My master’s thesis deals with an issue of Human resources management and its development. It contains some suggestion concerning motivation of employees with new tools which the company has not used yet. The thesis also deals with the system of employees’ appraisal.
The Evaluation Process of Employees in the Organizational Body of Funded Organizations

The thesis consists of a case study and focuses on the processes of assessment, training and remuneration of employees in the organizational component of a budgetary organization. The introductory part focuses on the opinion of experts on human resources management with emphasis on the areas studied. Special emphasis is placed on the evaluation process, its methods, evaluation criteria, classification, evaluator's personality and the course of evaluator's meeting with the person who is being assessed. We also focused on training and remuneration - processes following the evaluation. Concerning educational issues, we were interested in the opinions of professionals focusing on identifying the needs of training, its planning and results evaluation. Remuneration was viewed as one of the most effective tools to motivate employees in connection with the transfer of assessment to the remuneration. The application part of the thesis introduces in-depth analysis of the current levels of the evaluation process and the processes connected with it - training and remuneration of employees in the selected organization. The final thesis deals with human resources, which is one of the basic management functions. Knowledge of the basic managerial functions is an important prerequisite for high-quality managerial skills of a kindergarten principal. It is important to point out that the kindergarten management is currently much more responsible for running of the kindergarten than in the past. The thesis involves an analysis of the current status of the selected HR activities - recruitment, adaptation of employees and thier assessment, training and development. It aims to describe the personal risks for a kindergarten principal and it proposes changes for improvement. The main method selected for achieving the set objectives is to survey kindergarten managers. Additional technique is an interview. The first part of this thesis focuses on theoretical knowledge in the field of HR at two different levels - basic ine and one that focuses on education. The second, practical part, analyses the process of selected HR activities,describes possible HR risks and summarizes research problem, including proposed changes for improvement.
The preparedness of selected company and his employees in Tabor District for the release of chemical substance from the operation

The bachelor thesis describes the issue of preparedness of selected company and its employees for leakage of chemicals from operation. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of the selected enterprise, the actual chemical accident that occurred in the selected enterprise, legislation related to the topic of work, the behavior of residents in the event of a dangerous chemical leakage, staff training and terms such as chemical accident, emergency planning, fire evacuation plan are explained here. The aim of the work was to evaluate the readiness of the selected company and its employees in the Tábor district for leakage of chemicals from operation. Employee preparedness was evaluated by means of a questionnaire survey, the preparedness of the company by comparing the applicable legislation with internal documents. The research question was formulated as: "What is the real preparedness of the company for leakage of chemicals from operation?" During the research it was found out that the selected company had prepared internal documents in accordance with the valid legislation and by means of a questionnaire survey it was found that its employees are well prepared for leakage of chemicals. So the real preparedness of the company is good. The methodology of the work describes how research was conducted among randomly selected respondents. Despite good preparedness, it was found that all respondents would not behave correctly when a dangerous chemical leaked out of operation, and not all employees were trained in regular fire protection intervals. The results of this work will be provided to the selected company for the purpose of assessing preparedness for leakage of chemicals from operation.

Competency model as a a tool for systematic training in the student organization

The aim of this thesis is to create a competency model for the jobs of new members of a student organization. The competency model is used to assemble a list of the types of educational activities that should be undertaken by the member in a half year frame after they start working on the new position in the organization. This goal is reflected by the structure of this thesis. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. In the first one, the reader is acquainted with the concepts of competence, employee education, competency model, and management through competencies. The knowledge of these terms and their meaning is crucial for the understanding of the domain of education management. The contents of the second chapter deal with the various methods of development and educational activities, the systematical education and its phases, and the creation of competency model in an organization. The knowledge that is presented in the theoretical part comes originally from the corporate environment. But there it was created to address the same problems that are also faced by educational organizations, and also by organizations in which the education of its members is one of their secondary goals. Lifelong education, employee selection and corporate culture of the chosen company

The main objective of this diploma thesis is to characterize forms of education in selected enterprise, analyse it in relation to the corporate culture and suggest changes leading to a desirable future state of the knowledge-based economy. In connection with the theme and the main objective of this thesis is the research also focused on the corporate culture, the recruitment and the selection of employees. The theoretical part consists of theoretical knowledge, which relate to the issue of development of employees through lifelong learning, selection of employees, corporate culture and knowledge economy. The practical part contains information about selected company. This part also analyses the corporate culture, the selection and training of employees, through the use of quantitative and qualitative methods. The obtained results are the basis for proposing effective changes. At the end of the diploma thesis are proposed some changes which should improve the current situation, especially the area of employee training to reach a knowledge-based economy in the future.
