Creating a classroom climate with a pupil with a specific behavioral disorder.

The dissertation thesis is aimed at two mutually affecting topics - classroom climate and students suffering from the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Theoretical part of the thesis deals with the specifics of the ADHD and with the issue of educating students suffering from the disorder. The theoretical part also deals with the issue of classroom climate and its participants: teachers, students and their parents. The final part of the theory comments on the experts dealing with the participants of classroom climate; the members of school counselling centres. The empirical part of the thesis presents two-part qualitative research aimed at the question of the influence of the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) on the classroom climate. The second part of the research was oriented to the influence of a student suffering from the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) on other factors creating classroom climate. The outcome of the first research is represented by the multiple case study of students suffering from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), based on semi-structured interviews with students, their parents, teachers and other educational staff involved in the educational process in school. The outcome of the second research is represented by the case study of a classroom attended by students suffering from the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
The Family Influence over Choosing an Occupation of Elementary School Pupils

RESUME The times based on one individual's decision about which school to study to be able to choose further continuous and smooth career path has been over. As a result of current global and local social changes everybody should be prepared to the every possible change in career. Nevertheless the first choice of career is still an important milestone and can direct the individual career, but it is not the only key milestone, that determines the individual career once and for ever. People in contemporary world should be able to respond quickly to constant changes, evaluate new situations and be able to make the right decisions. The widespread myth is that success means to raise money as quickly as possible to guarantee the freedom and happiness. But a real success is a contented life, which is a long way over such values as for example certainty that we are doing the work that we like and which fills us with satisfaction. Individual goal is to focus on the abilities and skills so that the decision directs to such a career path where one will be able to optimally exploit one's potential in a future career. Cooperation of family and school at the beginning of schooling

Name: Cooperation of family and school at the beginning of schooling Author: Dušková, T. Supervisor: Mgr. Kargerová, J., Ph.D. The diploma thesis is focused on the cooperation of family and school at the beginning of schooling. The theoretical part describes the school and the family as the institutions that have an irreplaceable position in a life of child. It offers a view into the history and its forms of cooperation and aims which were reached in compare with today's understanding of the child and childhood. It deals with 1989 and its events which influenced the politic, economic and pedagogic situation - the child is in the middle of the family a school attention. The education is innovated, reformatted and new laws together with some new school programmes are issued. The theoretical background is finished by a description of Začít spolu program, its brief characteristic and concrete forms of cooperation with families. The empiric part surveys the situation in an ordinary school and the school worked according to the Začít spolu program. It compares their elementary and secondary levels and it offers some recommendations for better family-school cooperation.
Communication between family and school

This diploma thesis draws attention to the issue of communication between school and family and tries to not only teach the communication, but also to find the state of communication between family and school at a particular workplace. The aim of the theoretical part was to clarify the concept of education with an emphasis on educational activities at school. It stands that the family, as an indispensable part, is crucial in communication relation to the pupil. The current school concept is discussed and the key competencies related to communication are mentioned.A special chapter is devoted to the pupil and the specifics of his personality during adolescence. Furthermore, in the theoretical part, a special chapter is dedicated to the teacher as one of the important partners in the communication between the school and the family. The last chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to communication. In the practical part of the diploma thesis, we find out what is the opinion about the communication in the given school, the pupils side as well as the family's side. There were assumptions made about the state and needs of communication between the school and the family. This was determined by the method of quantitative exploration. In conclusion, the results are evaluated.
Tale as a musical integrativ project for preschoolers and their parents (creation, authentication, methodological ideas into practice)

Author's fairy tale with a musical theme as a means to improve cooperation and kindergarten is the main aim of the thesis. The musical development of the child until the end of the preschool age and its subsequent response opens the theoretical part, musical ability - characteristics, creativity, integration of musical abilities, integrative design, and creative dramatics conclude the theoretical part, which will be followed by a practical part. The practical part will consist of architectural scenario where a subsequent analysis of the Copyright scenarios, questionnaires, interviews and observations will serve as a result of the thesis.

Problematic issues of home schooling

This work deals with the general issue of homeschooling, particularly the negative aspects that can bring this type of education. At first the theoretical part gives the definition of basic and advanced terms and subsequently the approach of the topic including legislative measures and implementation of homeschooling in the Czech Republic and also in other European and non-European countries. Consequently, analyzes the potential pitfalls of individualized education. The practical part is focused on the specific experience of people who are involved in the homeschooling. This part is processed through interviews with graduates of this form of education, their parents and through communication with the school. The aim of this work is to explain the issue, the motives that lead parents to choose this form of education and to critically analyse all the negatives associated with homeschooling.
