PIARKL
Tomková, Sára ; Matoušková, Petra (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to find a use for the Piarist monastery in Lipník nad Bečvou, which is currently abandoned and does not fulfill any function. Based on the analysis, we decided to design a building for the Faculty of Pharmacy that would combine space for education and science. At the same time, we try to preserve the original character of the building, while all incorporated elements should underline its historical beauty and functional potential. We open up the original space with several cramped rooms and we design laboratories, classrooms, auditoriums or garden greenhouses and fields in the exterior, which are used for educational and research activities of the faculty. Besides that, it includes spaces for ordinary people of Lipník nad Bečvou, such as a teahouse, library, pharmacy or exhibition spaces so they have the opportunity to use the local services in a pleasant environment and learn information about the field of pharmacy or the cultivation of medicinal plants. The arrival of young, educated people to the city is also a significant benefit of the monastery's reconstruction. Two open atriums that are surrounded by the building are parts of the monastery. Thanks to them, a lot of daylight enters the building. They connect the outdoor space in front of the monastery with the garden at the back. The new proposed entrance is therefore made up of glass so you can see the atrium and the garden when you enter the building. The important point in the central part of the monastery is a large, open and airy space with a staircase that connects the various parts of the building. It provides a meeting place for students, teachers and other members of the university who can spend time together, exchange knowledge, and learn.

Chovancová, Michaela ; Vranka, Marek (advisor) ; Báča, Ladislav (referee)
This bachelor thesis, titled Influence of Omission Neglect Phenomenon on Perception of Product and Brand, deals with the modern and quite unfamiliar issue of omission neglect phenomenon in the Czech Republic. Omission neglect (ON) refers to lack of sensitivity to missing or unmentioned information. The main focus of the thesis is to summarize the existing complex knowledge about the phenomenon and to confirm whether the effect of ON is present in consumer behaviour of Czech customers. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, I investigate the topic of consumer behaviour and decision-making in relation to the ON phenomenon. Next, I deal with the topic of heuristics and cognitive biases the ON is part of. Then, I offer a definition of the term, describe its historical background, the influence it has on the decision-making process, and factors which have the tendency to decrease the impact of omission neglect. In the last part of the theoretical section, I summarize the most important studies on the ON effect. In the practical part, I replicate a study from 2014 which deals with different intensity of the ON effect on respondents with high and low contextual cognitive level in a specific product category. The purpose of my study was to confirm the influence of...

This thesis is focused on the transformation of hospitals into joint stock companies from 2010 to the end of 2011. It is primarily aimed at actors, their actions, positions, attitudes and interests in this process. Furthermore, it is concerned with the question of the public vs. private interests in terms of health protection, ensuring the availability and quality of healthcare. The transformation process of hospitals and the position of actors is explained by the combination of economic and public policy theory - neoliberalism, economic globalization, New Public Management and Advocacy Coalition Framework. We explain actions, attitudes and interests of actors in the transformation process of hospitals by using research methods such as an analysis of selected events in health care and research of actors' actions. These research methods are based on different methods of data collecting such as semi-structured and informal interviews, a questionnaire survey and the study of secondary sources. The main aim of this thesis is an analysis of the transformation process of hospitals into joint stock companies in context of selected events in health policy, with a focus on research of actors' actions, attitudes and interests in this process.
