Volleyball as a part of physical education at secondary schools

Title: Volleyball as a part of physical education at secondary schools Aims of work: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarize the issue of teaching volleyball in physical education lessons at secondary schools. In the theoretical part, the basic rules of volleyball, individual game activities, and game combinations and systems are described. The practical part focuses on mapping the scope and form of volleyball teaching at secondary schools. It also assesses the quality of school equipment for this game and the popularity of this sport among pupils. Methodology: To evaluate the teaching of volleyball at selected secondary schools, I used quantitative method. The data were collected through an online questionnaire from teachers teaching physical education at secondary schools. Results: To ensure better clarity, the collected data are presented using graphs and tables. Subsequently, the results are thoroughly evaluated in the discussion section. The conducted survey indicates that volleyball is included in the curriculum at all the surveyed schools, and that nearly all schools have sufficient equipment for the game. Validation of exercise that aims to increase physical fitness in high school students using beach volleyball exercises

Title: Validation of exercise that aims to increase physical fitness in high school students using beach volleyball exercises Aims: The main aim of this thesis is to verify through an experimental investigation whether deliberately selected beach volleyball exercises will lead to a change in the level of physical fitness in the experimental group and then to compare the measured data with a control group. Methods. In order to increase the level of physical fitness, exercises with beach volleyball content were chosen. The experiment consisted of an eight-minute intervention that was conducted over a 4-week period in high school physical education classes. It is a kind of working experiment in terms of methods. In order to verify and compare the effectiveness of exercise through beach volleyball training, it was necessary to create motor tests to determine any changes in physical fitness. These tests are as follows: 1. vertical jump achieved, 2. rapid changes of direction, 3. sprint for 20 m. Two schools were selected that implemented the same intervention, which differed in time. RESULTS: The results of the study indicate that the experiment itself suggests progression in some areas of physical fitness. Name: Inclusion of corrective exercise in PE lessons and their influence on posture and plantarflexion on 2nd primary school girls Research problem: According to the available literature, it is obvious that the posture of school-aged children is worse and worse. In addition, the subject Health Physical Education, which should compensate for these emerging health problems, is hardly taught anymore. This work proposes a solution to include exercises from program Healthy physical education to the lessons of regular physical education at the 2nd primary school and thus support the posture and the quality of the foot arch in pupils. Aim: The aim of the work is to find out the effect of the inclusion of healthy physical education to the PE lessons in 2nd primary school students on body posture and foot arch. Methods: It is a quasi-experiment where the participants were divided into a tested and a control group. There were 2 measurements - initial and final. Title: Health physical education in the Czech and Slovak educational systems Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of the issue of health physical education (HPE) in the Czechia and Slovakia, its specifics, historical development and current state. The sub-goals of the work were to establish international cooperation for obtaining information regarding health physical education in Slovakia and to establish a framework for the provision of physical education in the Czechia and Slovakia, as well as the personal attitudes of those involved in the pedagogical process in relation to HPE. Methods: This thesis has a mixed nature with a predominance of theoretical concepts, which has a descriptive analytical character. The approach of analysing literary sources best suited the needs of the work. In addition, a questionnaire survey was conducted, in which the research sample consisted of primary and secondary school teachers in Czechia and Slovakia. Validation of the effectivenness of individual basketball skills in school physical education

This bachelor's thesis deals with the validation of the effectivenness of the training of individual basketball game activities in physical education classes. In the theoretical part, a brief history is mentioned, the sport of basketball is characterized, individual game activities are described and one chapter is also devoted to the characterization of adolescents. In the research part, an experiment was chosen as the main method to verify the effectiveness of the training. The experiment involved 59 high school students divided into two research groups, both groups were tested on dribbling, passing and shooting. Subsequently, the experiment was conducted differently for each group and each group was subjected to different forms of game development activities. At the end, the groups were tested again and the results were used to chart the progress of each group and were used to compare the two groups with each other. The main objective was to determine and compare the effect of the individual's practice of game activities on the level of basketball skill development. The attractiveness of individual athletic in primary schools

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to determine the level of attractiveness of athletic disciplines within physical education classes at primary schools and to identify factors that influence the attractiveness of these disciplines. The thesis is divided into theoretical and research sections. In the theoretical part, information is summarized regarding the significance of athletics in the curriculum of physical education at primary schools, including the history of athletics, motivation of students in physical activities, and general sports preferences. The research section focused on interpreting the results from a questionnaire survey completed by 256 respondents from selected primary schools in the Pelhřimov district, specifically ZŠ Humpolec, ZŠ Pacov, and ZŠ Pelhřimov. This part of the thesis places further emphasis on students' relationships with individual athletic disciplines and their impact on student performance, featuring a detailed analysis of the attractiveness of athletic disciplines, especially focusing on selected disciplines such as sprinting, ball throwing, and high jumping.
