Kordula, Lukáš ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis titled "Air Conditioning for an Auto Salon with Workshop" focuses on designing an air conditioning system for an auto salon with a workshop for cars located in Brno. For the facility, we have designed two air conditioning units, with one serving the auto salon and the other serving the car workshop. The unit for the auto salon aims to cool during the summer months and heat during the winter, while for the workshop, the goal was to extract harmful emissions from the workshop environment. The thesis employs methods for designing air conditioning systems, including selecting suitable equipment. The outcome of the thesis comprises two proposals for air conditioning units tailored to the needs and conditions of the auto salon and workshop environment, with an emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability. The theoretical part focuses on acoustics in HVAC systems. The computational part addresses the individual steps necessary for designing the air conditioning unit. Software tools used in the design include Teruna and AeroCad. The project part develops the necessary project documentation within the specified scope.

Rosič, Jan ; Klement, Miloš (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the development of documentation for a building permit and part of the documentation for the construction of the Volkswagen Group car center building. The proposal is directly based on the assignment of the subject BGA021 – Studio of production buildings, and follows on from the studio project processed in the winter semester of the second year. The new building is located in the Brno-Komárov district, at the intersection of Hněvkovského and Sokolova streets, and its location makes use of a lucrative position. The car center building combines a service and showroom with an administrative part. With its internal arrangement, it effectively separates these two different operations so that they do not interfere with each other and at the same time they can cooperate. Exterior, on the other hand, tries to connect these operations into a seamless whole. This is to be achieved by the repetitive verticality freely transitioning from the shading system of the showroom to the copilite glazing of the service. The internal layout of both parts of the building is designed taking into account the rapid development of the automotive industry and is maximally flexible. The showroom is intended as a monumental elevated space with an exposed roof structure and a minimum of fixed elements. The service is similarly designed as an open workshop area, only unclean or noisy operations and storage areas are separated.

There is also a scrap metal purchase and warehouse. The plot is currently registered as an area intended for construction by production. The plot is located on flat terrain. The proposed object responds to the required functions. It is oriented perpendicular to Jiráskova Street, the main entrances are oriented to the main street towards the built-up part of the city. The building is located longitudinally on the plot and corresponds to its shape. It consists of three objects that are interconnected. Individual objects have their own function. The first building is adapted and designed mainly for sales and car show purposes. This is the most dominant building. It is followed by a significantly smaller and partially hidden storage area, which also includes facilities for employees and hygiene loops. In the last, rear part is the service. This is the second dominant part, highlighted by an illuminated expanded metal facade. The main material on the building is concrete, which is in line with the industrial character of the building and its surroundings. The façade is made of Cetris cement-fiber boards, which resemble the structure of white concrete. In the service building, the facade is solved with an openwork facade made of expanded metal, under which there is a smooth lime-cement plaster of white color. Concrete structures are also copied into the interior, especially by the recognized load-bearing elements in the individual parts.
