Topology optimization of crane hook

This final bachelor's thesis discusses the importance of topological optimization in solutions with regard to crane hooks. The thesis deals covers the theoretical part and the computational practical part of a specific crane hook. In the theoretical part, in addition to optimization methods, models, boundary conditions and the softwares, various types of hooks, their construction and properties are examined. In the computational part, the thesis then deals with a specific case of topological optimization of a crane hook, followed by validation and comparison of the obtained results.
Travelling Crab

This work deals with the calculation and suggestion of the main parts of the travelling crab for lifting capacity of 45 000 kg. It consists primarily of determining the ropes, pulleys and cable drum and assigning of appropriate engine, brakes, gearbox and clutch. The work also contains strength calculation and suggested dimensions of main parts of sheave block, like the pin hook block, crossbeam, hook nut and rope pulleys, which are delivered with drawing documentation along with drawing of sheave block and piece list.
Design of crane hook production

The thesis deals with the design of the production of a crane hook made of C45 steel. After evaluating suitable technologies, die forging on a mechanical press was chosen. Based on the analysis of technological technology, the shape of the part was modified and all necessary additions and limit deviations of forging dimensions were determined. The semi-finished product with a diameter of 65 mm and a length of 380 mm will be formed on a cross wedge rolling mill, bent on a separate press and subsequently forged. The crank forging press LZK 3150 B from the company ŠMERAL Brno a. S., With a nominal forming force of 31.5 MN, was chosen from the calculated forming force. The construction of the dies is based on the ČSN 22 8306 standard and they are made of 19,552 steel with subsequent heat treatment.
Crane Block Pulley - Lifting Capacity 10 t

Subject of this thesis is design and calculation of a crane with two pulleys with lifting capacity of 10 tons. In contains solution to design of rope, rope pulleys, cross member of the hook block, pivot pulleys, sidewalls, nut of crane hook and ball bearings. In the next part of work there are descripted individual parts of crane hook block and construction design proposal. In conclusion of the thesis there are technical drawings of selected parts, technical drawing of assembly and bill of items.

The objective of this bachelor´s thesis is design and calculation of crane hook block with lifting capacity 12,5 tons. Work contains description of crane hook block parts and design and proposal of construction solution for a specified capacity. The following part contains design of rope, rope pulleys, strength calculation of cross member of the hook block, axis of pulleys, sidewalls, nut of crane hook and in the finish part are design bearings. Work is completed with attachments of assembly drawing, pieces list and manufacturing drawing of cross member of the hook block.

This work dissert about proposal and calculation hoisting device travelling crab, intended for tonnage 50 000 kg. For this tonnage there're performed pertinent strenght calculations, concerning journal of pullies, side plate, crossbeam and crane hook. Part of work is proposal desirable electric motor, gear - box, brakes, jaw clutch and bearings. In work are also descriptions of hoisting apparatus and descriptions of construction parts of sheave block. Defined are also main dimensions ancillary components for desired hoisting. Work is finished with complete drawing documentation of sheave block travelling crab.

This thesis was created for Bosch Rexroth in order to simplify the lifting work in the manufacturing hall. There was made the construction project of changeable strut devices for lifting loads. The project is comprised of two parts. The first deals with the analytical calculation and the second part consists of a numerical calculation using the finite element method.

The aim of this thesis is the design of crane hook block with a capacity of 16 tons. Pulley block used for lifting and moving loads in a medium heavy-duty use. It is equipped with a simple hook. The crane block is the lower part of the hoist. It is designed to fulfill a load capacity of 25,000 kg, while being safe and as light as possible. The work describes the principle of the hoist. A design solution is chosen in which two ropes are wound on a drum. The calculation of the hoist is in the calculation part, the components of the hoist are further described and calculated, using basic strength calculations. Attached is a drawing of the assembly and important details.

This thesis deals with calculation and proposal hoisting mechanism of travelling crab with lifting capacity of 25 000 kg. In this thesis are proposed elements of rope system, which include rope, pulleys and rope drum. Part of the thesis is also the strength calculation of the sheave block and proposal of individual components of the lifting mechanism drive such as engine, gearbox and brake. The output of this thesis is a drawing documentation including drawing of the sheave block assembly and drawings of selected details.
