Introducing compliance with the TISAX standard into the company
Design and optimization of the hydraulic suspension model
Variable compression ratio for spark-ignition four-cylinder engine
Rada, Jan ; Fridrichová, Kateřina (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
The automotive industry faces pressure to increase engine efficiency and reduce emissions. One promising solution is the implementation of variable compression ratio technology, which allows for the dynamic adjustment of the engine's compression ratio according to operating conditions, thereby improving efficiency, saving fuel, and reducing emissions. This thesis focuses on the analysis and design of a four-cylinder spark-ignition engine with variable compression ratio technology. The work compares the baseline engine with the modified engine in terms of installation space and weight, incorporating theoretical foundations of variable compression ratio and practical aspects of its implementation. The introductory part includes a literature review on variable compression ratio engines, followed by the conceptual design of the engine and an analysis of the crank mechanism. The main part of the thesis is the design, which aims to maximize the use of components from the original engine. The resulting kinematic and force analyses support the potential of this technology for developing more efficient engines.
Utilization of Digital Twins in Automotive
Horuta, Šimon ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Repka, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the utilization of digital twins in automotive industry. In the introduction, the concept of a digital twin is defined and then Industry 4.0 technologies used by digital twins are described. Furthermore, several examples of their application in the automotive industry are given. In the practical part, a simulation of a braking maneuver in virtual environment is performed and the functionality of this model is verified by real driving tests. As a result of the practical part, the graphs from the simulation and the real driving are compared.
Utilization of Financial Analysis as a Tool for Investment Decisions
Homola, Jakub ; Bednář, Rostislav (referee) ; Ptáček, Roman (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the evaluation of the six largest companies in the automotive industry, in the period 2018-2023. This work is divided into three parts. In the first part, the key financial analysis tools for comparing companies are found. In the practical part, these tools are part of selected companies and comparisons between companies. In the design part, companies in the best financial situation are selected, from which a fictitious portfolio is subsequently compiled.
Design of a slope generator for LIN bus transceiver with controlled slopes
Šlechta, Adam ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (advisor)
This thesis deals with the introduction of the basic types of communication protocols in the automotive industry. It then looks in detail at the LIN communication protocol, which is characterized by its high EMC requirements. The thesis thus contains a description of the principles of electromagnetic radiation. Then the thesis describes the design of LIN driver in the old I4Te technology and proposes its modification for the new technology. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the design of several blocks of the LIN driver. Namely, a DA converter and an input follower.
Load simulator according to ISO 11452 and CISPR25 for a headlamp for EMC testing
Drápal, Ladislav ; Růžek, Václav (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis with the design of a Load simulator, which will be used during measurements in the EMC chamber. The Load simulator contains a total of five output levels. The diploma thesis solves outputs for directional lights and output for position light. The Load simulator consists of an analog solution of the PWM generator. By assembling a pulse width modulation generator on a solderless field, the basic functionality of the circuit was verified. The measured parameters were compared with the simulated ones. The basic scheme of the PWM generator was expanded with additional components, and an optical control output was created outside the PWM generator. By placing the printed circuit board in an aluminium box, two separate boards were created: one for the power supply and other for the control and performance part. which was not realized yet. The functionality of the circuit was verified by measuring on the PCB, and the waveforms were compared with the implementation on the solderless field. The constructed Load simulator was placed in the EMC chamber, where its resilience was tested through various EMC tests. Finally, the individual results were evaluated, and potential improvements were described.
Analysis of the financial statements in a selected company
KALÁTOVÁ, Natálie
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of financial statements. It focuses on their characteristics and fulfilment of the regulations according to the legislation. The goal of this work was to evaluate the financial situation of the company with help of financial analysis tools. After that, suggestions for optimizing the economic situation were recommended based on the results achieved. The first part of this thesis generally summarizes the types of accounting companies, types of statements and their content. The second part deals with a specific analysis of the financial statements and evaluation of the results. Analyses are performed using absolute and relative indicators, bankruptcy and credit models, Du Pont decomposition and statistics. The selected relative indicators are then further compared with the values of their competitors. The results of this work can be used by the company as suggestions for improving their financial situation.
Study of implementation of SPC statistical method for control of technological operations
Ondruška, Jan ; Zeman, Karel (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The master’s thesis contains a procedure of implementation of statistical process control for a machining process in a chosen company. The method is based upon knowledge of this topic which are mentioned in the first part of the thesis. The output is a comparison of general process performance before and after implementation of the above-mentioned statistical method and evaluation of the influence of this new method at the process. The comparison is done using hypothesis testing of specific statistical variables and analysis of process performance and capability of both data sets. The acquired knowledge and experience will be used for implementation of statistical process control for other processes in the company’s production portfolio.
