Valentová, Veronika ; Pospíšil, Zdeněk (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
The task of this thesis is the concept of restoration of the castle Zdislavice and its new use as a literary hotel, focusing on the personality of a prominent Austrian writer Marie Ebner-Eschenbach, née Dubská. My goal was to find use, which could be revived and could thus be preserved for future generations. Thanks to the personality of the writer, I decided to create site devoted to literature. I designed hotel for literary enthusiasts, linguists, copywriters and professionals. But also for visitors who are interested in the person of Marie Ebner-Eschenbach. There is also a restaurant, a literary cafe with an associated museum of the writer, chapel, banquet halls with potential uses for conference and library (three libraries). Part of the area is used as a park. It is designed as an English park, but part of the area closest to the castle is designed as a French garden. The tomb of Marie Ebner-Eschenbach is near the castle and is accessible via a staircase. Connection between tomb and castle is shown in the situration plan.

The theoretical part of the thesis ends with a description of our limitations regarding the representations of the fourth dimension. This first part of the work stands as the basis for the practical part of the thesis that introduces a quantitative case study which was realized in the following way. Reichmannová, Nikola ; Komberec, Filip (advisor) ; Starý, Karel (referee)
The diploma thesis focuses on reading, its support, and development among 1st-grade students in secondary schools, taking into account the requirements placed on students in relation to the final exam. Its goal is to outline some possibilities for appropriately motivating students to read in order to develop a positive attitude towards reading, and to provide inspiration for future graduates to engage with the relatively demanding ancient and medieval texts that are typically part of the curriculum at the beginning of their studies. The introductory chapters map the centrally set educational content of literary communication in secondary education as part of the Czech Language and Literature educational field, the position of reading and reading literacy in curricular documents, comparative research on reading, and professional opinions on literature education in Czech secondary schools. This is followed by a section dedicated to selected motivational means and methods that can be used within literature education to strengthen students' motivation for reading books and texts. The thesis concludes with examples of teaching lessons prepared on the topics of the oldest literature and their subsequent reflection after actual implementation in the educational process. The diploma thesis is focused on the use of stories in language teaching in primary school, especially the Czech language. The theoretical part contains basic information about the method of telling stories, storytelling, its possible use in the Czech language and experience with this method in teaching the English language. Kohl, Lukáš ; Fišerová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Fulková, Marie (referee)
The thesis deals with the possibilities of integrating art education and Czech language and literature education. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part both subjects are introduced. The chapters devoted to art education deal with the factors that may influence its position in Czech schools. These chapters also deal with the main areas that art education is focused on (fine arts and visual culture) and with the didactic approaches that can be applied in art education. The chapters about Czech language and literature education describe its three components (language education, literature education and communication and style education) and relate them to the content of art education. In the first section of the practical part of this thesis, specific school activities of an interdisciplinary nature are proposed. Also, general principles are suggested on the basis of which a teaching unit integrating art education with Czech language and literature education can be built. In the second section, a plan for a teaching unit on the topic of illustration is presented, followed by a record of two implementations of the planned teaching unit, in which pedagogical action research was carried out to improve and streamline future teaching. Reflection on the teaching...
