The influence of the social climate of the teaching staff on the work and motivation of kindergarten teachers.

This diploma thesis discusses the influence of the social climate of the teaching staff on the work performance and motivation of teachers in kindergartens. The theoretical part of the work is dedicated to the definition of teaching staff, the work duties they must perform and also their motivation. The role of kindergarten principals and their influence on the climate of the teaching staff and the motivation of pedagogues is also described. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the differences between the school climate, the classroom climate and the social climate of the teaching staff. The empirical part of the work presents the research results. The study focused on investigating the social climate of teaching staff in kindergartens and its influence on teacher's motivation and satisfaction. In this approach a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods was used to identify factors influencing the climate of the teaching staff and their influence on the work and motivation of teachers. On the basis of the obtained information the work presents some options that could help to build a positive climate for the teaching staff in kindergartens. The bachelor thesis deals with the system of employee benefits in a selected company. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis examines employee benefits, internal and external influences on them and their tax advantage both from the employer's and the employee's side. The analytical part of the bachelor thesis evaluates the economic situation of the company, examines internal and external influences and also describes the remuneration system of the selected company. Lastly, the opinion of the employees of the company was sought through a questionnaire and the opinion of the management of the company was sought through an interview. The design part then deals with the cafeteria system, the choice of an external supplier, its benefits and disadvantages, variations of possible costs and its implementation in the company.

The thesis focuses on the issue of employee motivation and retention in a selected company. The theoretical part deals with the concepts related to the issue of employee motivation and retention. The factors examined include satisfaction, training and development, workplace relations and employee care. The aim is to identify factors that positively or negatively affect employee motivation. Data will be collected using a semi-structured interview and a standardized questionnaire. The practical part describes trends on market of benefits and analyse current situation in Thermo Fisher Scientific Brno s.r.o. with methods such as questionnaire, analyses, interview with management. It also describes options provided by cafeteria plan and its flexibility for benefits distribution to each employee. Suggestion presents benefits of cafeteria plan, how old and new benefits should be implemented into this plan, and what it costs.
