Use of instructional materials by volleyball coaches of category U14

Title: Use of instructional materials by volleyball coaches of category U14 Objectives: The main objective of this study was to find out whether U14 volleyball coaches use instructional materials, what instructional materials they use, which instructional materials they prefer and where they get these materials from. What is their view of the instructional materials prepared by the Czech Volleyball Federation and what instructional materials they lack. Methods: We used a survey method where we collected data in the form of an online questionnaire. The questionnaire was sent via e-mail to 190 contact persons of the U14 category, which were listed on the website of the Czech Volleyball Federation. In the e-mail it was clearly stated that it was intended for U14 coaches only. The online questionnaire contained 24 questions and was completed by 105 coaches. Results: YouTube was the most preferred platform for obtaining information. 51 % of coaches prefer to learn through a combination of written text and video and 43 % prefer video only. Only 25 % of coaches can quickly and easily find the instructional materials they are looking for. Only 30 % of coaches are familiar with the education section of the CVF website. Vybrané výukové metody vhodné pro práci v zájmovém čtenářském kroužku při MK v Měčíně

The bachelor thesis deals with the selected teaching methods which are applied in a readers club in MK Měčín. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the essence of the readers club as an unit and selected teaching methods of work with literary text suitable for leisure activities for pre-school children. The practical part contains a set of methodological materials created for this purpose and their verification in practice. The conclusion of the thesis includes a comparison of selected methods, which proved to be the most suitable for work in the readers club.

Diplomová práce "Chráněné bydlení pro osoby s fyzickým postižením" se věnuje aspektům, které zasahují do vzniku a úspěšného poskytování této služby. Jedná se o aktuální otázku, která je v souladu s cíli probíhajícího procesu transformace sociálních služeb, který směřuje k individualizaci sociální péče a přechodu ke komunitnímu typu pobytových služeb s důrazem na sociální začlenění uživatelů, což by služba chráněného bydlení měla pomoci naplnit. Prvotním záměrem práce bylo prozkoumat využití, případně absenci, metodických materiálů ve vztahu k chráněnému bydlení a na základě těchto zjištění navrhnout jejich úpravy či doplnění. Dále nahlédnout do důvodů, které způsobují nedostatek chráněného bydlení pro osoby s fyzickým postižením oproti možnostem pro osoby s postižením mentálním. Data byla sbírána prostřednictvím hloubkových rozhovorů s poskytovateli chráněného bydlení (či jejich zástupci) a analyzována dle principů kvalitativního výzkumu pomocí otevřeného, axiálního a selektivního kódování. V průběhu sběru a analýzy dat vyplynulo, že poskytovatelé metodické materiály příliš nevyužívají a neudávali tedy jejich výrazný dopad na praxi. Analysis of teaching materials for teaching media literacy in CR

Diploma thesis deals with the content analysis of the only media education textbook, which was published in 2009. This textbook represents a teaching material for secondary school students in the Czech Republic. After the theoretical background of this topic and presentation of the curricular reform of the Czech educational systém in 2007, the work focuses on the content analysis and comparison of the textbook and recommended outputs of the Czech curricular framework. Moreover, it deals with improving core competencies of the students while teaching the media education. The didactic content of the textbook is the most concerned thing. For this kind of research the qualitative content analysis method has been chosen, using the Bloom's taxonomy of the educational goals (primarily a cognitive domain). The analysis deals with the tasks in the textbook, which are given to the students. The result of the research reflects the emphasis on memorizing data, moreover, it shows the trend of simple evaluation which do not consider the previous deeper analysis. This fact is consistent with the opinion of many other curriculum content critics in Czech schools.
