Vehicle Hydropneumatic Unit

This diploma thesis, following the bachelor's thesis, is devoted to the gas-liquid unit of a vehicle, as the central element of hydropneumatic suspension. The aim is to dimension and construct this component and integrate it together with other elements into a complex suspension system. Based on possible forms listed in the research section, regarding to current development trends, the form of the unit is chosen. The practical part begins with simulations comparing a hydropneumatic with a conventional suspension system. After solving this issue, it is possible to proceed to the dimensioning of the basic parameters of the unit and then to its construction, respecting the relevant strength calculations. The last step is to build a conceptual design of the whole hydropneumatic suspension system.

Experimental Car for Testing of Combustion Engines

The goal of this diploma thesis is to design a frame for an experimental vehicle. The primary object is to design a conception and layot of a drive unit. The frame design is followed by a creation of a model for an analysis. The model will serve for torsional stiffness computing using FEM analysis software. After evaluation of results additional chanhges of the design may take place. A vehicle will serve for testing combustion engines of the same conception and thus it is not intended to run on public roads.

Bluetooth Vibrating Ringer

This thesis is focused on the implementation of Bluetooth communication between a mobile phone and an external device. The first chapter focuses on Bluetooth technology in general. It describes the interface, device classes according to RF power, Bluetooth versions, security and pairing options. The second chapter of the Bachelor’s thesis deals with the Bluetooth module called HC-05. It describes the basic features and practical, module usage. It also shows the concept of the Bluetooth unit and describes the adjusting of certain parameters of the HC-05 module using the AT commands. The third chapter summarizes the deign and implementation of the device. Software and firmware development is overviewed in the fourth chapter. The testing and measurement results of the complete device are presented in the last part of this thesis.

Influence of Vehicle Conception on Vehicle Dynamics

Diploma thesis speaks about the influence of vehicle conception on vehicle dynamics, which means how a vehicle behaves in certain typical situations with respect to its driving axle. The first part of this diploma thesis describes the historical background of vehicles, as well as their conceptions and evolutions, with special focus on the conceptions used in the practical element of this work. The second part of this thesis covers the theoretical knowledge of vehicle dynamics and is arranged in a systematic order corresponding to the third section of this work. The third and final chapter then investigates various vehicle conceptions and their dynamics, by running several tests and measurements, in order to make a comparison. This comparison is the main purpose of this work, and from this we can then elucidate which conception, in a certain aspect, is practically more appropriate.

Information Systems Based on a Virtual Filesystem

This term project describes the concept of information system based on the virtual file system and the reasons which led to the creation of this concept. It discusses the basic approaches to solve common parts of the functionality of information system (such as access rights management, structure of data and managing configuration of system) and tries to find the concept that solves this functionality consistently and easily. The main objective of the proposed concept is to create a system that brings simplicity and intuitiveness of user interface, unification of common functionality and maximum flexibility and extensibility. The whole concept is based on the representation of the system as a tree of virtual files on which user performs actions.

Pressure vessels pressurized water reactors

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the development of research on the topic of the pressure vessels of pressurized water reactors. Next is to outline the various design solutions of pressure vessels of pressurized water reactor. The thesis is divided into five chapters, contains 1 chart and 7 graphics. The theoretical part is dedicated to the history of nuclear energy and the development itself in the world. The description of the classifications of nuclear reactors is also included in the theoretical part. Summary of the theoretical part consists of a detailed description of the pressure vessel and pressurized water reactor itself. Practical part of this thesis contains the design of 3D assembly model and its modification in the program Catia V5. The overall model is composed of a main assembly, namely the body of the reactor and sub-assemblies, which were gradually installed.

Water park Brno

Diploma thesis Aquapark Brno is directly connected with the previous specialist course "Sports Center Za Lužánkami Brno". This project dealt was focused on overall concept, architectural and urban study of this area with an emphasis on sports, recreation and relaxation. There was created a zone of predominantly professional sport in the southern part of this area. There were built football and ice hockey stadiums on the newly created terrace/platform. These stadiums are located approximately in the same places as their current (football) or non-existent (hockey) predecessors. The terrace/platform (parking is located under the terrace) continues, and the newly expanded Boby Hotel follows the recreational sports zone with an Aquapark and outdoor sports grounds located behind the existing Tesco shopping centre. There is formed a new park in north of the sports grounds forming a recreational-relaxation zone on the territory of Planýrka. The existing building of a 50 meter swimming pool dominates the area of Aquapark. It was built in 1979 according to the project architect Otakar Oplatek. However this object no longer meets the requirements of today's visitors or athletes. The new building which includes a twenty-five meter tall swimming pool with a background is being added to the existing building. So there is a separable swimming area created here, which can serve both - swimmers and teenagers or professional athletes. There is a good possibility of racing as well. The new building connects eastward to the building of the roofed Aquapark partially hidden beneath the terraces and resting areas. These three through-flowing but mutually separable objects together with the platform define the area of the outdoor aquapark. He is also separate off from the noisy Sportovní street, but it has a sufficient supply of sunlight. Living in a small town, Urban architectural study of developing of housing in the city Uhersky Ostroh. Following student's previous school works dealing generally with problematics of development of city Uherský Ostroh, in diploma thesis will be student focused closely and specifically on housing issues. Analyze potencial opportunities of housing development in the city urbaned structures like not used residental and industrial objects or undeveloped plots inside the city, but with potencial to be suitable for housing function with respect to the ideas of compact city, local values and traditions, but also limited developement potential.
