The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for the construction of an apartment building in Hradec Králové on U parku street. It is a building with four above-ground and one underground floor. The vertical load-bearing structures are made of Porotherm clay blocks, the horizontal load-bearing structures are made of MIAKO clay floor blocks, placed on ceramic-concrete ceiling joist and filled with concrete. In the basement there are garages for six cars and storage space. There are eleven residential units on the upper floors. The roof is designed as warm flat roof with growing layer.

Children, Youth and Adult Leisure Centre

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the design of a new building of the Leisure center for Children, Youth and Adults. Leisure center is located in Brno in Kralovo Pole on Mojmir’s Square. The building is located in a gap between the two-storey building of the Gymnasium with a gable roof and the five-storey new building of a residential building with a flat roof. The new building fills the whole gap. The plot is slightly sloping towards Košinova Street and is directly connected to the grounds of the Elementary School in Brno, Košinova 22. The overall concept of the design envisages a partial connection of the school with the operation of the leisure center. Thanks to the designed passage, pedestrians can move freely through the garden to Mojmír’s Square. The aim of the proposal is to create a pleasant environment for cultural and other uses with the greatest possible multifunctionality, to suit all groups of visitors. The building has four floors and one underground floor. The underground floor is used for warehouses, technical equipment of the building and changing rooms. On the first floor there is a multipurpose hall, a small café and a leisure center itself. All these parts can work independently of each other thanks to separate entrances. On the second floor there is a bar used for events held in the hall and two classrooms. The whole floor is connected by a corridor with a door. There are classrooms and a living room on the third floor and the fourth floor serves primarily as an access to the generous roof terrace. Flat roofs above the hall and above the fourth floor are designed as extensive green. An interesting facade is a hanging facade consisting of a suspended stainless steel wire mesh, after which a climbing plant will grow Given the world orientation the parthenocissus is a suitable plant for the facade. The purpose of this paper is to prepare the project documentation of the construction part for the building of the houses of hight standard according to the legal decree number 499/2006 Coll. on construction documentation. Projected building is a detached single store buildig located in the village Lelekovice and it is projected for a family of 4 to 5 members. The building includes a garage for three cars.

Kindergarten in Příbor

The subject of this master’s thesis is a project documentation for development of a nursery school. The nursery school is situated on the outskirts of the city Příbor. The school is designed as a two-storey building and includes 4 classrooms, with total capacity reaching 60 pupils. The perimeter wall consists of Porotherm clay block walling system. The ceiling framework uses a combination of two systems; the prestress hollow core slabs Spiroll and reinforced concrete monolithic blocks. The roof is designed as a single skin cladding with a flat, green roof. The external thermal insulation composite system (Etics) is proposed for the insulation of the building. The outer walls are partially cladded with timber. Additionally, the combination of white rendering and timber cladding will form a modern looking building that fits within a new housing development. Furthermore, the plan includes an outside playground, with allotments and parking spaces on the premises for the use of a nursery school.

Kindergarten

The subject of the diploma thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for the construction of a kindergarten in Brno. The main entrance to the building is oriented to the north. The building is L-shaped and is designed as a two-storey, partly basement. There are 3 classes with a total of 72 children. External and internal load-bearing masonry of the above-ground floors is designed from ceramic blocks of thickness 300 mm. The basement masonry is then made of concrete blocks th. 300 mm cast in concrete. Internal non-load-bearing masonry made of ceramic blocks th. 115 mm. The insulation of the building is designed as a certified contact insulation system of EPS material. The horizontal load-bearing structures are designed as a ceramic prefabricated rib-and-filler floor with concrete grout. The stairs are designed as reinforced concrete monolithic. The roof is warm flat roof with an extensive vegetation layer.

Civic amenities building

The aim of my master ‘s thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of kindergarten as nearly zero – energy buildings. The project consists of three parts. The first part (main part) presents the civil engineering design of the building. Kindergarten is single storey-building. The vertical load-bearing structures are designed from lime-sand blocks (above - ground floor) and the hollow concrete blocks filled with C20/25. Horizontal load-bearing structures are designed from the prestressed Spiroll floor panels. The roof consists of a flat roof with extensive greenery. The second part presents technical equipment of buildings. The third part presents acoustic assesment outside Kindergarten. The building site contains also an outdoor playground. I am using AutoCad software for drawing and Deksoft to calculate Energy Performance Certificate. All structures comply with the regulations and valid standards.

Wooden house from CLT panels

This bachelor thesis focuses on design of two-storey wooden house with a basement. The structural system of the house is made from CLT panels- system Novatop. The basement is made of permanent formwork. The facade of a house is insulated with the ETICS system. The facade of the garage forms ventilated facade. The building is roofed by a pitched roof. The roof above the garage is made as a flat extensive green roof. The building is spacious and offers a lot of space for a family of five. The first floor forms the communication part of the house. There is a guest room, bathroom, kitchen with a living room. The living room is connected to an outdoor terrace with a pergola. On the second floor, there are rooms, a bedroom and a special place for reading. In the basement, there is a bolier-room.

The Multifunctional building in Brno Lisen

Bachelors work comes from an atelier project that was worked out during the subject AG035. The content of this Bachelors work is to work out the project documentation for the study of new building multifunctional house. Studied object, new building with polyfunctional use, is part of the city Brno, occurred in the city quarter Líšeň. Part of the project is not only the architectonic object itself but also the solution for its environment. In the Bachelors work is taken into account the placing of the parcel onsteep land or orientation of the house within the frame of cardinal directions. The multifunctional building of this Bachelors work is drawn as a house offering various possibilities of health care – „Health house“. There is situated medical surgery, dental surgery, laboratory or pharmacy. But there is also a commercial space for relaxation or exercise rooms and a coffee room. The object has four floors, two underground floors and two overground floors. The underground floors offer parking of employees and visitors and the technical room is also situated there. The overground floors offer health care and commercial usage. Both overground floors have sanitation provisions and the whole building is barrier free. Concerning the placement of the parcel on a 6 meter landfall, entrance to the building will be possible with the help of a bridge. A ramp placed around the building provides access to the garage. A remarkable feature is the double-skin facade made from lengthwise and crosswise lamellas. Part of this double-skin facade is made of rotatable wooden lamellas, used as a system of rotatable blinds which allows sunlight passing into the building. The Bachelors work addresses the regulation systems, heat and light regulation and the design of an extensive vegetative roof with a skylight.

Multifunctional hall Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou

he assignment is the design of a multipurpose hall in Jaroměřice and Rokytnou. The building object is designed on the land of the former falconry, on which there an athletic oval and a multifunctional playground is situated. Currently, the sports complex does not meet its expectations and is poorly visited. The aim of the proposal is therefore to add suitable and attractive new sports facilities, cultural spaces and places which allow people from the village and the surrounding area to meet. The proposal consists of two buildings, a multi-purpose hall and an accommodation building, which are interconnected by a connecting bridge. The sports hall is a 3-storey building, with two storeys and a basement, the accommodation building is likewise 3-storey building with two storeys and a residential attic. An extensive vegetated roof is proposed on the hall building, while the roof of the accommodation building is designed as a gable roof so that its appearance refers to its purpose. In terms of mass, there are two shapes in the area, a cubic cuboid shape - the multifunctional hall and a five-angled longitudinal cuboid - the accommodation building. The buildings are unified by an offset façade of timber slats. The load-bearing system of the building of the multifunctional hall is made of glued timber frame structures. The buildings are designed so that various activities, whether sporting or cultural, can take place in their premises. In the hall there is a cafeteria, a large hall, small halls, a gym, catering facilities, changing rooms or technical and sanitary facilities. The accommodation building contains rooms, storage areas, technical facilities and laundry. The buildings are designed as barrier free and wheelchair accessible. Buildings. By their positioning on the site, the buildings form a corner adjacent to the adjacent streets. The buildings respect the urban structure of the streets. The design also works to preserve as much of the original greenery on the site as possible and adds several new trees to this existing greenery. Overall, therefore, the proposal extends the potential of the sports complex and offers it a wider use and new meaning.
