The goal of this diploma thesis is to prepare a marketing strategy for Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. The strategy is focused on target market and is based on questionnaire research made with respondents from target population. Strategy contains proposal of steps which could help to acquire new customers and keep recent customers. The diploma thesis also contains summary of information about the target population usable by Telefónica O2 for further analysis.
Overview of the Current State of the Art of Existing Energy Community Concepts in Europe and their Possible Implementation in the Czech Republic

This paper presents an overview of the current stateof the art of energy communities in Europe and discusses realexamples/concepts implemented in some countries that fulfill theissued EU directives by different technical ways. Therefore,it brings so-called allocation keys used in the individual energycommunity concepts for the distribution of produced energybetween consumers and shows the important differences of thesekeys and their impacts (benefits/disadvantages) for consumersor distribution system operators, so distribution tariffs and thefuture evaluation of allocation keys are also presented.Furthermore, there is the discussion which energy communityconcepts (implemented in European countries) or their specificparts can be transferred to the Czech Republic, especially in thecontext of the current laws and their preparations.
The Analysis of the Czech Mobile Market with Focus on Prepaid and Low-Cost Postaid Tariffs

This thesis analyzes the Czech mobile market which has recently undergone significant changes. It focuses on the prepaid plans and low-cost postpaid tariffs and compares offers of all three full-fledged mobile operators which are currently available and the tariffs provided by the mobile virtual operators. The aim is to determine the cheapest option for different levels of consumption. To compare the prices of mobile services provided by the individual operators, the OECD basket methodology was established. The ČTÚ adopted this approach and adjusted it in order to reflect specific patterns of the Czech mobile market. Both of these methodologies were employed. The mobile baskets include a voice and text usage and in addition, some of them take into consideration the growing demand for mobile internet and thus, a certain amount of data is added to these baskets. The results show that the virtual operators are able to compete with the full-fledged operators in providing services even to customers with a relatively high consumption. Furthermore, the thesis seeks to identify possible distortions within the operators' offers, which occur when a customer with a certain consumption is better off choosing a prepaid tariff over the postpaid even though the postpaid tariff is supposed to cover this usage for a lower...
Smoot - Hawley tariff and its effects on economy of The United States

This bachelor thesis focuses on effects of Smoot-Hawley tariff in The United States of America, during 1930. Specifically, the thesis focuses on the analysis of the tariff's effects to process of The Great Depression and is trying to answer the question if the tariff made The Depression worse. In the first part, there is described economic situation in the United States before the tariff passed and then there is described way, how the tariff was passed. The next part is divided into three chapters, and every single one of them analyze effects of the tariff from different sight of view, which is change of farmer's and producer's situation, monetary effects and effects of the tariff to world trade. The thesis analyzes these effects on process of the Great Depression in The United States. Conclusion of the thesis is the statement that Smoot-Hawley tariff made an effect on The Great Depression, mainly by his effects on world trade, which was lower because of the tariff and it was a break to recovery from recession.

Comparison of city public transit in Prague and San Francisco

The theorethical part contains a description of city public transit, its importance and history, priorities used in city public transit, tariff system, integrated transport systems and vehicles used in city public transit. The public transit systems in both cities are introduced and compared from several points of view in the practical part. The cities compared are Prague and San Francisco.

Bachelor theis provides a comprehensive overview of the basic characteristics of the building savings product. The second part of this work is focused on the Czech building society market which is characterized by a big amount of sources. The biggest emphasis is put on source problems and the related stability of building societies. The work also provides a summary of a current offer of Czech building socities products and various model situations focusing on the factors affecting revenue.

Tariff and non-tariff tools are one instrument of foreign business policy. This bachelor thesis focused on their evolution since 1989. Theoretic part is focusing on delimitation of meaning tariff and non-tariff tools in the development of Czech Republic and its movement to the entrance to the European Union after 2004 and shortly after 2008. Practical part in the first part deals with development tariff and non-tariff tools on the part of their application pass a law and in the second parts analysis development selection duty in years 2000 as far as 2008 according to Common Customs Tariff of agricultural commodities. At the close is check conjecture about decrease height duty on agricultural commodities after entrance to the European Union.
Problems of the Banking Fees

My thesis concentrates on the problems of the banking fees of banks in Czech Republic and Germany. It aims to examine the bank fees from the bank customers{\crq} point of view, and witch regard to the importance of the bank{\crq}s profit formation by analyzing and comparing bank politics in the Czech Republic and Germany. This thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part focuses on analyzing different types of bank schemes, their advantages and disadvantages and various types of banks existing in the market, and also on the scope of integral rate license. Last but not least, it deals with the analysis of the new Basel II which supports the stability of the financial system and competitive environment. The theoretical part also informs about the structure of the bank system in Germany and the competence of various bank institutions. The practical part similarly concentrates on analyzing the level of costs and commissions in relation to pecuniary gain of banks in Czech Republic and Germany. It also compares the banks on the basis of various indicators, such as for example the total assets, capital assets, number of business opportunities and net profit. Besides, it contains the level and progression of various fees of specific services over the last years, the pricing of bank deals and also all sorts of surveys like the most ridiculous fee, the bank with the best provided service and the bank with the best arranged scale of charges. Apart from that, it looks into the consumers{\crq} awareness about tariff changes in Czech Republic as well as Germany and it also focuses on the rules of conduct that the banks agreed on in order to improve the quality of the services for their customers.
The role of customs procedures in the European Union.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to describe simply and clearly the issue of customs procedures in the European Union (EU) and to specify its signification for this integration group. The thesis is divided into four chapters. In the first one I am dealing with a brief historical development of the EU and with three pillars on which it is built. I am putting accent on the Common trade policy. In the second chapter I am attending to the EU relations with third countries and the agreements concluded with them. In the third part I am defining basic customs regulations of the European Union - the Customs Code and the Common customs tariff. In the last, fourth, part I am describing customs procedures, customs value and debt and particular customs regimes.
