Past and present Elementary school of Jaroslav Jezek in the context of teaching Czech language

My graduation theses under the title "Past and present Elementary school of Jaroslav Jezek in the context of teaching Czech language" thesis deals with the early education and teaching of visually impaired children in the Private institution for blind children and sick eyes and further it describes the current characteristics and principles of teaching visually impaired children at the elementary school of Jaroslav Jezek. The graduation theses is divided into five chapters. The first chapter deals with the history of education and teaching visually impaired children in the Czech lands. The second chapter summarizes the principles and specifics of teaching and further highlights the importance of touch and compensatory aids during the class. The third chapter follows the influence of reading and the spoken word for children with visual impairments. The fourth chapter deals with the current concept of teaching the Czech language. Development of communication skills for people with learning disabilities

The thesis deals with the possibilities of communication skills development for persons with learning disabilities. Problematics of vocabulary acquirement and the associated cognitive processes are of primary interest of the thesis. Part of the work is a proposal of several practical activities for improvement of these fields, all in agreement with the presented theoretical background. Qualitative study on a sample of 5 tenants of a nursing home was conducted. Subsequent analysis revealed that the nature, implementation and orientation of the proposed tasks is suitable for the clients. The work is based on theoretical findings on key competences, constructivist concept of teaching, organisational forms of teaching and project-based learning, which are then used in the practical part. In the practical part, the thesis aims present the functioning of the project and, based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative research, to present the results of the impact of the "Trade days" project on the development of key competencies and the overlap of this development into the future life of school graduates. Development of communication for pupils at special primary school

The thesis is aimed to development of communication of students at special primary school. Special primary school is creating unique conditions for education of students with lower intellectual competences. The aim of education is equip students by knowledges and skills for integration into the society. The theoretical part of thesis consists of four chapters. The first of them specifies the term mental disability, classifies type of mental retardation, characterizes specific characteristics of person with mental disability and presents possibilities primary education mental disabilited students. The second and the third chapter compare psycho-motion development and ontogenezis of speech to mental handicapped children with children without disability. The fourth chapter characterizes supporting communication methods used in educational process of students with mental disability. The fifth chapter is applied to study. It characterizes chosen school institution and special pedagogical attitude to students and application augmentative and alternative aids. Communication skills of pupils with specific learning disabilities

This work deals with the topic of communication skills of pupils with specific learning disabilities. It is divided into theoretical and practical part and consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, the author deals with specific learning disabilities, attention is paid mainly to four types of specific learning disabilities, namely dyslexia, dysgraphia, dysortography and dyspraxia. The second chapter belongs to the language levels. The third chapter is devoted to the issues of language acquisition by a child. The fourth chapter describes the research itself, which was carried out for this thesis. The research is of a qualitative nature and its main goal is to analyze the communication skills of pupils with specific learning disabilities with a focus on language levels. The research sample consisted of six primary school pupils with specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysortography. The children are in the third and fourth years. The research was carried out in the Vysočina region. Various research methods were used to obtain data, including the use of questionnaires, questions related to the certain text, the test of the ability to create antonyms, words of superiors and subordinate, the test of auditory discrimination between Wepman, Matějček, an unstructured...
