The Proposal for Optimalisation of HR Management of a Company

Proposal for Changes of Human Resource Management in a Company

The thesis is focused on human resources management and particular activities of the human resources process. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical starting points, by defining basic concepts and specific HR activities. In the empirical part of the thesis, quantitative research was conducted across the international companies in the B2B market and simultaneously they have the performance of their activities in the territory of the Czech Republic. Then a case study of the selected company was conducted and proposals for improvement in the sub-areas of human resources activities were formulated based on identified problem areas. Furthermore, recommendations for improvement in the field of individual human resources activities are suggested.

Remuneration of teachers in preprimary education

The aim of my thesis is the remuneration of teaching staff in pre-primary education. Remuneration is a part of personnel activities in the organization, so in the introduction of the theoretical part I deal with the general definition of basic terms relating to human resources and personnel work in organizations and here I outline the development and changes in human resources. In the next part of the theory I devote myself mainly to the most important personnel activity, which is remuneration. In addition to describing the basic concepts, the individual forms of remuneration are characterized in detail, both financial and non-financial. In my diploma thesis I deal with them more specifically at the level of pre-primary education and I also describe here the personal activities of the headmistress in kindergarten. The final part deals with the research, whose aim was to map the situation in the area of remuneration and subsequent satisfaction with remuneration, financial and non-financial. The survey was conducted in the form of questionnaires for teaching staff and interviews with two headmistress of kindergartens. Quality of working life related to human resources activities

This thesis analyses the concept of quality of working life related to human resources activities. In the theoretical part, key concepts and related terms are introduced. Then different approaches and categorisations are stated. Individual human resources activities contributing to quality of working life as introduced by Walton are described in the following subchapters. Several examples of research approaches related to quality of working life are stated as well as different means of evaluating and measuring quality of working life. The practical part consists of a research design leading to a questionnaire development measuring quality of working life according to Walton's factors, which were described in detail in the theoretical part.
