Ingrid Kurz and her Contribution to the Development of

The MA thesis Ingrid Kurz and her Contribution to the Development of the Theory of Interpreting is a descriptive theoretical study dealing with the work of the conference and television interpreter, Interpreting Studies scholar and professor of Translation Studies at University of Vienna Ingrid Kurz, born Pinter. This thesis analyses individual stages of her research and looks into the development of her opinions and interests, which can be followed chronologically in her articles, studies and extensive publications. It also informs on teaching and interpreting projects of this researcher and, last but not least, reflects her contribution in the area of interdisciplinary cooperation. The interconnection of psychological and interpreting education inspired her towards the first experiments in the field of simultaneous interpreting. The understanding of digital education on elementary school and its cceptance amongs the pupils

5 ABSTRACT The diploma thesis deals with the topic of digital education at primary school and its acceptance among pupils. The project is an inspiring attempt to link formal and informal education in the learning process. This study has become an inspiration for making digital teaching more effective and developing digital literacy for primary school pupils. The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters, which deal with the area of cognitive development of early school age children, digital education and digital technologies used in teaching. The knowledge from the professional literature in the theoretical part is the basis for the practical part, which through the creation of two educational geolocation games researches the development of individual digital competencies on a sample of two classes. The aim of this work is to find out how digital literacy and its individual competences can be developed in the primary school with respect to the age and cognitive development of pupils. On the basis of qualitative research in the form of observation, field notes and recording sheets, it was possible to analyze the basic level of development of individual digital competencies at elementary schools. The master´s thesis is focused on aphasia as a speech disorder. Aphasia is an element of research in many fields of study. The aim of this thesis is to interpret academic background and conclusions. Aphasiology, linguistics, speech therapy, neurology, neurolinguistics, psycholinguistics, cognitive psychology and cognitive neuropsychology are interested in aphasia. At the beginning of this thesis we can read about aphasia, its causes, classifications and diagnostics. Other chapters summarize conclusions of mentioned disciplines.

Cognitive continuity in relation to the customer

In my Bachelor thesis I will present mind mapping which is a relatively less known method that enables initiation and capturing individual appropriately focused thought processes, content and structure of individual employees who are working in the sales department. These empolyees are on a daily basis in contact with the customer. The content of the notion that I was in the organization decided to investigate is the CUSTOMER. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to find out how individual employees perceive the concept of customer. The results of qualitative research by the mental mapping method will bring important associations about the concept of customer, which will be spontaneously reflected in the mind of the worker. In every way executive management needs to know what the employees are spontaneously thinking about the customer in order to improved customer care.
Aspects of Data Visualization in Business Intelligence

The thesis's primary focus is the visualization of data in Business Intelligence with broader ramifications because the framework defined here will be useful for making any design layout. It describes the cognitive aspects of perception for visualization and with this understanding the thesis will be able to summarize the rules which are necessary for right and functional design. The goal of design is to provide the information in the most understandable way. The author has surveyed individuals to find out how people are familiar with the rules for designing and the style of visualization that people prefer. The last part of this thesis is focused on the implementation of the findings with the ultimate goal to suggest a new BI reporting system. Being able to list and verify the rules of visualization on the path to implementation is the main benefit of this work.
User Experience and use knowledge of cognitive science

This bachelor thesis is focused on cognitive psychology and its use in creating web pages. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part explains the concept and the development of cognitive psychology, paid the attention to human processes and their application to the website. In the thesis are mentioned concepts of user experience and usability testing. The practical part is devoted to a home page that is based on principles contained in the thesis. The location of the individual elements on the page are detailed described and the quality of the website is verified by usability test.
Cognitive - Psychological approaches to solving problems and their teaching apprehension

The work deals with the cognitive - psychological approaches to problem solving and proposal of methodologies of use these approaches to solve problems in preschool children. The theoretical part introduces with cognitive - psychological approaches to solving problems, in particular with the approach to solving search problems using the same analogies. Further the work presents the theory of cognitive development of preschool children with a tendency toward one of them, the use of knowledge in Framework Education Programme early childhood education and with development of competencies to problem solving in preschool children. The practical part of the proposes a methodology of the development of competencies to solve the problem by searching analogies among preschool children.
