Alferiová, Diana ; Hadrabová, Alena (advisor) ; Dvořák, Antonín (referee)
Efficiency of subsidies which aim at improving of environment quality in Czech Republic we evaluate through the use of regressive analysis and we pursue dependence between environmental protection government expenditures in Euro per capita and % of GDP in years 1996 -- 2008 and total greenhouse gas emissions of selected countries of EU in years 1998 -- 2008. The results show us that expenditures of GDP are better index for efficiency evaluation of subsidies, which confirms the importance of economic performance, though I supposed that expenditures in Euro per capita have more significant part.

Chytilová, Petra ; Hubinková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Kašparová, Eva (referee)
This work deals with the use of modern communication and social networks in Czech companies - wheather the modern networks improve the efficiency of workers. And than there is a comparison of Czech companies with foreign companies in the networking opportunities for business and marketing purposes. I set out two hypotheses: hypothesis 1: The effectiveness of employee labor increases with the use of communication and social networks during working hours and hypothesis 2: In contrast to foreign companies in the Czech Republic do not support the use of communication and social networks for marketing and other business purposes. To determine the situation on the Czech market, I have used the questionnaire, whose outputs are first analyzed and then compared with researches on similar or identical topics. The conclusion is that the usage of modern communication and social networks in Czech companies is underused and poor in contrast with foreign firms.

Dlouhá, Pavlína ; Srpová, Jitka (advisor) ; Matěnová, Alena (referee)
Renewable energy resources in the Czech Republic, especially photovoltaics, have experienced a great boom in the past few years. The investment in the photovoltaic plants has been and will be a very promising field for investors unless too many legislative barriers are adopted to make the investments unattractive. This diploma thesis therefore elaborates a real world business case of a solar power plant. Within the business case a sensitivity analysis is being made to evaluate the influences of external factors that may have a major impract on the effectiveness and returnability of the project. Conclusions made in the analysis help to make the desicion whether to realize or not to realize the project.
Efficiency of supervisory process ÚOHS and NKÚ in public procurement
Čechová, Lucie ; Pavel, Jan (advisor) ; Kučerová, Zuzana (referee)
This thesis deals with the situation in public procurement processes in the Czech republic. It mainly focus on supervisory process and it's efficiency. It defines general terms which are connected with this topic. It gives a brief characterictic of main supervisory bodies - Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad and Úřad pro ochranu hospodářské soutěže. Data, which were important for the analysis, were obtained through my personal research by using the law of providing information. This research was oriented on subjects, which according to supervisory bodies did not proceed the public procurement processes as they should and in case of ÚOHS on subjects which got a fine. The main purpose of the research was to find out if they took any steps to avoid this situation again in the future. The results were analyzed and compared with data which were published in Bachan (2009). Unfortunately there is not any improvement and the efficiency of the supervisory process is still bad.
