Business Plan – Establishment of Parking for Campers and Caravans

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to make a business plan for the establishment of a stellplatz on land that is owned by my father. In the analytical part, I will evaluate the current state and the overall starting position for the practical part. I dedicate the practical part to a specific business plan, its financing, the necessities without which the plan would not have taken place and, last but not least, its evaluation, whether the business plan is feasible at all.

The first part is a Czech translation of a selected part of an essay written by Pierre Bayard entitled Comment parler des lieux où l'on n'a pas été ? This essay, published in 2012, is a sequel to the author's previous book (published in 2007) Comment parler des livres que l'on n'a pas lus ? which was written in a similar format. The second part is a commentary consisting of an analysis of the original text, a description of the translation methods and the most significant problems of translation that have occurred during the translation process. Models in the Era of Socialism

This diploma thesis deals with profession of mannequin in Czechoslovak. Focus is on the 1960s and 1970s of the 20th century. The diploma thesis focuses on questions, how the woman in Czechoslovakia could become a mannequin, how mannequins were perceived by ordinary people, what position in the world of work they had and what benefits mannequins had from their professions (e.g. benefits in the opportunity of travel, the opportunity to participate in an international exhibitions, filming etc.). The diploma thesis also focuses on the image of mannequins in contemporary media, especially in a feature film. In the diploma thesis there is not neglected contemporary fashion as well with focusing for example on artificial fabric or fashion that was seen in common shops and on the streets. The supporting structure of the thesis consists of interviews with mannequins of the socialist era, but one of the narrators is also a fashion designer Zdeňka Bauerová.
The Effect of Socio-Demographic Factors on Consumer Trends in the Czech Republic

The thesis examines the potential effects of various socio-demographic determinants on consumer trends in the Czech market over the years 2009- 2019. We use data from the agency Median, s.r.o., which has been researching consumer behavior since 1993. This work analyzes dependent categorical variables that define potential consumer trends and represent answers of respondents or households. We utilized an ordinal logistic regression for the analysis, which we subsequently tested by Brant's test. Statistically significant results from the models are similar to the results in previous studies. Specifically, during the years 2009-2019, the interest in recycling increases, people tend to buy organic food more often, and spending on Czech products decreases slightly (especially in 2018 and 2019), and people tend to spend more money on vacation. For example, the bachelor thesis shows that women have a greater tendency to buy organic products and Czech food than men and, at the same time, recycle more often than men. Furthermore, new variables are examined in regards to observed trends. Such variables are the number of persons employed in the household and the ABCDE classification. ANOTATION: This bachelor thesis compares Russian and Czech vocabulary in the field of traveling. The theoretical part deals with the lexicology as a science of language, the process of formation, especially the forces of borrowing from other languages. The practical part brings comparing of concrete vocabulary of traveling and the tourism in Russian and Czech. Every example shows its origin, meaning and an example of using. Successive palimpsest - Hyperloop Integration of current transportation systems into the city structure

The thesis deals with a vision of future of travel - the transport system hyperloop and aims to support the development of emerging technology. The aim is to further define the current traffic trends and determine the hyperloop system, to find its suitable language and overall integration into the Brno transport system. The Hyperloop station is located within the Brno Triangle, which consists of three interconnected stations - Dolní, Heršpice and Hlavní.
Itirenary Planning Application

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design and implementation of an application for planning itineraries. The application aims to simplify the planning of the entire travel and provide a tool for the user to create multiple travel versions. These versions can also be compared with each other in both financial and time aspects. The application provides a clear and attractive user's interface along with features which make the entire process of planning easier. Such features, for example, include autocompleting of location names from the Google Map database or automatic currency conversion according to the current Czech national bank rate.
Emotional Cartography

The work aims to artistically compile perception of maps as a fact, what let us think about The world - how we know it from the map. I work with data, which I gain by displaying technology – eye tracking, which helps me to record track of moving eyes during watching any kind of picture. The observations will be people from different places such a place of stay etc. Gained data I am going to use as a study, which I will componate to maps and different vizualizations of world, countries etc. "Where i have not ever been before, it does not exist" – is idea of percepting world, wich I also work with on that project. Study will contain all aspect of perceiving maps and systematicly shown world related to the person, his memories to that place, fyzical contact and his impact in his scale person versus a the world.
