Websites of care service providers in the South Bohemian Region according to the Register Social Service Providers
BARTUŠKOVÁ, Michaela
The objective of my diploma thesis is analysing the webpages of chosen care providers in the Region of South Bohemia from the perspective of individuals currently interested in using care services for a family member. With regard to the character and objective of my diploma thesis, I chose three research questions. How do candidates evaluate the design and clarity of the webpages belonging to the chosen care service providers? How do service candidates evaluate the ease of finding and the amount of information on the webpages of chosen care service providers and what information is important to them on the webpage? How do prices for individual acts of provided services differ in chosen providers? To reach the objective of my diploma thesis and to answer research questions I have chosen to combine the methods of both, qualitative and quantitative research. In the qualitative part, I chose a semi-structured interview with ready questions that I asked for in all analysed provider webpages to be the data collection technique. In the quantitative part, I used the technique of a questionnaire with closed scaling questions to be the data collection technique. There are two research files appearing in my thesis. One of these are people currently interested in care service and the other are webpages of care service providers. For research purposes, I picked five webpages of providers who differed from each other in their organization form. The results prove that in case of the first research question, from the perspective of webpage design and its clarity, the following aspects are viewed as important, the font, the colours, and photos. Clarity is then linked to the above-mentioned factors together with the amount of information and its placement on the webpage. From the perspective of provided information, according to the research, the subjective feeling, the amount of information, ease or difficulty of finding specific information and how the visitor evaluates the web´s information being current, matter. In the last part of my research, I did a comparison of providers´ price lists within my research file and compared the given prices per task or a time interval to the Decree No. 505/2006 Coll. In majority of cases, the prices were stated equally in all organizations, they only differed in details. All organizations follow a financial limit based on the above-mentioned decree. The results of my thesis could serve as feedback to care service providers from the perspective of an independent observer who has minimal knowledge of this service, but on the other hand, is interested in given social service.

The aim of the thesis is to describe school psychologists' experiences with online counselling during COVID-19 lockdown. The qualitative design was chosen for the research purposes. The method of data collection consisted of conducting semi-structured interviews. The research sample included four female school psychologists and one male school psychologist. Data analysis was conducted based on interpretative phenomenological text analysis. In the research findings, the school psychologists' cumulative experience with online counselling consisted of an overall reduction in counselling services, which was primarily due to addressing ethical issues such as privacy and the construction of professional and work boundaries, as well as technical barriers and a change in the form of work in the online environment. School psychologists considered the main benefit of the online environment to be the flexibility of time and place, or the...

Pflegerová, Nikola ; Klabíková Rábová, Tereza (advisor) ; Hrabánková, Markéta (referee)
The focus of this diploma thesis is the development and change in printed media. It is aimed at fashion periodicals from their beginning to present time. Czech mutations of ELLE and Harper's Bazaar were chosen as specific examples. The thesis is divided into several independent sections. In the first one, terms and theoretical solutions are defined and later further examined. The theory of parasocial interaction is used to view the chosen media as if they were individuals able to establish relationships with their readers through social media. Media are also assessed as a constituent of an industry field, in which rivalries take place and therefore it is necessary to adjust to the changing technological environment. Next part of the thesis is an attempt to describe the development of fashion magazines with an extra focus on visual transformation as well as on the change of communication strategies towards readers. Situation abroad and in the Czech Republic is detailed. In the practical section, there is an attempt at answering the research question, what are the communication options and how are they used in the traditional printed fashion magazines in the online setting. My thesis is titled Trolling and other unusual online behaviours. It focuses on deviant behaviours of internet users in Czech and foreign context. Trolling and hate became inseparable part of online environment, it is sort of a side product of the development of technology. The aim of this thesis is to reveal strategies hidden behind behaviour of users of the internet who intentionally disrupt the continuity of online environment (trolling etc.), also depicting the profile of this kind of internet user, characterizing him and describing his way of doings and his impact on other users. In the theoretical part I characterize fundamental terms which are related to the topic. These include terms like flame wars, hoax etc. In this part I also attempted to describe the troubled history of online deviant behaviour which dates back to the eighties. Historic analysis of huge amount of online articles was a big help in this task because the scientific literature related to the topic is not available. In the practical part I used quantitative and qualitative analysis. Using questionnaire survey in which 225 respondents took part I explored public attitude to deviant behaviour (trolling). Aplikace principů pozornosti v online prostředí
Suchý, Miroslav ; Pavlíček, Antonín (advisor) ; Endlar, Lewis (referee)
Attention is today a scarce resource, which is from physiological substance of the human brain to a certain extent limited. Abundance of information that affect the user who grasp the information, cause a mismatch between the information that is infinite and ever growing, and user attention, which is used during the processing of this information. From the perspective of Attention economy, there are principles that explain how attention works. This work aims to verify these principles of attention in the electronic environment by measuring eye movements of sample of tested participants during execution of proposed tasks on particular website. Using a technology called eye-tracking there are collected supportive data on user's allocated attention in context of executed tasks on the website. These data are analysed and compared with the principles of attention. The analysis of the tested sample of website users confirmed that attention principles really corresponds with the measured allocated attention and also revealed a clear relationship between the various measured amounts of attention and subsequent user behaviour, which was nearly identical at most of the observed users. These findings led to the recommendation to respect the principles of attention in the design of any e-environment platform, which should avoid to the main researched problem, the abundance of information and the lack of attention of users in online environment.
