-time artistic activities for children and youth in Czech Republic. We will focus on pros and cons of these artistic workshops and individual elements of events like this. Main subjects of dissertation are project Kurzy NAPLNO and methods of leading workshops for actors. Kurzy NAPLNO origin in 2015 was based on bad experience with another artistic course. Project Kurzy NAPLNO are educative artistic workshops. Their objective is to share knowledge and experiences within drama, alternative or musical acting, film production, moderation and journalism. Kurzy NAPLNO celebrated 3rd year of its own existence during formation of this dissertation.
Motivation for lifelong education and human resources management

At this time of continuous development is important for organizations to remain flexible. And what is the most important subject in the organization? People. That´s why is constant education of employees so indispensable. The aim of this work was investigating the level of motivation for lifelong education and human resource management in chosen organization. Chosen organization was Komerční Banka. For this research was created a quiestionnaire. After adding the responses, evaluation was performed. The results were transferred into tables and charts. Results came out realy good for the organization. Most of respondents have a positive attitude to self-education. The main reason for respondents to educate is self-satisfaction. The organization arrange a lot of trainings for employees. The problem is that many employees visit these training courses over and over again. Almost half of respondents visited a course where they learned nothing. Human resource department should take care of what kind of employees to send to what kind of course. Another problem is that leaders are not sufficiently interested what the employees learned on the course. They should show more interest. All in all the organization has capable employees who want to educate themselves. This is very important to survive in a competitive society.

V této diplomové práci se autorka snažila propojit své teoretické znalosti s praktickou částí. Celá práce se zabývá problematikou vzdělávání zaměstnanců ve zvolené firmě. Práce je sestavena podle logické návaznosti. Úvodní část je věnována teoretickým informacím, které souvisejí s oblastí vzdělávání. Na teoretickou část navazuje část praktická, která se skládá ze základních informací o firmě Rodenstock ČR s.r.o. a dále se zabývá problematikou vzdělávání v praxi.
