Tool for Determining Attributions of Online Marketing Activities
Šišák, Ivan ; Henzl, Martin (referee) ; Malinka, Kamil (advisor)
The tool allows distribution of credit for the conversion to various marketing activities. So-called attribution modelling is concerned. The distribution of conversion is described by the models, except those most famous (first interaction model, last interaction model, linear model), that allow to create any distribution of conversion to several marketing activities. The use of this tool may be useful in the surveys of the effectiveness of marketing activities.
Attributional styles and their research on persons suffering from psychosomatic disorder
Nováková, Martina ; Slaměník, Ivan (advisor) ; Štětovská, Iva (referee)
The thesis deals with attributional styles and their research in patients with psychosomatic disorder. The text is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The term psychosomatic disorder is defined in the theoretical part. The essential links between psychosomatic disorder, stress and cognitive processes are mentioned. Selected attribution theory and the concepts of attributional styles, then make up the majority theory. In the empirical part, there are hypotheses defined using three psychodiagnostic methods tested on a set of people with psychosomatic disorder and compared with the healthy population. Agression in institutions for people with intellectual disability
Kurzová, Gabriela ; Kucharská, Anna (advisor) ; Sotáková, Hana (referee)
Tle topic of aggression in institutions for the people with intellectual disability is traditionally perceived as an exclusive problem of people with disability. The study aims to emphasize that more complex perspective on this problem is needed. Such perspective should include not only dispositions of people with intellectual disability but also characteristics of institutions and of professionals providing care. Theoretical overview summerizes hypothetic sources of aggressive behavior of clients and professionals. The research focuses on the professional's attribution of aggressive behavior. Results show that professionals are most likely to make the fundamental attribution error in their appraisal of the aggressive behavior. The study points out certain direction for following work on the improving quality of the care offered in institutions for people with intellectual disability.
Attribution and self-efficacy of younger and older school children
Stárková, Tereza ; Šírová, Eva (advisor) ; Horáková Hoskovcová, Simona (referee)
The bachelor's thesis consists of scientific literature compilation and research design. At first, the theoretical part concerns motivation in educational process and the developmental periods the thesis is focussed on. Most attention is paid to concepts of perceived self-efficacy and attributions. The most important theories and terms related to both concepts are explained, followed by their development in childhood and connection to school work. In the empirical part, there are described ways of measurement are mentioned a this part devotes to relationship between self-efficacy and attribution, which is the topic of research design. Pupils attributional tendencies and learning instrumentality
Saitlová, Barbora
TITLE: Pupils attributional tendencies and learning instrumentality AUTHOR: Mgr. Barbora Saitlová DEPARTMENT: Charles University in Prague - Faculty of Education SUPERVISOR: Doc. PhDr. Isabella Pavelková, CSc. ABSTRACT: In this dissertation we deal with an issue of pupils and students attribution in relation to life goals and perceived learning instrumentality for achieving these goals. We use life goals as an area for the two variables examination research. Besides the above mentioned variables we deal with another factors that we consider important in goals realization - future time perspective and students volitional characteristics, too. We were interested in school success and failure attribution, verification the role of internal and controllable attribution in terms of future time perspective or difference between the concept learning instrumentality and future time perspective. We used modified version of Inventory of motivational goals importance and learning instrumentality (De Volder, Lens, 1982) that we supplemented by questions about the attributional tendencies. Furthermore as a main method, we assigned students modified version of the Perspective orientation inventory (Pavelková, 2002), the Zimbardo time perspective inventory (Zimbardo, Boyd, 1999) and the Volitional components...
The self-reflection of attentional failure as a predictor of experiencing boredom
Sekáč, Jakub ; Lukavská, Kateřina (advisor) ; Pavelková, Isabella (referee)
This diploma thesis represents a sum of theoretical findings about correlates and antecedents of boredom and an empirical investigation of opened questions about boredom, according to the literature. This was done through a laboratory experiment in which the author of the thesis, in order to investigate the research questions, induced boredom in the research participants. The research aim of this thesis involves three topics. The primary purpose of the experiment is to assess the experimental manipulation effects of causal attribution of attentional failure on the intensity of boredom. In order to investigate the main research questions, the author of this thesis created a specific experimental design. This includes a fictive subliminal distracting element representing an alternative cause explaining attentional failure during a task reliably eliciting boredom. Experimental design was also developed to fulfil a secondary aim of this thesis, to explore some of the correlates of boredom with emphasis on the question of relation between activation and boredom. The third aim is to investigate hypothesis about the type of activities preferred after the boredom induction by giving a choice to participants between interesting and an enjoyable videoclip. The results of the experiment do not support the main...

This thesis is a report about the research study; it aims to map students' views of the future, importance of goals, learning instrumentality, attribution of choice goals and conceptions of learning by students. This text also deals with the relations of these variables. The research was conducted with 106 students of the same age from a grammar school. These students attended first class of the four-year study programme and fifth class of the eight-year study programme. The variables were compared between boys and girls and between students of four and eight year study programmes. The research study used quantitative and qualitative methods. A modified version of the Inventory of motivational goals importance and learning instrumentality (De Volder, Lens, 1982) was used. It was supplemented by questions about the attributional tendencies. Another method was essays, its subject was "one day in students' future". This method was supplemented by some questions. The qualitative analysis of the data was centred upon content and time analysis and aspects such as satisfaction, realism, elaborateness and alternativeness. The conceptions of learning were analysed by students' answers to the following question: "What do you actually mean by learning?". The categories of conceptions of learning were obtained...
