Nomination of persons by their activity in the Russian language in a confrontation with the Czech language
Hendrych, Jaromír ; Nazarenko, Liliya (advisor) ; Liptáková, Zuzana (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with Nomination of persons by their activity in the Russian language in a confrontation with the Czech language. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with ways of creating words and motivations of nomination of persons by their activity in the Russian language and the Czech language. It also analyses word-formation in both the languages. The practical part of this bachelor thesis deals with already specific comparisons of typology of nomination in terms of word-formation categories of nomination of persons by their activity in the Czech language and the Russian language e.g. productive ways of word-formation, productive formants in both the languages (prefixes, suffixes etc.) and their differences. There is also a question of gender inflection of nomination of persons by their activity between the Russian language and the Czech language that this bachelor thesis deals with. Derivative and its application in high school mathematics with use of Internet.
Trnka, Karel ; Robová, Jarmila (advisor) ; Odvárko, Oldřich (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to create derivative-focused web pages as a new part of a high school mathematics educational web portal. The web portal is operated by the Department of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague. It is primarily intended as an additional learning resource for high school students. The diploma thesis consists of two main parts. The first part describes a search for and evaluation of similar web pages in Czech, Slovak, English and Hebrew, which deal with the topic of derivative. The second part details the creation of new web pages. In creating the web pages the author integrated interactive elements based on JavaScript, and interactive applets created with use of GeoGebra software. To display mathematical expressions on the web, the author used the technology MathJax, which works with languages of the typesetting systems TeX and LaTeX.
Diminutive Suffixation in Spanish
Zemanová, Simona ; Kratochvílová, Dana (advisor) ; Čermák, Petr (referee)
in English: Diminutive Suffixation in Spanish The present paper addresses the topic of diminutive suffixation in Spanish and different ways of its translation to Czech. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is concerned with the typology of Spanish and Czech diminutive suffixes, their meaning and usage in the present day Spanish and Czech. The second part is dedicated to a corpus analysis based on the examples excerpted from the parallel language corpus InterCorp. The research focuses on the suffix -ito/a as it is the most commonly used diminutive suffix in the Hispanic world. The analysis is done on three parts of speech: nous, adjectives and adverbs. Subsequent translation analysis deals with the most frequent diminutives of these parts of speech and concludes that Czech tends to express certain values of Spanish diminutives through other means. Key words: diminutives, suffix, corpus, derivation, morphology, Spanish
Rationality of the Debtor
Procházka, Ivan ; Tuček, Milan (advisor) ; Kuchař, Pavel (referee)
This work deals with the indebtedness of consumers. It examines the causes of the debotrs themselves. Based on a secondary analysis of past research in the area of financial literacy, consumer behavior, statistical data, but also of qualitative research in the form of case study seeks to answer the question why the debtor becomes the debtor, the extent to which the indebtedness and indebtedness viewed as rational behavior but also if the debtor is accompanied by rational reasoning or irrational behavior. It concludes that the debtor can not be considered entirely rational. Applied policy then the issue of over-indebtedness problem takes into account the irrational assumptions by the debtor only marginally and does not reflect as one of its main causes.
Feminization of agentive nouns in present-day French
Rytinová, Aneta ; Štichauer, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Loucká, Hana (referee)
(in English) The major aim of the thesis is to investigate the different ways of making feminine equivalents to masculine names of professions, titles and ranks based on the data acquired from French and Canadian press archives. Furthermore, the study explores the history of certain frequent feminine forms to analyse the evolutionary changes and, in particular, presents the view of the French-speaking public on this matter. The data collected from the press were compared to the hypothesis and consequently the most occurring feminine forms were selected. In addition, the possible factors causing or preventing the feminization of names are examined in this study. The objective of the questionnaire is to analyse responses depending on the age, gender, and origin of the tested subjects, and to provide an overview of the current trends.
French Lexical Borrowings in Conterporary Bulgarian Language
Georgievová, Jana ; Gladkova, Hana (advisor) ; Nisheva Nikolova, Bozhana (referee)
This Bachelor thesis is focused on lexical items of French origin in contemporary Bulgarian language. These items are being analyzed lexically, phonetically, morphologically and semantically, this analysis shows their adaptation and assimilation process into the Bulgarian language system. Historical, social and cultural causes of French lexical borrowings in Bulgarian are part of the research as well. Language material of the research is based on the Bulgarian dictionary of foreign words (Пернишка, Е. и кол. Речник на чуждите думи в българския език.Наука и изкуство, София 2007).
Causes and consequences of heavy households indebtedness

Bachelor thesis Causes and consequences ofheavy household indebtedness deals over the issue of indebtedness of households in the Czech Republic. Finding the causes and examines the implications of this present phenomenon. The first part defines the trend of household heavy indebtedness, which is almost ten years, an upward trend, and that brings along the risk of insolvency. For each of them analyzes its interests, behavior, the relationship with other stakeholders, but also the possibility of interference with the issue. Finally, it summarizes all the findings and describes the interaction between various stakeholders.
Automatic Categorization of Unknown Words Based on Derivational Relations
Faltusová, Marie ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the construction of a system for automatic classification of~unknown words based on derivation bonds. For this purpose, the system was designed to~extract derivative links based on electronic dictionaries and to create word-forming models from them. Based on this knowledge, it is then possible to incorporate unclassified words into existing nests formed from the obtained bonds, and their models, or create new ones. The reader will be gradually acquainted with the reasons that lead to the continuous transformation or expansion of the lexicon, the ways in which the words in~the~Czech language are derived and how to obtain information about the changes caused by this derivation process. This system builds on and extends the research of the branch of morphology in~the~project of a morphological analyzer of the Research Group of Knowledge Technologies, working at the Faculty of Information Technology of the Brno University of~Technology.
Propedeutics of differential and integral calculi
Malachov, Martin ; Halas, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Slavík, Antonín (referee)
Propaedeutics of Differential and Integral Calculi Author: Ing. Martin Malachov Department: Department of Mathematics Education Supervisor: Zdeněk Halas, DiS., Ph.D. Department of Mathematics Education Keywords: propaedeutics, derivative, Riemann integral, applications Differential and integral calculi both are interesting and beautiful branches of mathematics with many interdisciplinary overlaps and significant and practi- cal applications. Learning as well as teaching of these topics is very difficult and demanding. In this thesis we show that the derivatives and integrals have much to offer in the high school education while the schooling can be eased and made attractive with intentional propaedeutics and knowledge of rich background of applications. First part of the thesis presents short contem- plation on the current state of teaching and literature, we focus on the urge for the propaedeutics of the differential and integral calculi revealed by us. We identify key terms that can be used to build useful preconcepts during the whole high school education, even in the elementary education. In the latter part of the thesis we offer teacher innovative texts and a rich set of origi- nal exercises that can be used for motivation, application and propaedeutics of the differential and integral calculi. We also present...
