The purpose of this master thesis is forming and developing new marketing strategies with focus on increasing the competitiveness of the company within the market of fast food restaurants. The work contains theoretical insight to given issue in the first part. Key part of the thesis is then analysis of the current situation of company policy and marketing strategy, which is used as a base for creating strategy new, containing specific steps to put it into practice.

The topic of this thesis is to increase the competitive position of the firm Plastika a.s. with the help of creation a new marketing strategy for the next period of time. The analysis of the present marketing strategy is the base for it. The first part of this work is based on the theory. The second part introduces the company Plastika a.s.. There is carried out the analysis of the current situation which focuses on its present marketing strategy. The third suggestion part formulates the suggestion of the new marketing strategy for the next period of time which will lead to the improvement of the competitive position of the firm Plastika on the market.

The objective of this thesis is to increase the competitiveness of the company “Wine and other goodies” by creating new marketing strategies. For development of a new strategy I will start from analyzing of the current strategy. The work is divided into three main parts. The first part deals with the theoretical background, the second part focuses on the presentation and analysis of the current situation and the last so called „recommendation part” - formulates a draft of the marketing strategy to increase profits, gain new clients but also retain existing customers.

Title: Comparison of marketing concepts of basketball clubs ČEZ Basketball Nymburk and BC Žalgiris Kaunas Objectives: The main objective of this work is to analyze current marketing concepts of basketball clubs ČEZ Basketball Nymburk and BC Žalgiris Kaunas as refers to the target group, promotion goals, specifics of sport advertising and eligibility of particular parts of marketing mix. Based on the comparison to make a concept of improvements and changes in existing marketing conceptions. Methods: The main method of this work is descriptive analysis; personal questioning and comparison are also used. SWOT analysis was made form gained data. Results: The thesis proved that marketing concept of two clubs at the same level in the country can differ a lot. Especially in term of history, tradition, popularity of sport, external environs and sport goals. The comparison showed that the marketing concept of BC Žalgiris Kaunas is more sophisticated and on higher level. Possibilities of change and improvements in marketing concepts of both clubs resulted from the analysis. Key words: marketing, marketing concept, marketing mix, sport advertising, basketball

Giftisimo Ltd. Marketingt Concept

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to describe Giftisimo Ltd. marketing concept and to analyse its current market position. The bachelor thesis is divided into 4 parts. The introductory part is considered as a theoretical basis of the thesis. In this part I describe what a marketing conception actually means in the context of other conceptual ways of business management. I also deliver basic information about segmentation, positioning, marketing mix 4P, marketing mix 4C, relationship marketing as a crucial component of the marketing conception and SWOT analysis. In the second part of the thesis I introduce Giftisimo Ltd. Company and look into its adjustments of the marketing tools defined in the first part of the thesis, with a focus on marketing methods. To give this part a complex quality, I also mention some most significant methods that Giftisimo Ltd. Company uses and that correspond to different conceptual methods of business management. In the third part of the thesis I briefly describe direct competitors of Giftisimo Ltd. Company on the local market. In the fourth part I construct SWOT analysis for Giftisimo Ltd. Company. During preparation of my bachelor thesis I used professional literature and websites of the companies mentioned in the thesis. Furthermore, I discussed my findings with Giftisimo personnel.
Orientation of a company in the market - selling or marketing conception

The theme of my bachelor{\crq}s thesis is Orientation of a company in the market {--} selling or marketing conception. I attempted to implement this analysis in Sony Centrum Ellex GK s.r.o.(Ltd.). The purpose of my thesis is to identify gradually the business conception of this company. The analysis of this conception is based on conversations with managers and employees, and on assessment of particular parts related to assortment, prices, distribution and communication. The results of the research show, that Sony Centrum Ellex GK s.r.o. (Ltd.) focuses rather on market than on company or organization and that the company emphasizes product. The company itself doesn´t identify customer´s needs. The company uses following tools of marketing mix: advertisement, sales promotions and personal selling. It uses promotion which is made by Sony. The profit, that Sony Centrum Ellex GK s.r.o. (Ltd.) gains, comes from sale quantity. The sale quantity is conditional on the customers´ satisfaction. At the end of my analysis I discovered that Sony Centrum Ellex GK s.r.o. (Ltd.) uses selling conception. Finally, I would like to emphasize that despite the absence of separated marketing department Sony Centrum Ellex GK s.r.o. (Ltd.) pays its attention almost to all marketing activities. On the basis of the assignments, greater inadequacies can be found in the area connected with customers. The company should continuously assess customers´ needs and order goods according to the assessment results.
