The result of the project is a short video documentation of reciprocal lesson given by the twerking instructress and the teacher of the rhetoric. We can easily observe how the smart nonverbal choreography of speech is joining the erotically explicit dance. Women bodies are shot by camera during the training. They exercise proper breathing techniques first, then nonverbal expression and finally they try to articulate diverse notions on twerking. After the rhetoric lesson is given, they change the positions of teacher and the person being taught. It's time to learn how to twerk. In the final sequence we can see both women performing short twerk choreography on hip-hop music track made originally for the project.

Targeting of MOBA video games on female players and their perception of the targeting

The diploma thesis Perceptions of MOBA video game targeting of women and gender aspects manifested in gaming behaviour focuses on the behavior of women in the gaming environment and three popular MOBA games - League of Legends, DotA 2 and Heroes of the Storm in the theoretical part. In this section, gender, gender stereotype is also defined and the sexualisation of female avatars is approached. In the practical part, the collected data is analyzed using thematic analysis and open coding. The aim of the research is to approach the influence of female gender on the gameplay behaviour of women in MOBA video games and to analyse the way MOBA games target women. The results show the significant importance of socialization for female gamers' gaming behavior, the negative influence of toxic environments within the community, the lack of targeting of women in MOBA games, and the influence of avatar design and abilities on their selection. The main contribution of this thesis lies in the investigation of women's gaming behaviour in the context of MOBA games and the implementation of the research in a Czech gaming environment. Sexist portrayal of women in marketing communication: differences in the perception of sexist advertising between women and men of generation Z

This bachelor thesis examines the sexist portrayal of women in marketing communication, focusing on whether sexism in advertising is perceived differently by women and men of Generation Z. Despite the significant influence of advertising on social attitudes towards gender, there is a lack of academic texts on how people perceive and respond to sexist advertising. This thesis consists of three parts - theoretical, methodological and research, which provide an overview of the theory of sexism, the different forms of sexist portrayals of women in advertising, means of fighting against sexism and its regulation, research methodology and analysis of research findings. The research was conducted through semi-structured interviews with Generation Z respondents to obtain qualitative data on their views on sexism in advertising. The discussion of the research findings provides insight into the attitudes and perceptions of Generation Z towards sexist portrayals of women in advertising and offers important implications for the advertising industry and society as a whole. The gathered data shows that both genders view sexist portrayal of women in advertising in a similar way, which is negative. A continent, which is not only the deadliest region for journalists worldwide but also overly sexist due to patriarchal structures deeply rooted within Latin American cultures called "machismo". Based on a feminist theoretical framework and a phenomenological approach, female journalists' experiences and coping mechanisms with gendered discrimination were examined by conducting semi-structured interviews with ten Latin American journalists. The study shows, that female journalists in Latin America are sexualized, valued for their looks instead of their journalistic skills and often denied to cover certain beats and topics. This censors and silences female journalists as they are changing the way they practice journalism by not taking on risky tasks, moving to another country or stop exercising journalism altogether. 7 ABSTRACT This thesis focuses on a textual analysis of articles in the field of sexology, which were published in the Czech Republic after 1989. It will examine through both quantitative and qualitative methods, how authors of sexological articles defined the term homosexuality and worked with it, as well as explore their varying approaches to the topic depending on context. The thesis will ask whether the sexological discourse about homosexuality has changed after the fall of the communist regime, and if it has, in what ways. Differences in the perception of female characters in various media versions of The Witcher

The subject of this diploma thesis is the perception of female characters in various media adaptations of The Witcher from the perspective of audiences that show signs of fan affiliation. The research focuses on the two most recent adaptations, i.e. the third game The Witcher: Wild Hunt and the serie The Witcher on the Netflix platform. The research took the form of in-depth interviews with a total of nine participants and focused on the role, characteristics, relationships and motivations of female characters in order to find out how respondents perceive these areas in adaptations. The first part of the diploma thesis deals with the theoretical basis related to popular culture, audiences, game and film studies and gender in media. It also presents the world of The Witcher, the selected characters and the critique of adaptations. The next section of the thesis deals with the research methodology. The grounded theory was used as a method of work and multiple levels of coding and categorization were conducted. These categories are then presented in the empirical part of the thesis together with a demonstration of the respondents' statements followed by data interpretation and discussion. People as objects of entertainment industry - Objectificationof human body in enteratining media contents

Diploma thesis People as objects of showbusiness examines the problematics of objectifying of human bodies in the world of showbusiness. The main purpose is to warn about the existence of objectification and related sexualization of human body, which is often presented in media such as print, advertisements, on the internet or on television. The author chose to analyse this phenomenon on case of television show Your Face Sounds Familiar (translated as Tvoje Tvář Má Známý Hlas) based on her own experiences which she gained in past while participating on the creation of this project. Next to a content analysis, which is supposed to reveal specific signs of objectification on television screens, the author also carried out a participant observation during the preparations of the broadcast. The purpose of the observation was to reveal to public how such television formats emergence and to determine if the phenomenon of objectification is also present in the show's background. To finalise the practical research, she adds in-depth interviews with some of the artists who participated in the making of chosen television broadcast. These interviews reflect their way of thinking about objectification of their own bodies and show their perspective on this phenomenon in wider frame.
