Prevention of risk behaviour at secondary schools

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of prevention of risky behaviour in secondary schools. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practícal. The theoretical part focuses on basic concepts of risky behaviour and prevention. It deals with the advisory systém in education and legislation and documents related to preventiv in secondary schools. In the practical part, the aim was to map the view of secondary school students on school prevention, which they experienced during their schooling, identify weak and strong places, and how prevention of risky behaviour among high school students is implemented. For my research, I chose quantitative research methods in the form of an anonymous questionnaire.
Leisure time activities of younger school age children of selected elementary school

The topic of this diploma thesis is spending leisure time of younger school-aged children. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with children's leisure time and pedagogical influence on their leisure time, hobby educational facilities, socialization, leisure games and school after class. Also with prevention od risky behaviour in leisure time. The recent closure of schools due to the covid-19 pandemic is also mentioned. The main goal od the thesis is to find out how children of younger school-age of the selected primary school spend their leisure time. Another goals are to find out which hobby groups do children attend and if they attend a school after class. Also, how children dealt with the closure of schools. The research tool is a structured questionnaire. The practical part of thesis describes and evaluates the research on spending leisure time of younger school-aged children of selected primary school in Prague. A description of the school, respondents and course of the resarch is also included there. Then the answers to the individual questions of the questionnaire are evalutaded. Harm reduction measures in the Czech prison: availability and distribution of condoms from the perspective of prisoners

Background: The diploma thesis deals with the topic of prisons as a risky environment in relation to the transmission of infectious diseases. The condom distribution in prison settings is one of possible harm reduction interventions in terms of preventing the transmission of infectious diseases among prison population and in general society. Aims: The aim of the work is to map the availability and distribution of condoms and its perception from the prisoners' point of view in Prague-Pankrác Prison, where the distribution took place. The work also deals with the risky behaviour of convicts, through which infectious diseases are transmitted. File: The group of respondents consists of prisoners who served their sentences in two randomly selected wards where condoms were distributed. The data were collected in two waves, in which a total of 160 and 190 prisoners participated. The composition of the sample changed during the research due to the natural fluctuation of people who were accused and convicted in prisons and, in addition, due to a change in the law on the execution of sentences of imprisonment. Preventive program at selected primary school, analysis and specific utilization

This diploma thesis deals with a preventive program at a selected primary school. The theoretical part consists of a description of the creation of a school prevention program and concepts related to prevention in schools in the context of the legislative framework to which primary prevention in school facilities falls. Emphasis is placed primarily on the definition of the concept of risky behavior and its definition in the context of school primary prevention, whose horizontal and vertical level of management is also specifically described in this work. The practical part is focused on the analysis of the selected preventive program of a particular school. Special attention is paid to its historical development, the process of creation and the causes of changes that have taken place in the creation of PPŠ during the last 5 years. Part of the analysis of the selected PPŠ is also the analysis of specific primary prevention programs Nekuřátka and Digital well-being, which were implemented in the school year 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 in the 4th and 5th classes of the selected elementary school. Risky Behaviour of Injecting Drug Users in Prison Settings

Risky behaviour in prison is very frequently international theme in last twenty years. Epidemic situation in some foreign prisons, which involved IDU too, asked for details studies and introduction certain measure. There are missing quality researches and good knowledge about this area in czech setting. The goal of my bachelor work is to probe into this problem. I want to find out the information about incarcerated persons, especially if they show some types of risky behaviours and if duration of the punishment and using patterns before incarceration influence these behaviours. I use a method of a quantitative research, the questionnaires. My research was realized in 2010 between active drug users released from prison. There are 22 respondents in my research so it is not possible to generalize acquired data. I recommend next continuing in this study, especially linking-up with more institutions and raise funds for extensive study.
Use of D.I.E. Methods as the Prevention of Risky Behaviour in the Classroom

My diploma thesis is about prevention of the most risky behaviour on primary school which is bullying. Prevention is presented through the methods and strategie sof drama education. In the theoretical section acquaints readers with important informations of bullying and substance of drama in education, which are the basis for a comprehensive understanding of this issue. The theoretical part is also the basis for creating bullying prevention project using the methods and strategies of drama education, presented and reflected in the practical part. The practical part is also the result of a questionnaire, which is focused on opinion surveys of teachers of primary schools to prevent bullying and the use of methods and techniques of drama in this issue. Abstract: The thesis is focused on the risky behavior, its inclusion in primary prevention programs of primary schools and the implementation of these programs. The topic is extensive and therefore reduced to primary prevention in the area of addictive behavior. The approaches and preventive plans of several schools are compared. This applies mainly to higher grades of elementary schools. The aim of this thesis is to find out how individual schools implement the program, especially in the context of addictive behavior as one of the forms of risky behavior. Primary prevention of eating disorders at schools and comparison of its' efficiency from the point of view of students and prevention methodologists

This thesis deals with eating disorders and their primary prevention. It analyzes how schools handle primary prevention of eating disorders and what effect it has on pupils and students. It pursues the question of whether the applied primary prevention of eating disorders is sufficient and whether it encompasses all necessary issues. It uncovers weak spots of eating disorder prevention and proposes a solution. With the help of the grounded theory of semi- structured interviews with students and prevention methodolodists, it tries to create an approximate model of how effective eating disorder primary prevention should look like.
The role of social worker in home for abandoned children with school

I choose the topic of my bachelor's thesis on the basis of practice, personal experience and the experience of colleagues in the field. I deal with the description of the activities and risks associated with activities of social workers to achieve the goals in homes for abandoned children with school. I used a qualitative research, method of semi-structured interviews, to achieve these goals. Five social workers from these institutions in Czech Republic were willing to do the interview with me. It was found that the role of social worker is very important and diverse in its content. The social worker is an intermediary between the institution for these kids and all other related institutions. Social worker coordinates the admission of children and administratively ensures their admission, transfer and release, cooperates and mediates contact with OSPOD, CSSA, Czech police, courts, schools and medical facilities. An integral part of his job is the mediation and enabling contact with the family, neighbors, foster parents, informs them about what is happening in the facility and maintains close contact with children and informs them about their family situation appropriate to the age and mental abilities of the child.
