Teaching assistant and his application in preschool

Diploma thesis "Teaching assistant and his application in preschool" discusses the profession of a teaching assistant, his work in educating not only children with special educational needs, but also children without special educational needs and his collaboration with other educators. It deals with everything that an assistant should do and it also provides a summary of opinions and practical experiences of teaching assistants. The thesis is divided into theoretical part and empirical part. Theoretical part consists of four chapters and research part consists of one chapter. The first chapter defines the concept of a teaching assistant, the second chapter points out the differences between personal assistant, assistant for socially disadvantaged and assistant for disabled. The third chapter is dedicated to the importance of a teaching assistant in inclusive education and the fourth chapter deals with cooperation between teachers and teaching assistants. The empirical part contains of the research carried out from a combination of qualitative method, which has the form of a semi-structured interviews, and quantitative method, which was done through a standardized questionnaire. The use of human-oriented approaches in the elderly losing communication skills

My bachelor thesis is aimed on a comparison of two man-oriented approches. It is a psychobiographic model of care according to professor Böhm and reminescence. The intention is to compare the possible use of these models from the view of the workers in the direct daily care in senior houses for clients who are gradually loosing their communication skills. For the comparison, I used a semi-structured interview as a tool of qualitative method. The primary source of information was intently selected respondents from a specific facility, i.e. senior house.
Analysis of the Czechoslovak newsreel in 1961

The aim of the diploma thesis is analysis of the Czechoslovak newsreel of 1961. In the quantitative method, reports are sorted by the codebook into thematic groups. There are following variables: soft x hard news; domestic x foreign news; culture x politics x economy x sport x disaster x rest. As a result of this method we can find out which news were preferred (agenda-setting) and bated (gate-keeping). In the qualitative method author is analysing foreign reports chosen by quantitative method. Suitable places for excursions around Kolín for environmental education at the first stage of primary schools

The thesis deals with environmental education for the pupils of primary education in the natural localities near Kolín and shows teachers how to undertake the so called place- based education. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of excursion and environmental education that are based on available scholarly literature. Furthermore, it discusses documents which delimitate environmental education as a cross-disciplinary topic at primary schools and describes natural conditions in the chosen region. The aim of the research part was to find out which localities teachers use for outdoor activities and to create a methodical proposal of environmental excursion for the most frequently visited localities. Sexual education as sexual abuse prevention for people with learning disabilities

This thesis is focuses on sexual education as prevention against sexual abuse of people with learning disabilities. The main part of this thesis is a research examining which methods of sexual education are the most effective ones in case of prevention against sexual abuse and which conditions are indispensable for execution of sexual education. These questions are reflected through literature analysis and through an interview with an expert on this topic. I consider the results of the complete analysis of foreign sources and of a particular expertʹs opinions as the main benefit of this thesis.
Subjective well-being: Approaches and evaluations in EU - 15 and the Czech republic

The main topic of the diploma thesis "Subjective wellbeing: approaches and evaluation in EU-15 and in the Czech Republic" is the subjective wellbeing and its conceptualization, especially the importance of this concept in the field of measurement and assessment of the progress and of the development of societies, which are sustainable. The thesis analyses the documents, which are published in the countries of EU-15 to cover the topic of the national strategies for sustainable development. The analysis considers the extent of the relevance of these documents from the perspective of including the concept of subjective wellbeing (with happiness, quality of life, satisfaction) in the texts and it also examines the wellbeig indicators, which are implemented in these texts and which are relative to the factors with certain influence on the level of personal or social wellbeing. The analysis is interested in the study of Czech documents relevant to this topic as well (The Czech Republic's Strategic Framework for Sustainable Development and Progress report). The work describes problems of creating CBA. The theoretical part of the work defines the CBA, its drawbacks and strengths. An important part of it is a different view of economic orientations to the CBA. The work also deals with the current institutional situation that determines the obligation of drawing up the CBA for the selected projects seeking public support. The aim of this work is to evaluate the production of any obligation of the CBA. For this purpose, will be used as well interviews with experts.
