Obsahem teoretické části je popis městské hromadné dopravy,jejího významu a historie, preferencí používaných v městské hromadné dopravě,tarifního systému, integrovaných dopravních systémů a dopravních prostředků v MHD používaných. V praktické části jsou představeny MHD systémy v obou městech a porovnány z několika hledisek. Srovnávanými městy jsou Praha a San Francisko. The theorethical part contains a description of city public transit, its importance and history, priorities used in city public transit, tariff system, integrated transport systems and vehicles used in city public transit. The public transit systems in both cities are introduced and compared from several points of view in the practical part. The cities compared are Prague and San Francisco.
