The Master’s thesis "Stress evaluation, coping and reduction" dealing with the currently very topical issue the stress acting on employee working conditions. It analyzes the types of stress, signs, symptoms and effects on health and work performance of employees. The thesis is focused on the factors causing stress, their identification and reduction of the company. The theoretical part is focused on theoretical analysis of the problems. The practical part is devoted to the measurement of stressors in the working environment for catering JHREST s.r.o. employees. The work conclusion includes a proposal of the stress factors reduction in the company.
Monitoring zdravotního stavu jedle bělokoré (Abies alba Mill.) na vybraných plochách LS Náměšť nad Oslavou

The diploma thesis pursues an assessment of the health condition of white fir (Abies alba) in selected areas of the Náměšť nad Oslavou forest administration. All 888 of the white fir trees (Abies alba) on the two research grounds, in the 7th age class, were incorporated into health classification, the symptoms of damage to the tree species were evaluated and the presence of wood fungi, insect pests and other negative factors affecting the studied trees was determined. From the symptoms found, it was assessed that among the abiotic damage, drought and wind had the greatest effect on the health of the trees. Among the biotic damages, white mistletoe (Viscum album), wood-decaying fungi and insect pests had a significant negative effect.

Eliška Rotbartová Title: Work integration options in people with multiple sclerosis: influence of symptoms and other comorbidities Abstract: This theoretical-practical bachelor thesis focuses on the impact of multiple sclerosis symptoms and other comorbidities on the employment of people who are dealing with this diagnosis. The thesis aims to find out what are the main difficulties that limit the ability to work of people with multiple sclerosis, using a questionnaire of work difficulties called Multiple Sclerosis Work Difficulties Questionnaire (MSWDQ-23). The importance of this aim is based primarily on the fact that the disease mainly affects young adults in productive age, for whom employment tends to be an essential part of life and the difficulties associated with reduced work capacity can negatively affect their financial and social situation, but also their general physical condition. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the knowledge on the given issue using the current foreign and Czech literature. The students knowledge of the medical high school in the area of prevention and first aid for a stroke

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of stroke, specifically what the knowledge of chosen nursing school students in this important part of neurological field is. Theoretical part of the thesis includes basic knowledge about this illness, gained from studying professional sources. Practical part is worked out on the basis of survey, that took place in chosen nursing school. The aim was to evaluate the level of chosen school students ́ knowledge about the stroke issue, focused particularly on the recognition of the symptoms of stroke, first aid provision and the knowledge of stroke risk factors and prevention. Finding out, if the grade level of chosen nursing school students has effect on their knowledge in this field, was the another aim. Answers of 102 responders were evaluated and specific steps based on the result of the survey were formulated. It will lead to increased awareness and earned knowledge specification of stroke issue among chosen nursing school students. The stroke issue is part of the nursing school curriculum throughout all grades. Pain in patients with multiple sclerosis

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of pain in patients with multiple sclerosis. The aim of the thesis is to map the prevalence of pain among patients with multiple sclerosis, its localization, time course, triggering factors, type, character, intensity and some other aspects pain through a shortened Czech form of the standardized questionnaire of McGill University. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the issue of pain in general, but also focuses on the individual types of pain that are characteristic of multiple sclerosis. The practical part relies on data collection by means of a questionnaire survey that focuses on mapping the prevalence of pain, its location, haracter, duration, intensity and other possible related factors. To collect data, I used a shorter form of the Czech version of the standardized McGill University questionnaire. The questionnaire survey was carried out with patients of the Centre for Demyelinating Diseases, Department of Neurology 1. LF UK and VFN in Prague, who were given a paper questionnaire. The information I obtained was processed into graphs and tables. v AJ: This thesis deals with the subject of anemia. The theoretical part of the Master's thesis is concerned with an overview of the well-known types of anemia, their etiology, diagnostics, symptoms and treatment. The practical part observes the awareness of the issue within the non-medical sanitary staff working at the intensive care units without professional supervision. The data will be collected in the form of structured questionnaires filled by a selected group of respondents. The thesis is, in the outcome, an educational material that can be used for comprehensive understanding of this issue in the adaptation process. The results of the research will be processed into tables with graphs. They will be summarized in the discussion as well as in the conclusion.
Gait disorders in Patients with Parkinson's disease

This bachelor thesis deals with problems of the Parkinson's disease (PD). It is an incurable neurodegenerative disorder which is caused by degeneration of pigment cells producing dopamine in the substantia nigra. The lack of dopamine impairs regulating activities of the basal ganglia. That leads to manifestation of the typical symptoms of PD. Knowledge survey briefly describes symptoms, diagnostics and treatment for this disease. This paper focuses on neurolocomotor process, movement control and especially gait disorders which occurs in patients with Parkinson's disease. Problems with walking develops subsequently, progressively limiting patients in their daily activities. Because current medications providing little relieve, physiotherapy plays an important role in ameliorating these symptoms. This thesis describes various physiotherapeutic approaches. It emphasizes necessity of regular exercising which is absolutely essential to slow the progression of the disease and its debilitating effects. Practical part of this work focuses on the efficacy of the therapy on one patient. This man has the typical PD symptoms and freezing and hesitation often happens to him. TITLE: Life of Family with a Child with the Toriello-Carey Syndrome AUTHOR: Bc. Ivana Valuchová DEPARTMENT: Department of Special Pedagogy SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Monika Mužáková, PhD. ABSTRACT: The thesis deals with the family of a child with a disease of rare Toriello-Carey syndrome. This is an isolated case of this disease in Europe. The main objective of the thesis is to process of complex information relating to disease of Toriello-Carey syndrome and to determine impacts of the syndrome on the quality of life of individuals and their families. The thesis is divided to theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part contains three chapters. The first theoretical chapter (Introduction) is devoted to detail syndrome- its etiology, symptoms, context, history, clinical assessment, treatment and prognosis. Other theoretical chapters describe a family with a child with disabilities and specifics of families with rare diseases. The empirical part of the thesis is focused on a research and mapping the life of the family of a child with Toriello-Carey syndrome by analyzing the documents and semi-structured interview with the parents and an active observation boy.
