Teacher professions from the point of view of pupils, parents and of teacher selected primary school

This diploma thesis brings information about the perception of the teaching profession by secondary school students, their parents, and teachers of a selected primary school. The aim of the work is to find out with the help of questionnaires, how pupils and their parents subjectively see and perceive teachers and how the teachers who teach pupils themselves see their profession as a teacher. In the theoretical part, I deal with the historical development of education and the teaching profession in our territory. I also deal with the characteristics of the teaching profession by clarifying the very concept, personality traits, and typology of the teacher's personality. This section also includes chapters on the competence of the teacher, his authority and motivation to choose the teaching profession. In the last part, I deal with the current form of the teaching profession in primary school, the requirements for the profession, and including selected problems of our education. In the practical part, I used a questionnaire survey to evaluate the data obtained by individual respondents among students, parents, and teachers and then I analyzed the data of individual groups of respondents and drew a conclusion. Prestige of the teaching profession

1 Abstrakt Bachelor thesis is focused on the prestige of the teaching profession. The theoretical part is devoted to the specification of the basic conscepts like prestige, social status and teacher. In the next part I characterize the teaching profession as a full-fledged profession which is focused on profession identity of teachers, demands on teachers, the most common problems which the teachers in their jobs face and the responsibilities of teachers. In the next part I descibe particular elements, which shape and influence the prestige of the theaching profession. The practical part of the thesis is based on a questionnaire survey, which was given to the students and teachers of the elementary school Most, Václava Talicha 1855 and on the leading of structured interviews that were made with teachers who work at this school. The aim of this research is to find out how students and teachers of the selected school perceive the prestige of teaching profession. Next goal is to infer and substantiate the level of prestige of the teaching profession, which students and teachers attribute to the teaching proffesion at this elementary school. Perception registered nurse on the part of other health professions

Aim of the bachelor's work were first to investigate how the profession of general nurse is taken in notice with other medical professions including doctors and non-medical workers in multidisciplinarian team. Second, to discuss the relationship during cooperation between other medical workers and general nurses. Third, compare the profession of general nurse in faculty hospital and in city hospital. Theoretical part determines term of "taking in notice", its characteristics, and discuss various factors related with taking in the notice during multidisciplinary cooperation . In the work I briefly describe history and actual situation in general nursing profession. Presented work is focused on qualificative personal and legislative predispositions of general nursing profession and other medical professions. Experimental part shows quantitative metod of data collection using request form including data collection, administration and investigation of returned data. In conclusion, evaluation of hypothesis correlated with aims of the bachelor's work is performed. The Nursing Profession from the Point of View of Medical Students

The Bachelor thesis "The Nursing Profession from the Point of View of the Medical Students" provides insight into nursing as a profession. The thesis states the main characteristics of profession. The study describes the process of professionalization and its impact on the prestige of nursing profession. This thesis also deals with the changes in the role of nurse and the image of nursing profession. The empirical part focuses on determining the attitude of medical students to the nursing profession and the subsequent comparison of the results with previous surveys and among selected groups of students.
Career counseling as a part of a general system of coanseling at High schools

Thesis Career Counseling, as a part of a general system of counseling at high schools, deals with diverse approaches towards professional preparation at high schools. Any help, with making a right decision of choosing a career or continuing in studies, is undoubtedly an important source for each person at high school and has been occupying this distinctive role in education. This thesis is trying to bring about the changing of the position of Career Counselor's within the school system, in a general system of counseling. The goal of this thesis is to cover the various subjects' conception of counselors at high schools and also trying to entitle their targets in connection with reality. At the end there will be given a description and clarification of three different high schools (each with different cultural and social-economic conditions) and their correspondences towards Career counseling in cooperation with the content analyses of the subjects' conceptions of Career counseling.
Men's motivation to remaining in the teaching profession at primary school

This diploma thesis called Men's motivation to remaining in the teaching profession at primary school is about men - teachers at the Czech primary schools. The main goal is to analyse the motivation to staying in the teaching profession on the basis of twelve semi-structured interviews with teachers from different primary schools. In general, the teaching profession is not so atractive for men - it is traditionally associated with lower salary, not too high prestige in society and also because the teaching profession is often called "female job". The feminization of Czech education is another big theme of this thesis. In relation to this phenomenon, possible causes, consequences and strategies, that could attract more men to the field of education and would change the actual situation, are discussed. Who was your mother? Who are your uncles and aunts? The concept of family background and selected demographic phenomena in the work of Jane Austen in comparison with the Austen family and historical-demographic research for England at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries

The presented master thesis deals with the work of Jane Austen. The author's novels are analysed from the perspective of the concept of the family, both from a literary and demographic point of view. These research questions constitutes two subject of the examination. The first subject is the family, as it is the cornerstone of Jane Austen's short stories. The objective of this work is to analyse the extent to which family relationships determine the possibilities of the main characters and heroines; how the heroines benefit from family ties or, on the contrary, want to escape from them. The conclusions show that Austen applied this determination in all studied novels. This work further examines the degree of cooperation and rivalry of the individual families in the novels. At this point, a significant diversity of interfamily relationships was found. Secondly, this work maps selected demographic idiosyncrasies in Jane Austen's family, in the families from her short stories, and in historical demographic studies of England at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.
