Waldorf Education in Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis Waldorf Education in the Czech Republic aims to map the development of Waldorf schools and the Waldorf education trend in the Czech Republic. The first part is dedicated to the establishment of the educational alternative, its founder Rudolf Steiner, the theoretical background of anthroposophic anthropology and to the development of Waldorf education at its beginnings. The second part describes the emergence of Waldorf schools in the Czech Republic after 1989 until 2013, Waldorf teacher training and also Waldorf parents' initiatives that stand at the very beginning of every school of this type. The final discussion deals with possibilities of Waldorf education, its topicality in the context of our time and contradictions between the ideal and reality. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
The Rudolf Steiner's pedagogy in the Czech educational system

The topic of this thesis is the pedagogy of Rudolf Steiner in the Czech educational system. The theoretical part is divided into three sections. The first chapter is dedicated to the founder of waldorf education Rudolf Steiner, it deals with his life, work and his legacy to the Czech pedagogical environment. The second chapter describes the free school of Rudolf Steiner, its origin, specifications and evolution of Steiner's education. The last chapter of the theoretical part is focused on Steiner's pedagogy in the Czech education system and studies application of the Steiner's pedagogy at each of the levels of the Czech school system. The empirical part deals with describtions of several Czech primary Steiner's schools and compares them from the point of view of chosen areas of origin, evolution and implementation of Rudolf Steiner's ideas. In the last chapter of the thesis the before mentioned areas of Czech Steiner's schools are compared in short with Steiner's schools in the Eindhoven in Netherlands. The Criterion of Religious Neutrality as the Current Issue of the Introduction of new Educational Projects in Czech Schools

The main goal of Thesis with name The Criterion of Religious Neutrality as the Current Issue of the Introduction of new Educational Projects in Czech Schools is to provide professional view at these projects in the meaning of their religious neutrality. For the purpose of the Thesis have been selected educational projects such as Religious Education, Ethics, Waldorf Schools and yoga exercise provided by The Yoga in Daily Life System. This Thesis is divided into three basic areas. The first part is devoted to the Czech Confession Law and legislation dealing with religious education in the Czech Republic. The second one will introduce these educational projects and their implementation in the Czech Republic, including a survey of their religious neutrality. The third area is about comparison of above mentioned educational projects with experiences of teachers in abroad.
Life and Work of Mikhail Chekhov in the context of Historical Development of Russian Drama

The thesis analyzes the historical development of Russian drama and it also discusses various acting techniques and their development. It focuses on efforts to create a method or system of acting which would help the actors perform characters in a natural and persuasive way. In this context, the thesis deals with Mikhail Chekhov - actor, director, theater director, teacher, theorist of acting, but also a Russian emigrant or nephew of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. Chekhov was a student of K. S. Stanislavsky. He worked in the Moscow art theatre and later founded and participated in the work of theatre studios in Europe and the United States of America. He dedicated a substantial part of his life to pedagogical and theoretical work. Education and Perspectives of the Youth and Adults with Intellectual Disabilities in Employment

This thesis "Educational and occupational perspektive of adolescents and adult people with disabilities" outlines the educational system for the people with disabilites, their employment and work placement options. Characteristics of the Waldorf Elementary and High school points out specialities and attitudes of the Waldofr's pedagogy and anthroposophic view towards the people with disabilities with the aim to present its implication on the posibilities of the people with disabilities on the following education and work placement. The outcome of the questionaire placed in Waldorf elementary and high school reflects the assertion of graduates after leaving the school, interviews with teachers of practical traning and the head of the workshop Jinan. The aim of this thesis is to emphasizes the importance of education and work placement for the people with disabilities, necessary in order to cultivate and enrich their lives.

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is a comparison of handcraft and art activities educational programs in mainstream nursery schools and Waldorf kindergartens. For this reason, the theoretical part deals with the basic documents of kindergarten, an ideological outlook of Waldorf pedagogy and methodology of artistic activities in the Waldorf kindergarten. The practical part presents the results of qualitative research, done by an analysis of school and classroom training programs, observation of artistic activities as well as interviews with teachers.

The work deals with education technology in the specific environment of Waldorf school with an emphasis on pedagogical traits of this school type. The theoretical part includes the explanation of the term {\clq}qeducational technology``, the brief characteristics of alternative schooling, its rise and development. The main accent is put on the Waldorf pedagogy, its recourses, contents, aims, specifics and history in the Czech Republic and Waldorf education worldwide. The practical part includes records from inspections of Waldorf classes and then a comparison of theory and praxis. Then this work compares a social climate of the Waldorf class and the class with a classical way of education by questionnaires to find out objective positives of Waldorf education.
