The diploma thesis is concerned requirements for a managers in construction engineering. In the theoretical part I define the terms, which are connected with construction engineering. Definition construction company, enterprise, construction enterprise, management and manager. The practical part is based on four research questions, which were subsequently confirmed or refuted. At the end of the diploma thesis are draw the conclusions and recommendation for construction company.

This thesis analyzes the efficiency of the company with a focus on personal character weaknesses, ie. the organizational structure, competence of manager, combination compensation, system of empleyee appraisal and the stress load at work. It contains proposals for solutions on improving work efficiency through personnel changes.

Preparation for the competition for the position of kindergarten principal

This bachelor's thesis is about the preparation of candidates for open competition for the position of kindergarten principal, especially the creating of concept of the development of the selected school. The theoretical part defines the definition of principal of the school as the statutory representative of the organization. It also describes what kind of principal he should be in order to successfully lead the school, its managerial functions and the overall competency model in the performance of its functions. Thesis defines a definition of the term management and manager as a leader in education. Following chapter explains the conditions under which the director is nominated to the position and what requirements the candidate for the position of manager must meet. The thesis describes the creation of competitive proceedings and its legislative framework, when and under what conditions it can take place. This work highlights the creation of a concept for the development of the organization of consolidated individual kindergartens and describes the definition of the vision of the organization. The influence of managers past in social services in to their profession.

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of the professional past of managers in social services and its influence on the performance of managerial profession. In my thesis I'm dealing with those workers who are currently working in managerial positions and previously worked as social workers. I am interested about how their professional past influenced the performance of their managerial function and how these managers get new managerial competencies. In the theoretical part, I mainly deal with the competencies of social workers, the competencies of managers and then I compare them. I also deal with the acquisition of managerial competencies. In the practical part, I describe the methodology of research surveys and present the results I have reached. The main method is a qualitative research survey using a semi-structured interview. A supplementary method is a quantitative research survey using a questionnaire. In the discussion, I compare these results with available resources. Finally, I reflect the fulfillment of the goals of my thesis and make recommendations.
Competence of Manager in a Non-Profit Organization

The goal of this bachelor´s thesis is to find out how important or necessary are the individual managerial competences for managers of non-profit organizations to perform their work. The first part of the thesis explains the following terms: management, manager, competence of the manager and some links related to these terms. The second part is devoted to a research poll, which was conducted among managers of public benefit corporations registered in South Bohemian Region. The goal was to find out how much importance the managers give to the individual managerial competencies at work for the non-profit organization. The results of the research are compared with the results of another research, which are a part of the publication by author A. Schneider.
Managerial skills

The theoretical basis of this thesis explains the terms closely associated with the management and managerial skills. Introductory part relates to approach the concept itself and the executive management, we are further broken down managerial functions, which are continuously illuminates to describe other skills, such as communication, goal setting, skills and coaching. The main point is to approach the concepts of soft and hard skills that managers should possess, or which should in the course of his practice to learn. Only by careful control of both of these groups of skills can lead to good organization. For a clearer explanation of the managerial skills included graphic view, which approximates the distribution of skills. In the second part, a practical part, described the situation with the existing skills of managers in the selected company. Thanks to the questionnaire, it is possible to measure the current level of acquired skills of managers at three levels and can be evaluated, what is the interest of improving individual skills, or whether managers feel sufficiently qualified for their job positions.
