Zemanová, N. Service quality and visitor satisfaction in the tourist destination Pec pod Sněžkou. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. This Bachelor thesis deals with quality of service and satisfaction of visitors in the tourist destination Pec pod Sněžkou. Basic concepts from the issue of ser-vice quality and satisfaction of visitors are defined and the current state of the destination as well. The work includes a semi-structured interview with a repre-sentative of the municipality of Pec pod Sněžkou and a questionnaire survey on the service quality and overall satisfaction of visitors. Its evaluation was carried out using statistical methods and recommendations are then made on how to in-crease the quality of services and thus the overall cooperation of visitors.

It presents an analysis of travel agency Periscope Skandinávie, s.r.o. and examines Finnish travel agency Lapland Safaris' range of winter sport activities. This thesis also describes the outdoor activities available in Finland. Methods: The data presented in this thesis has been acquired by analysing documents produced by travel agencies (reports, figures, catalogues sold). The questionnaire method of research has been used to assess the level of interest future clients show in the offers promoted by the travel agencies. Details about working in travel agencies have been acquired through structured interviews with the general managers of the travel agencies. Conclusions: Finland is a promising country for Czech travel agencies (please see: Great Prospects for Outdoor Activities in Terms of Nature Conditions and Organisation). Title: Problems of sustainable development in sport Objectives: The main objective is to write a research thesis with a compilation character. The thesis will describe and discuss the issue of sustainable development in sport based on available materials. Methods: To create this theoretical research paper, the method of document analysis and study of secondary data was used. With the help of the compilation method, a synthesis of the available knowledge is formed and with the help of the comparison method is created a comparing of the studied data. Results: The study and analysis of the documents showed a wide involvement of stakeholders in the issue of sustainable development in sport. To a large extent, sustainability strategies are implemented. The reference is made to sustainability principles in the described areas (sports organisations, events, facilities, etc.). The issue of sustainable development is nowadays a widespread topic that permeates the functioning of sport at various levels and thus provides many opportunities for further study. Sport tourism in regional development

Title: Sport Tourism and its Influence on Development of Regions Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to introduce the sport tourism as a convenient tool for the regional development, to find out if the regions think about it in this way nowadays and how the sport tourism is incorporated in the strategic documents if so. The finding if the sport tourism is considered as a separate branch or if it is still divided into sport and tourism industry is also remarkable. This thesis sets the target to outline the different ways of the sport tourism application in a regional development and to determine certain recommendations as well. Methods: The methods used at research are qualitative content analysis and semi- structured interview. The analysis is used for the strategic documents of regions and the interviews are held with the regional representatives and the private institution agents chosen by a snowball sampling. Subsequently, a holistic analysis and an interpretation of discovered results are made. Results: I have revealed that sport and tourism are both part of the strategic documents of the regions, but no region uses the term 'sport tourism' in these documents. Práce analyzuje vývoj business modelů v oblasti poskytování sportovních služeb. Konkrétně je zaměřena na lyžařské školy. V úvodní rešerši postupně představuje základní pojem business model a jednotlivé přístupy od různých autorů. Dále popisuje postupný vývoj poskytování sportovních služeb v turistických regionech. Výzkumná část práce obsahuje čtyři případové studie konkrétních lyžařských škol z různých oblastí, které odráží současné trendy ve sportovním průmyslu. První tři případové studie analyzují vývoj lyžařských škol, založených před rokem 1990. Případová studie nově vzniklé školy poukazuje na změnu aspektů, které vedou k založení školy v dnešní době, a poskytuje v této oblasti návod pro začínající podnikatele. Pro analýzu business modelů jednotlivých škol byl využit model Canvas. Závěr výzkumné zprávy je zpracován formou specifické analytické techniky cross-case.

Sport tourism in the city of České Budějovice and its surroundings

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out level of the satisfaction with opportunities for sport tourism in the capital of South Bohemian region. The thesis focuses on tourism in general and sport tourism as well. The work is aimed at actual state of sport facilities in the town of České Budějovice. It analyses the current infrastructure of the city and their vicinity. The case study of Olympic park Rio-Lipno, which is good example of sport tourism activity and option how promote sport tourism. The thesis also describes opportunities for improvement of sport tourism in Českobudějovicko region. The oppor-tunities are based on a questionnaire survey. The bachelor thesis evaluates the Olympic Park Rio-Lipno which took place in August 2016 during the Summer Olympic Games in Brazil. In conclusion there are results of the research summarized and there are solutions that lead to the improvement of sports tourism in České Budějovice are suggested.

Offer of tours provided by tour operators in Prague with sports focus

This bachelor thesis deals with tour operators focusing on sport. The first part defines theoretical terms, especially tourism, sports tourism, tour operators and creation of their product. In the second part is evaluated survey among residents aimed to find out their preferences and demands for an active holiday. In the next part a detailed analysis of selected Prague tour operators is made as well as their comparison i. In the final chapter is designed own sports tour for a tour operator including calculation.

Analysis of the Winter Tourism Supply of Switzerland

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the winter tourism supply of Switzerland. The objective of this thesis is to analyse the winter tourism supply of Switzerland and to assess Switzerland as a destination for the Czech tourists for spending an active winter holiday. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to the sport tourism, including winter sport tourism and also to the role of destination management in development of the destination`s tourism. The practical part is dedicated to the tourism industry of Switzerland and its winter tourism supply. Further, the activities of the Swiss national tourism authority Schweiz Tourismus, and its role in the creation of the winter tourism supply, are described. In the conclusion of the practical part, there is a SWOT analysis, which assesses Switzerland in terms of an active winter holiday destination for the Czech tourists.

Sport centres in the Czech republic - possibilities of using in tourism

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the total capacity of sport centres in a selected region of the Czech republic. The capital city of Prague was chosen for this analysis as one of the most important tourist destinations within the Czech republic with a developed sport infrastructure, which offers a potential for the development of active tourism. Not all of the sport centres situated in Prague are included in the research, but the emphasis is put on such centres and services related to sport activities that can be used by tourists within the active and passive sport tourism. The thesis also includes a survey which aims to find out, what are the general trends in the behavior of people in relation to active and passive sport tourism and sport activities in Prague.
