Partnership of persons after a spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury

This bachelor thesis aims to provide an insight into the current situation regarding the people suffering from brain damage or spinal cord injury and the impact of such disability on their partner life. The main focus of the study is to highlight the patient's problems connected with partner life, summary of the occupational therapy intervention possibilities for patients and the evaluation of tool portfolio designed to provide a positive utility in partner life. In addition, the theoretical part discusses the insight of both patients and experts on the basic problems in partner life based on the various stage and form of disability as well as the description of therapeutic tools created to help with these disabilities. The research part is devoted to the interviews with patients who suffer from spinal cord injury or brain damage and address their difficulties from the perspective of occupational therapists. TITLE: Learning strategies of students at high school SUMARRY: The bachelor thesis is focused on learning strategies of students at high school with learning disabilities. The task of the theoretical part is to describe principles, methods and compensation aids. The theoretical part I drew from the scientific literature. The aim of my thesis is to reveal learning strategies which students use. I have achieved the aim by using my survey and case studies. Occupational therapy intervention for children with Rett syndrome

This thesis deals to occupational therapy intervention for children with Rett syndrome. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe Rett syndrome and summary of occupational therapy interventions for girls with this disease. The thesis is divided into two parts. One is theoretical and the other is practical. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of Rett syndrome, its diagnosis, symptoms and 5 stages of the syndrome. The theoretical part describes the methods by which is possible to work with girls with Rett syndrome through the occupational therapy. The practical part contains two case studies of girls with this diagnosis. Elements of this theoretical methods and their interpretation were used in medical treatment of this girls. Practical knowledges show us that individual approach is important for the patient and so it is neccessary to use individually determined treatment plan.
