Hodec, Markus E. ; Sepp, Hans Rainer (advisor) ; Stenger, Georg (referee) ; Schmiedl-Neuburg, Hilmar (referee)
The present work on the phenomenon of the new sees itself as an introductory structure of kainology. In doing so, it is pursuing two goals. On the one hand, it seeks the establishment of a new philosophical concept and an independent philosophical method, kainology. On the other hand, the main scope of this investigation applies to the problematization of the phenomenon of the new. In order to take a systematic look at the new, the work is divided into three sections, each of which produces its own partial result. The first section deals with the history of the new. Exemplifying the ontological opposition of Heraclitus and Parmenides, the new emerges as a phenomenon that can be treated more precisely in terms of becoming rather than in terms of being. The second section is dedicated to the method. The kainological method is based on the one hand on dialectics as formulated by Hegel and further developed by Adorno. On the other hand, kainology borrows from the method of phenomenology, namely Husserl's. The complementarity of the two pioneering achievements results in four main methodological elements for kainology: first person singular, from fact to Wesen, the included middle and subject-object. Limits of Drawings
Korejsová, Karolina ; Pfeiffer, Jan (advisor) ; Francová, Sylva (referee)
In my bachelor thesis I research the topic of drawing and its variation and transformation throughout time and genre. I will describe the boundaries that define it and how these boundaries expand. I will focus on the difference between its significance and visuality in historical context and relate its variability to contemporary experimental trends. I will present drawing in a broad historical, cultural and technical context and this complete the image of its current boundaries. For the practical part, I am inspiration from said variability of drawing and its experimental forms. This work should correspond to the transformation mentioned in the didactic part of the thesis. An installation of a spatial drawing was created. In the didactic part, I elaborate on the section regarding the transformation of drawing into non-traditional forms and describe how such drawing experiments could be incorporated into practical education.

Oharková, Alena ; Novák, Arnošt (advisor) ; Lapka, Miloslav (referee)
Ecological modernization theory - facts and context. Historical perspective, conditions and limits of the neoliberal sustainability koncept Annotation: This diploma thesis deals with the synthesis of ideas of ecological modernization theory, which has been developing since the 80's of the 20th century particularly in Western Europe. The ecological modernization theory wants to explain, interpret and propose environmental reforms in conjunction with continued economical growth, industrial development and globalization. The ecological modernization theory argues that a continuous industrial development does not lead inevitably to environmental degradation, but rather provides the best possible way out of the environmental crisis. Although the ecological modernization theory is a relatively young concept, during the first thirty years of its existence has greatly expanded and diversified, gained countless supporters and opponents, provoked a number of debates and inspired many empirical studies. This development, however, has led not only to new findings but also resulted in a dilution of the ecological modernization theory, which thereby has become confusing, vague and inconsistent. This thesis attempts to give a framework to the ecological modernization theory to specify not only its main ideas and goals,...
