Financial analysis of selected business entities

The thesis deals with the financial analysis of the Bernard Family Brewery and comparison with the Svijany Brewery. Methods, which are used to compare, are indicators of financial analysis represented by: absolute, differential, ratio and composite indices, spider graphs, bankruptcy and credibility models and indicator of economic value added. There are mentioned the specifics in the production of beer in the Czech Republic and the basic characteristics of the company. Indicators are calculated for the years 2010 to 2014. The results are compared with rival Svijany Brewery and with average in manufacture of beverages industry (where possible). In the conclusion, there is given an overall evaluation of results and formulation of possible recommendations for improving the financial situation of the Bernard Family Brewery.
Marketing and communication strategy of BERNARD Brewery

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of marketing and communication strategy of the Bernard Family Brewery. The aim is to assess the current strategy and to propose practical recommendations for the future. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the basic concepts of marketing, creating marketing and communication strategy, using well-known tools and methods. In the practical part is presented the analyzed company and its product portfolio. The thesis is based on the evaluation of the current use and application of marketing and communication strategy. In conclusion, on the basis of evaluated data, are made corresponding recommendations and possible changes.

The theoretical part deals with general basics of marketing and introduce tools of marketing strategy. In the practical part I analyze company using marketing tools and on that basis I give recommendations to improve the activities of this brewery.

The goal of this Bachelor's Thesis is to analyse the actual position of the BERNARD Family Brewery at the European beer market. This Thesis attempts to characterize and uncover activities of this brewery. Significant attention is paid to the European beer market itself. It is described in the first part of the Thesis. The second part concentrates on the BERNARD Family Brewery. Firstly it analyzes the position of this brewery in the Czech Republic, and then it focuses on the activities of this brewery in Europe. The output of this paper consists of author's recommendation on how to improve the position of this brewery at the beer market.

The aim of the thesis is to determine the market value of Rodinný pivovar Bernard, a.s. The work consists of two parts - theoretical-methodological and practical. The first part deals with basic theoretical knowledge regarding the valuation of the company. The second part begins with a description of the company valuated. Strategic and financial analysis which is used to build a financial plan follows. That is the basis for valuation of the company using the DCF Entity method which is used to valuate the brewery in the final part of the thesis.
