Assessment of workplace production line

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the current state of knowledge in the design of production lines and assessing the selected production line. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the characteristic of production as a key proces in the company and the description of how to construct the design of the production system, the familiarisation with the essence and selected tools of lean manufacturing and ergonomics as a discipline occupied with adaptation of working conditions to a person’s performance capabilities. The practical part of the thesis includes a description of the assembly line for the production of lamellar grates at AHORN CZ, s.r.o, and an engonomic analysis of the workplace of the production line which also includes measures proposed on the basis of the findings followed up by evaluation and recommendations for practise.

Adéla Slámová Title: Possibilities for the use of physiotherapy approaches in correction of university students' stress postural attitude Subtitle: The comparison of compensatory exercise and apparatus therapy Abstract: This bachelor thesis examines the current issue of overloading young population due to overuse of modern technologies and permanent exposure of non-ergonomic spine positions. The bachelor thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part explains terms such as posture, postural stabilization and stability. The faulty posture, the cause and the consequences are described in detail. Furthermore, the section summarizes the existing literature on posture diagnostics, ergonomics and prevention. The practical part processes four university student case reports on the subject's posture. The main method of data collection was rating by Klein, Thomas and Mayer. The aim of this study is to compare the effects of compensatory exercise with those of device therapy Upright Go on students with faulty posture. The main finding of this study is that compensatory exercise has a greater positive effect on posture than device therapy. Ergonomics and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders in dentistry - focusing on dentists and dental hygienists

The aim of this work is to describe the issue of ergonomics in dental practice and evaluate its compliance among Czech dentists and dental hygienists. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with risk factors affecting dental practice and the consequences of non-compliance with correct ergonomics. Furthermore, it deals with ergonomic aspects from the individual positions of the dentist or dental hygienist, through the ergonomic arrangement of the work place to the appropriate working time layout with regular breaks used, inter alia, for performing stretching and compensation exercises. In the practical part, the working conditions and habits of dentists and dental hygienists were mapped on the basis of the questionnaire in terms of ergonomics and their awareness of ergonomics was ascertained. Furthermore, the occurrence of musculoskeletal problems associated with the performing of their profession was mapped and the results compared with domestic and foreign studies. In combination with literature information, educational material was created as an output, showing release, stretching, and compensation exercises to balance muscle imbalances.

Design of Security X-ray Baggage Scanner

The goal of this diploma thesis is designing a medium-sized security x-ray machine used predominantly for screening cabin luggage and middle-sized parcels. The introductory section of the thesis concentrates on general overview of the whole field through analyses of the design and technical parameters of typical products. The latter part of the thesis is concentrated on the designing a new product using the knowledge base and information obtained within the research. The final product is designed with respect to ergonomic and technical requirements, nevertheless it represents a new perspective on the topic.

Helitronic Power 400 – machine inclusion to series production

This diploma thesis was focused on implementation of CNC tool grinder Helitronic Power 400 into serial production on flowing assembly. In the first part, optimization methods were described, which are used in practice as a tool for increasing the productivity and profitability of the company. The practical part was focused on the inclusion of the machine into serial production and on processes connected with the implementation.

Petr Havlena Title: Analysis of ergonomic sitting position and design of ergonomic seat for hemiparetic patients Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with sitting ergonomics and summarizes basic parameters of ergonomic chair, which are created for patients with hemiparesis. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part is described in detail the vascular supply of the brain, vascular disease, stroke and its clinical images. Furthermore, the concept of ergonomics is explained and the ergonomics of sitting are taken into account. The parameters for the ergonomic chair are based on the THERAPIA chair, so it is introduced in the theoretical part. In the practical part are processed two case reports of hemiparetic patients, which describe their sedation. The aim of this work is to create basic parameters of ergonomic chair for hemiparetic patients, which are based on studied ergonomics of the sitting and from the examination performed in patients. of the Thesis: Bachelor thesis addresses the practice of alternative use control of computer for people after damage in C5 spinal area. The aim is to provide an ergotherapeutic perspective on the use of alternative MyVoice and MyDictate programs in terms of work efficiency and job ergonomics. The theoretical part deals with the issue of spinal lesions and provides information about the client's clinical picture with lesions in the C5 segment and the functional impact of the diagnosis on everyday life. Furthermore, the work focuses on the issue of employment of a person with disability in the Czech Republic. Thesis provides the possibility of occupational therapy intervention for clients after damage of spinal cord in the C5 area with respect to the ergonomics of work place. It describes the basic criteria that are discussed in this area. The conclusion of the theoretical part presents possibilities of alternative computer control for people with motor deficiency. The practical part deals with the issue of computer control and ergonomic arrangement of work place for three clients with lesions in the C5 spinal area. Tato publikace, která je určena pracovníkům pověřených k plnění úkolů v oblasti prevence rizik, shrnuje nejnovější poznatky z oblasti ergonomie pracovního místa získané jak výzkumem v této oblasti, tak i převzetím řady zkušeností ze zahraničí. Práce srozumitelným způsobem rozebírá jednotlivé prvky pracovního systému, hodnotí je, uvádí do kontextu s požadavky současných právních předpisů a předkládá praktická doporučení pro zlepšení nedostatků často se objevujících na našich pracovištích. Účelem této publikace je tedy umožnit zavádění ergonomických zásad týkajících se pracovního místa do praxe, upozornit na jeho podstatné prvky, jako jsou například pracovní stůl, sedadlo či pomůcky, a z hlediska pracovního prostředí blíže upozornit na faktory, které zásadním způsobem ovlivňují pracovní podmínky (např. mikroklimatické podmínky, osvětlení, ale i psychická zátěž a další).
