Title: Posterior chain muscle endurance and arm paddling peak power in amateur female surfers Objectives: Thesis is dedicated to female surfing, particularly paddling, as this is an undiscovered area of research. Very few studies have been carried out, which would focus on muscle activity in surfing. None of the studies focused on posterior chain or muscle activity of female surfers while paddling. Not only that the level of competitive surfing is increasing rapidly, as it will be part of Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020, but the recreational surfers are also becoming more literate about surf science and willing to improve their surfing performance by dry land surf specific trainings. Surfing industry represents a worldwide business, where big companies offer sponsorship, which is reasonable motivation for young athletes (M. Mendez-Villanueva & Bishop, 2005). As the number of recreational and competitive female surfers is raising as well, the level of competitive female surfing is increasing (Booth, 2001) and professional female surfers are becoming equal in regards to getting the same amount of prize money in competitions, more research should be dedicated to female surfing. Liability for Damage and Compensation for Damage in Labour Law

This thesis deals with an employer´s and employee´s liability for damage and with different rights and obligations determined for each participant of labour law relations. At first different types of liability were described, as well as the matter of safety at workplace and prevention, specifically with the help of the Labour Code. This theoretical and legislative basis have been compared to the everyday reality in existing companies. Then I found out, how effective the system of prevention in companies is and how it shows its ability to reduce the amount of cases of damage compensation.

Name: System view on insurance athletes Goals: The aim is to submit a report on sports insurance in the Czech Republic, with a focus on amateur and registered athletes, and evaluate the results and propose recommendations. Partial aim is to analyze insurance products from commercial insurers and findings awareness of opportunities for sports insurance among the public. Methods: Secondary research was conducted - collecting data from websites of insurers and insurance brokers and analysis.Primary research was conducted - written and online interviews. Results: Analysis of insurance offers were compared to a one model example. It turned out some differencies in both- in quality and price The questionnaire research has shown, that not all athletes are insured, while the majority of injuries come from sports. Based on the research, some recommendations for athletes and insurers were created. Role of nurse in childhood injuries prevention

The theoretical part of this study is devoted firstly to the definition and conception of injury, which is further classified in accordance with intention, mechanism, place of origin type of accident and the location of the injury on the body. The section on injury prevention describes how to prevent injuries at the primary level (prevent the origin of injury), at the secondary level (reducing consequences) and at a tertiary level ( to minimize the aftereffects of injury). It also shows that the fall in the number of childhood injuries is insufficient in comparison with the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and some Scandinavian countries where Sweden and Finland achieves the best results in injury prevention. The study also describes what is done for prevention of injuries (preventive inspection, dispensary inspection and treatement of injuries). Problems are described from the first preventive examination of a new- born child, followed by preventive examinations throughout the suckling age, the toddler age, the preschool age, the younger school age, the senior/sophomore school age until adolescence /teenagers. Peer Element in Prevention of Children's Injuries at Primary School

This diploma thesis engages in the issue of protection of children's health. It focuses on the prevention occurrence of accidents among children. The aim of this thesis is to refer to the importance of this topic and to realize the project, in which primary school pupils have an opportunity to reduce the rate of accidents actively. The theoretical part presents epidemiological data about childhood's accidents, warns of the specifics of psychomotor development of primary school children. In addition to inform about the methods of intervention and prevention levels and it gives an overview of organizations which engage in the protection of health. The practical part presents the results of a survey that addressed the teachers in point of view on idea of leadership in teaching by older primary school pupils. Then constitute the specific prevention project in which fifth grade pupils prepares a lesson on the subject of injury prevention for the second grade pupils. Conclusion the practical part includes modifying the original project and recommendations for teachers, based on the experience gained in implementing the project.
Analysis of the injury rate at elderly people in České Budějovice in years 2011 - 2013

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou úrazů seniorů hospitalizovaných v Nemocnici České Budějovice, a.s. a FN Plzeň. Teoretická část práce popisuje současnou situaci týkající se stáří, stárnutí, zabývá se gerontologií, biologickými, psychickými a sociálními projevy stáří, úrazy seniorů, prevencí těchto úrazů, kvalitou života seniorů, dále pojednává o službách poskytovaných seniorům a aktivním stárnutí. Výzkumná část se opírá o kvantitativní průzkumné šetření u vybraných úrazů seniorů. Ke zvolené problematice se vztahují stanovené hypotézy, které jsou následně podrobně analyzovány a vyhodnocovány. Cílem této práce bylo provést retrospektivní analýzu zaznamenaných úrazů seniorů, které vedly k hospitalizaci v letech 2011 ? 2013 na klinice úrazové chirurgie ve FN Plzni a v Nemocnici České Budějovice, a.s. Výzkumné šetření bylo zaměřeno na klienty ve věkových kategoriích 65 - 74 let, 75 - 84 let a 85 a více let. Zjištěné výsledky diplomové práce jsou podrobně analyzovány a graficky znázorněny v kapitole Výsledky a shrnuty v kapitolách Diskuze a Závěr. Cíl předkládaného textu byl naplněn.
