Thinking about a human body which is difficult to acquire Hybrid [Artificial] Autofiction
Čermák, Aleš ; Zálešák, Jan (referee) ; Stejskal,, Jakub (referee) ; Cenek, Filip (advisor)
There is no one in the cave who can die. Let me put that different ly. No one has ever been born and no one has ever died. From this statement, the question arises whether this purely theoretical sta tement can help us in the situation we are in right now. We have to answer the question of whether there is or has been a world without us on the basis of direct embodied experience. I start from the assumption that recognizing oneself as a person can be one of the strangest acts ever. Being attentive and fully present in the space of a given medium is not a choice but a necessity, as well as a positive consequence of the environment in which we are immersed. This means thinking into the body of another world. In this artresearch project, I primarily focus on the research of embodied experience and analysis of morethanhuman forces and actions in the Atlantic Ocean. Through direct embodiment (embodied and situated practice), this work explores at various levels the permeable – seeping boundaries between man and nature. I describe how individual activities are experienced in a sensory way and how this directly embodied knowledge is used in the research (embodied, performative, research and pedagogical) practice itself. Through this artresearch work, I would like to experiment beyond analytical and grammatical description and expand my research towards poetic, aesthetic and creative gestures that express the power and complexity of the elements.
Exceptions to the positive relationship between species diversity and environmental heterogeneity
Srpová, Tereza ; Hořák, David (advisor) ; Divíšek, Jan (referee)
The positive relationship between environmental heterogeneity and species richness has been taken for granted for many years. However, recent studies have revealed possible alternatives to this positive relationship, such as negative or unimodal relationship. There are many possible explanations for these alternative relationships. Increasing spatial heterogeneity of a biotope of a given size inevitably leads to reduction in the effective area available to the organisms inhabiting it. At the same time, increased environmental heterogeneity can lead to fragmentation and isolation of biotope patches, which can have negative consequences for the species richness of the community. Inadequate methodology may be one of the reasons why these alternative relationships have only been discovered in the recent years. Correct information on the relationship between environmental heterogeneity and species richness is essential for decisions on biodiversity conservation. For this reason, it is necessary to discover such alternative relationships in specific ecosystems, which we aim to protect, and to always take them into account, even if they are less common.
The potential of land art for art education in relation to current environmental trends

In following chapters is covered environmental education, its goals, and the means that can be applied in art education. It includes child development from an environmental perspective, or ways to discuss climate change with children. The practical part defines didactic transformation and includes proposals for didactic transformations of land art activities. No Particular Title
Borovková, Magdalena ; Othová, Markéta (referee) ; Klímová, Barbora (advisor)
The topic of my work is space and its influence on our perception. I am interested in how this perception changes during time. I create small interventions that can remain overlooked as through they are on visible sites. The choice of particular interventions is based on my subjective experience with the location - which in this work is the building of our school. With my interventions, I intend to intensify the spectators consciousness of space and time - „here and now“ - and the complex perception the environment. Using photographic record, reflections on variuos surfaces, and point of view, I work with time and space. The main question for me was whether is there a way to „catch“ a moment and project it back into his site.
Atmospheric particles and their measurement
Kantor, Radek ; Elcner, Jakub (referee) ; Bělka, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to find out what aerosols are, what properties they possess and how they can be measured. In today’s age, the term particles in the atmosphere, is highly talked about because it is known, that particles in the air can be inhaled and cause health problems. By measuring properties of particles from different sources, we can find out the danger level of such particles. One sample was measured by several different techniques and analyzed. Thanks to this analysis we can determine size distribution of particles and then their possible danger.
Mist
Volkova, Zoya ; Kudělka, Vladimír (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
The "Mist" is a visual narrative project on the border between 2D digital games and interactive animation. The virtual space here thematically take place between key words such as dream, sleep, limbo, phase of sadness, phase of dying. Subsequently, a form of metaphor is elaborated with the help of a non-existent landscape with specific elements (trees, plants, and others). Road through the countryside, road through the mist. Part of the movement of virtual space is a survey of linear processing over time.
Intelligent Fighting Units
Kužela, Martin ; Janeček, Petr (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The field training of army units includes high financial, material and human resource investments. From this reason, an emphasis on the simulator training of these units arised recently. But the training in simulator needs to have the simulated units as intelligent as a human beings are, so the field training with real human opponents can be successfully replaced with the simulator training. This work deals with the design of fighting unit's intelligent behaviour, that will be applicable in the E-COM simulator environment. Work covers the description of intelligent agents and ways how to achieve their rational and autonomous behaviour. The proposal and the analysis of intelligent fighting unit's implementation and unit's communication with surrounding environment, basic implementation of this proposal and experiments with created implementation are also described in this work.

Interactive Web Page Design Environment
Moravec, Jaroslav ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This master's thesis describes an environment for creation and management of interactive web pages. It deals with both the structure design and the visual part. The basic idea is that the page consists of individual elements that can be arbitrarily composed together. There exist several kinds of such elements: interactive, content, database and informative elements. Furthermore, the environment includes tools for account management, access control, database administration, auditing, multilanguage support and some more.
Augmented reality and its use
Ibehej, David ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
Augmented reality is one of the most developed technological areas. It corresponds with the fact, that we hear more and more about it and therefore it needs to be considered for the future. This bachelor thesis attempts to provide brief research in topics of its definition, history, current usage, shortcomings and options in the field of game engines and developer tools. In second part it demonstrates possible utilization in industry providing the solution of mechanical component projection and interaction.
