In the theoretical background chapter, it describes family business, strategic management and change management. In the practical background chapter, it builds and implements a new strategic business plan according to the theoretical background and the analysis of the external and the internal business environment.

This thesis focuses on the topic of succession in family firms. It focuses on the handover of the firm to the next generation and the measures that both, the transferor and the successor, have to take to make the handover successful. The topic of succession has been very topical in the last few years for family firms in the Czech Republic, which started to be established after 1989. The founders are now approaching retirement age and are dealing with who to pass their business on to, whether the descendants will build on their success and whether generational change will take place. The aim of this thesis is to define the main factors that influence the succession and to propose the optimal way of handing over the company to the next generation, based on the conducted expert research on this issue. In the practical part, selected family businesses with whom in-depth interviews are conducted are presented. On the basis of the evaluation of the obtained information, measures leading to the easiest possible succession transfer in a family business are proposed.
A republic that outlived itself. The Emperors of the Julio-Claudian dynasty and their inner politics

The subject of the thesis are the Emperors of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. The author is dealing with steps that Emperors of the first dynasty took to change the current republican establishment in the so called principate. The main point is the relationship between the Emperors and the social elite, primarily the senate. On the relationship between the emperor and the senate is viewed in two levels, namely the emperor and the senate as whole and the emperor and the senators as individuals. The thesis also analyses the dividing of the roman Provinces between the power of the senate and the power of the emperor as well as the intervention in this dividing. The attitude of the Emperors towards their ancestors is also part of the work.
The Evolution of Jordanian Political Regime After 1989

The aim of this master thesis is to analyze political regime of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and to find out some possible effects, which could have had an influence on its stability and survival in the last 25 years. The Jordanian political regime had gone through several crises in the examined years. Not only did it survive all of them but also became stronger. Which factors caused the survival of the regime? In the first part of the thesis we typologize the regime from three possible perspectives (institutional, formalistic and legitimation). The second part deals with an analysis of factors, which enable the survival of Jordanian political regime. The emphasis is given on the role of institutions.
Strategic Management of Age Structure of Workers in Mechanical Engineering

The Bachelor's thesis focuses on age management of employees in mechanical engineering, which is nowadays a problematic area from the point of view of human resources. The thesis introduces topics related to age (age management, diversity management), but also the topics of succession and talent management. The thesis observes the specifics of mechanical engineering from the point of view of the general industry, and then more specifically, considering the status of graduates and seniors employed in the industry. The thesis contains a quantitative research of age structure management in the selected organizations which were the talks with the representatives of HR bodies and workers resulted in the identification of procedures that guide the decisions about age structure in small and medium-sized mechanical engineering oriented companies in the Benešov region. The Role of Women During the Reign of the Tudor Dynasty The purpose of this writing is to introduce some rather interesting circumstances concerning the history of Tudor England and the lives of the queens of the famous dynasty. First off, the subject of the royal family's ascension to the throne shall be discussed, as well as the woman who estabilished this new dynasty and greatly influenced subsequent generations. Secondly, the fate of the Tudor queens shall be examined, in chronological order, recounting their lives before and after their ascendancy to the throne. We shall then compare how they were viewed in the eyes of their contemporaries with today's modern viewpoint. The end of my bachelor thesis is devoted to the prejudice of the power of women in a world dominated by men.
