Risk behavior of high school students.

The bachelor thesis is focused on risk behaviour of secondary school students. The origins and consequences of this behaviour may vary and we may come across it more and more often. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is focused on literature dealing with this issue and also studying current researches. The practical part is my own research. The aim of this part was to establish whether the type of school, grammar school or vocational school, would affect the measure and variation of risk behaviour of secondary school students. Data collection in a form of a questionnaire was used in both types of the schools. As a result of the research, it became clear that there is no significant difference in risk behaviour at either of the schools.
Attitudes to Society and School of Students in Secondary Vocational Schools

The thesis focuses on the issue of civic attitudes adopted by students of vocational schools. The author presents an overview of previous Czech research which shows that students of vocational schools are placed at the bottom of international surveys inquiring civic and political knowledge. Moreover, the results reveal that the students of vocational schools express their support for democracy as a way of government the least. The goal of the thesis is to describe civic and political opinions of concrete students and show who influences them and how. It is designed as a multiple case study. Six students of vocational schools from Prague, a smaller town and a village in Central Bohemian Region were chosen to participate in the study. The core of the work is the description of the individual cases in a detailed context including their family, community, school and friends. The findings indicate that the studied students are usually not interested in politics. Their political beliefs are heavily formed by their family and peers. School as an institution does not have any influence, not even through civic education which is compulsory during the first years of high school education. Secondary education of mentally handicapped pupils in practical schools

The diploma thesis contains in the theoretical part a discussion about the importance of education of pupils with moderate mental disabilities, defines persons with mental disabilities, presents their characteristic peculiarities in relation to their education at the level of secondary education. It describes the Framework Educational Programs for practical schools with one- year and two-year training. The exploratory part focuses on monitoring secondary education of pupils in practical schools in the Central Bohemian Region. The main aim of the survey was to find out the possibilities of employment of graduates of practical schools after graduation.
Role of teaching assistants in the education of convicts with disabilities

The purpose of this diploma work is to evaluate the work of teaching assistants in supporting the study of convicts with disabilities in the Vocational School in Vinařice Prison. The partial aim of this diploma work is to determine whether the teaching assistants are providing enough support to pupils with disabilities in the level of support that will lead to better learning results and also would enable students to succeed at the open labor market. Diploma work will be divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. The practical part will be elaborated by quantitative and qualitative research methods. Quantitative research will be conducted through a questionnaire, which will be focused on support which is provided by teaching assistants while working with students with disabilities and then on the perception on teaching assistants support that is provided to students with disabilities. Qualitative research will include case studies of pupils - convicts with disabilities in the Vocational School Vinařice. Support options for vocational education

The bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of how to support vocational education, expecially its technical branches.The aim is to find out what kind of support is provided to students at secondary vocational schools and apprentice schools by businesses, organizations and other support programs so that the graduates could find employment after graduation in their field. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and pracitcal (i.e. research) parts. The theoretical part describes the individual strategic documents that deal with the support of the vocational education, which nowadays suffers from the lack of students. The practical part determines a set of research questions and includes the research that was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey between teachers of vocational schools and interviews with vocational school students. The results were subsequently evaluated and conclusions were drawn to identify which possibilities of support are used and how they are accepted by the students alone.

Author also illustrates the crucial influence of family background on the example of educational achievements of one student in 8 past years. Furthermore, the teoretical part summarizes the various influences that participates in the access of students to the school subject of chemistry, recommended approaches and didactic methods.
