Application of Gender Management in Selected Company

This diploma thesis is focused on the application of gender management in Bosch Diesel company, situated in Jihlava. In the theoretical part the essential terms and general findings about gender management and work-life balance are explained. The practical part of the thesis deals with the chosen company, analysis of its internal environment and incentives to integrate gender management and deal with the work-life balance. Alongside with the survey in Bosch Diesel, questionnaire research in Honeywell (Brno) was accomplished, which provided an interesting comparison with the questionnaire investigation carried out in Bosch Diesel. The aim of the thesis is to prepare suitable suggestions based on the previous analysis. These suggestions are of informational character and then they could bring positive changes in some companies (and the whole society as well).
How social work has affected the lives of social workers.

79 Abstract This diploma thesis explores the effects of social work on a social worker. The goal of this thesis is to describe the effects regarding the worker's life and experience in depth. The theoretical part of this paper is compiled of four parts. The introductory part explicates the definition of social work and the characteristics of a social worker. The following chapter deals with the role as well as the responsibilities of a social worker in their professional life; in addition, some potential risks a social worker may experience in their line of work are presented. Next, the private life of a social worker is explored in connection with their profession. Finally, work-life balance and psychohygiene are delved into as preventative measures, which should be implemented at, as well as outside of work. The practical part of this paper is qualitative research, specifically, a semi-structured interview; in other words, an interview composed of open-ended questions was conducted with several social workers from a reception centre. The resulted data was analysed through coding techniques and delineated according to the theory explored in the first part of this paper. Professional ethic of advocates in the Czech Republic Abstract This diploma thesis talks about professional ethic of the advocates in the Czech Republic. The paper consists of five chapters varying in the degree of abstractness, the further the chapter the more concrete. First chapter gives general introduction describing basic terms related to the chosen topic, here the aim is to understand not only these terms but also relations among them. General terms such as morals, ethic and law which are all defined and shown in their interconnection are the essential mainstays for this thesis. There follows the introduction of the professional ethic and ethical code. The second chapter deals with the history of advocacy starting from the very beginnings and ending with recent history since the fundamental milestones in the history of advocacy still influence the way we perceive advocacy nowadays, including its regulations and ethical rules. This trip to history shows development of advocacy beginning with the Roman speakers to today' s work of an advocate. Secretly ordained bishops in the 2nd half of the 20th century. An example of the life and work of bishop Kajetán Matoušek

This thesis focuses on the life of the secretly consecrated Roman Catholic bishop Kajetán Matoušek. The author will try to compare Matoušek's life and career to the fate and work of other secretly consecrated Roman Catholic bishops who were ordained in the same historical period and served in the Prague archdiocese. The bishops are Ladislav Hlad, ThLic. Karel Otčenášek, PaedDr. and František Cardinal Tomášek. The comparison of K. Matoušek's life to the life of others is based on their individual life stages and milestones, such as childhood, studies, or motivation to become a priest, as well as the circumstances of the secret ordination. Preserved materials about the above-mentioned bishops stored in Archiv bezpečnostních složek (Security Services Archive) were used for this thesis as well as the materials found in the Archives of the Prague Archbishopric, where are stored mainly official materials. An equally important source of information is a family archive of the Novotný family, which was related to Bishop Matoušek (the Matoušek family's male line died out with Bishop Matoušek himself), from which many photographs, but also other materials analyzed in this thesis were obtained. Title: The Issue of Returning of Competitive Tennis Players post Game Break Objectives of work: The aim of my bachelor thesis is to determine the course of two professional tennis players'career in connection with its long-term interruption. Surveys the circumstances and psychical and physical condition of athletes efore, during and after a tennis pause. The reasons and effect of carem interruptions will be explore. Method: Will be used methods as narrative interview - annotated transcription technice, quantitative interview, analysis and comparison. Results: In this work have been identified three scientific questions, all managed to handle. The reset of the research is fanding that a pause in a professional tennis player career did not have a negative impact on personal life, while in both cases the impact was positive. Negatively impressed by thein performance, because no one in the interval of pause trained fully. After return to the tournaments both players met the targets set out to do with the coach. Effect of coach change on professional tennis players

Title: Effect of coach change on professional tennis players Objectives of work: The aim of the thesis is to analyze the impact of coach change on professional tennis players from the psychology perspective, social relationship and player's attitude to the sport itself. The impact of the coach change on player's approach to tennis, game results, personal life and interpersonal relationships will be examined. Method: The methods that will be used are narrative interviews - annotated transcription technique, quantitative interview, analysis and comparison. Results: In the practical part of the dissertation, author answered five research questions through conducted research. Conducted research revealed that coach change affected tennis results of only one of the investigated probands. However, positive psychological impact of coach change was described by both probands. Neither of probands changed his training methods or their approach to tennis after the coach change. Team goals of one of the proband were not achieved, the second proband is still an active player and works on his sports career. Forms of Harmonization of Private and Work Live of the Sandwich Generation for Managers

The thesis deals with the modern phenomenon of the sandwich generation focusing on managers. First part focuses on knowledge related to demographic pressures. It also defines the role of children and senior carers in the context of social policy in the Czech Republic. Based on the initial findings of role conflict of carers and staff my research was realized and it deals with the identification of impacts of experienced situation on the individual, who simultaneously finds himself in the role of a manager and children or senior carer, in his personal and professional life. The participants of the qualitative research underwent semi- structured interviews in which thematic areas related to the causes and circumstances of their role as caregivers and chief executive were included. Data analysis showed the impacts of factors influencing harmonization on personal and professional lifes of executives in the sandwich generation. Influence of journalistic proffesion on personal life of journalists

anglicky This diploma thesis focuses on the influence of journalistic profession on personal, private and family life of journalists. The aim is to find different approaches by which people employed in the media approach their work and reconcile personal life with employment, as well as to identify and describe possible differences in attitudes between men and women. The method of qualitative research is semi-structured interviews followed by analysis through grounded theory. A sample of respondents made up of men and women who work in the media of various types, focus and reach at the time of writing this diploma thesis should help to get a comprehensive view of the matter.
