Possibilities of the didactical use of the Jewish Museum in Prague for educational purposes concerning civics and humanities as a part of the Framework Education Programme for Secondary General Education

This diploma thesis is focused on possibilities of civil and social/scientific basis education along with use of activities of the Jewish museum in Prague and its action. Theoretical part of the thesis compares three different perspectives of the museum as an institution and represents museological, pedagogical and museum- pedagogical knowledge. Furthermore, this part describes the relation between the museum and school as well as the museum and society. This part also contains characteristics of the Jewish museum activities and its history. Last passage of theoretical part includes a presentation of project education as a form of teaching. Practical part involves education project on human rights subject for students of secondary school. Theoretical part of the diploma thesis is based on study of technical literature, practical part comes out from Framework Education Programme for Secondary General Education. Universal clothing and its use in museum education

In my thesis, built on the bachelor's thesis, I focus on the universal form of clothing. In the theoretical part I research the common features of garments in changing cultural and historical contexts. I focus on general aspects of clothing. I search for connections between functions and forms of clothing. I monitor the impact of historical styles on the work of contemporary clothing designers and I seek the universal features of today's fashion apparel. I observe the interest of children, teachers and also of publications in textile creation. In the art section I work on a series of proposals for universal variable apparel. By using patents it is created more models out of just one. I document and crtitically reflex the final results of possible model variations. In didactic part I suggest educational program for selected clothing exposition. The program includes worksheets and the posibility of using a universal garment as teaching tool. The program I verify in practice I also document and evaluate.
Interactive technologies for museums: analysis and possibilities of implementation with focus on enhancement visitors' motivation and engagement

This work focuses on interactive technology for museums and its influence on visitor experience. The theoretical part is aimed at museum context, museum education, and visitor behaviour. The concept of interactivity is defined and the importance of interactive technology for museums is analysed. Technologies and their implementations are described. In the chapter on interactive exhibits design, the process of planning, design principles and possible pitfalls are outlined. The purpose of the practical part is to evaluate and compare selected interactive installations. The M-Dimensions framework is used for this task
The Establishment of Museums in Korea and Their Educational Role

5 Abstract: The aim of this thesis is firstly to deal with the emergence and development of museums on the Korean peninsula and since 1948 only in the Republic of Korea. Secondly it aims to concentrate on their educational activities. The very first modern museum in Korea called the Imperial Museum was established at the beginning of the 20th century. A year after the museum opened its door to the public, Korea was annexed by Japan. That had a great impact on the development of the first museums in Korea. After the liberation from Japanese rule in 1945 the museums were handed over to Koreans. Museum activity had only just begun when the Korean War broke out. The focus of the following part is the National Museum of Korea (NMK), the most important museum in South Korea. For most of its history the museum moved from one place to another. In 2005 it finally found its place in a newly built modern building in Soul's district called Jongsan. By taking NMK as an example the thesis explores the museum educational activities. It offers a closer look at programs for foreigners and the growing number of immigrants and senior citizens, popular lecture series, wide range of guided tours etc. Finally, some exhibition projects are introduced. Use of audiovisual Equipment, Museum Pedagogy and Literature in the Teaching of Geography

His master's thesis I've divided into three parts, theoretical, practical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with the teaching of geography, educational technology and teaching aids, museum pedagogy, individual educational specificities of schools and museums and how should cooperation look like, what role in it plays the personality of the museum educator and what it is for a school and a museum benefit. And last but not least the literature, which is in my opinion an important element in the teaching of geography. In the practical part, I have described a realization of a project in which it is used didactic technology, a collaboration with the museum and work with literature. The empirical part is focused on research in basic schools in the field of educational technology. The key concepts on which the research is based, such as: modern didactic techniques, working with modern educational technology, the perception of educational technology as a means to the realization of the teaching.

Master´s thesis is focused on educational materials for children visitors of Technical Museum of Brno. Supporting materials are divided into two categories. Materials in the form of a printed guide for parents with children, folding worksheets and worksheets for school groups accompanied by a teacher. Educational tool for school groups are color-divided into three age groups for elementary schools. Supplementary materials are methodological sheets for teachers.
The Museum Phenomenon and Museum Education in the Environment of the Museum of South Bohemia

The thesis focuses on forms of education in the environment of the Museum of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice. Its first part defines the term Museum Phenomenon and introduces the history of museology and the history of various activities of the Town Museum in Ceske Budejovice. It also attempts to chart the very first educational activities of the Museum of Ceske Budejovice and furthermore it introduces its contemporary educational programs. Second part explains the terms Museum Education, Museum Animation and Leisure-time Pedagogy. It also elucidates the different means of museum education. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the pedagogical activities of the Museum of South Bohemia in relation to educational evaluation of leisure time activities. A significant part is dedicated to measuring the fulfillment of the internationally respected definition of ICOM by UNESCO through the means of museum pedagogy. This is also the main subject of the final part of the thesis, which should reflect the importance of museum education in relation to the world cultural heritage. A separate part is dedicated to illustrating a specific educational activity of the Museum of South Bohemia. The appendices present samples of both old and new exhibition worksheets.
The Jesuit College in Český Krumlov Options for educational use of regional monument in the classroom and in leisure time

The aim of my thesis is to prepare a creative project in cooperation of primary schools and Gymnasium in Český Krumlov with the National Heritage Institute in České Budějovice. In the project I am going to outline the great educational potential which that discipline may offer to schools. I am going to introduce the educational possibilities of using one monument within the city of Český Krumlov. I am going to link my experience and knowledge with the experience and knowledge of teachers (lecturers who teach history). I am going to proceed from the literature of pedagogy and monument care, regional history, the curriculum, the research and the results of which are published on the website. The project is going to be focused on complementing and diversification of the curriculum, which is discussed in schools and it/the project will contribute not only to the effective presentation of heritage values, but also to the development of education, creativity, and value orientation of the target groups in favour of the voluntary and sustainable care of the cultural heritage.
Experiential learning and interactive training projects in impact on pupils in younger school age.

The work addresses the importance of learning by experience for the development of education in elementary school pupils. The theoretical part of the work analyzes the current situation in the Czech education system, the directions of innovation efforts, and focuses on other opportunities and challenges that come together with modernization of the Czech education. The research primarily pursues an analysis of teachers' view to benefits of interactive educational projects - i.e. their objectives, focus, content and concept of events - in this particular case, interactive exhibits which complement the current system of education. It simultaneously monitors the activity and awareness of questioned teachers in the area of non-traditional methods of education.
