Rok obhajoby: 2012 Anotace: V diplomové práci se autorka shrnuje dostupné poznatky o moderním kariérním poradenství, na nějž autorka nahlíží jako na dynamicky se vyvíjející poradenskou disciplínu. Kariérní poradenství hledá nejen optimální spojení jedinec-práce, ale také pomáhá jedinci prozkoumat a sledovat jeho profesní a osobní zájmy, stejně jako ho učí být manažerem vlastní profesní kariéry. Praxe kariérního poradenství nabízí pomocnou ruku jedinci v jeho potřebě hledání optimálního pracovního uplatnění v průběhu celého jeho života. Neméně významná je funkce kariérního poradenství v rukou státu, jakožto nástroje snižování dopadů nejistot trhu práce na nejohroženější skupiny jedinců. Dalšího významu kariérní poradenství nabývá v práci personalistů, pracovníků outplacementu a poradců pracujících se specifickými skupinami. Práce nastínila problematiku žen, jakožto specifické skupiny klientů kariérního poradenství. The Choice of an Appropriate Subject of Study Through Practical Experience

This text concentrates on career decision making of high school students aspirating to university studies. The emphasis is on practical work experience as a specific aspect of career counselling. The goal of the thesis is to examine the role of a practical experience inthe scope of career decision making. The thesis first offers a theoretical grounding of the topic.The empirical part includes a detailed description of a project, the aim of which was to arrange for students an opportunity for a practical work experience within the field they are interested in studying. Choice of secondary school as prevention of unemployment

The aim of the diploma thesis was to discover the main factors which influence students of the ninth grade regarding the choice of next education level. Analysis was made to decide how important the factors are for students when they choose studies, e.g. results of students at half year report and the distance between school and place of living, also whether students can assess their condition for profession of their choice, if students have thought about their future regarding life and profession. Also analysis of social surroundings was made to find out to what extent students are influenced by family, friends, teachers and pedagogical - psychological consultants. I am tried to clarify how the education level of parents, wishes of parents and friends influence students and whether this choice is influenced by teachers and educational consultants or by pedagogical - psychological consultants. The whole thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with description of basic concepts. The concepts are linked with problematic of employment of youth and school graduates. Career counselling in French "bilan de compétences" approach

The theoretical part of the diploma thesis presents some selected approaches to career counseling with emphasis on the French method bilan de compétences . This method is based on an approach that combines the competence analysis, psychological assessment, individual empowerment and career counseling. Finally, a resumé of most in uential research studies examining mental processes active during this method is presented. Results of the research study conducted on a sample of 31 (28-49 years) unemployed, participants of a six week bilan de compétences programme are presented in the second part of the thesis. We measured the evolution of self-e cacy, locus of control and psychological well-being during the programme. These variables were measured in three phases: prior to the programme, at the end of the programme and on month following the end of the programme. At the end of the programme participants showed signi cantly higher level of self-e cacy and psychological well-being as compared to the situation before the start of the programme. One month after its end, however, values returned to its original level. We also examined relationship between satisfaction with the programme, level of acquired knowledge and observed psychological variables. No signi cant relationship was discovered. Results...
Analýza programu Nestlé Kariérní poradenství pro univerzitní studenty a čerstvé absolventy

The main goal of the thesis is to analyse the current situation of Nestlé Career Counselling program and make proposals which would lead to the increasing quality of this program. The thesis also stated to secondary aims. The thesis is structured into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of this thesis aims at mapping the theoretical background of Career Counselling. It is divided into two chapters. The First chapter describes the theoretical framework of Career Counselling including history of Career Counselling and Current Situation also describing the characteristics of Generation Y. The Second chapter describes Types of Career Counselling concentrating on Institutional and Corporate Career Counselling. The Practical part is also divided into two chapters. First the company Nestlé is described, including also the history and Nestlé needs youth initiative. The Last chapter deals with Nestlé Counselling, the development of the program is mapped and analysed. Furthermore, the analysis of statistical date and students´ survey were conducted. Finally, the SWOT analysis of the program is done and there have been made proposals for the year 2016.
The Psychological Influence of Losing One´s Employment

The main goal of my thesis is to assess the psychological infuence of losing employment. In the first part of my thesis are processed theoretical knowledges regarding unemployment and carrer counselling. In the second part of my thesis I performed a questionnaire research in employment agency in České Budějovice and Písek and analysed unemployment and its impact on people who are fifty and more years old.
