The Nursing Profession from the Point of View of Medical Students

The Bachelor thesis "The Nursing Profession from the Point of View of the Medical Students" provides insight into nursing as a profession. The thesis states the main characteristics of profession. The study describes the process of professionalization and its impact on the prestige of nursing profession. This thesis also deals with the changes in the role of nurse and the image of nursing profession. The empirical part focuses on determining the attitude of medical students to the nursing profession and the subsequent comparison of the results with previous surveys and among selected groups of students.
The effect of volunteer management professionalization level on volunteer work satisfaction

This text concentrates on volunteering in volunteer organizations. It examines the connection between volunteer management professionalization level and volunteer work satisfaction in these organizations. In the theoretical part is defined the concepts of volunteering, professionalization and satisfaction are defined and their particular aspects associated with the focus of the thesis are highlighted. The empirical part describes the construction of the research method and presents the analysis of the above-mentioned connection in several volunteering organizations with the use of this method. Civic participation within the context of professionalized CSOs in terms of their representatives

This master thesis is dealing with topic of citizen's involvement and civic participation in context of professionalized civil society organizations 's activities. The work is based on theoretical concepts of political and civic participation. Subsequently, civic participation and citizen's involvement is seen in the sense of civic activities carried out within or through civil society organizations and they include various forms in which citizens participate in public life, usually without financial reward. The paper also presents the concepts of professionalization that frame the subsequent reflection on the nature and potential of civic participation and citizen's involvement into activities of professionalized civil society organizations. The main part is a qualitative research whose aim is to describe and understand, from perspective of professionalized organization's representatives, how and why there is public participation within or through activities of the organization and what are the preferred forms and barriers of involvement and civic participation. Self-development of teachers as a basic premise of preparedness for a profession

This thesis follows the bachelor thesis ,,Gestalt therapy and its use in education" and deals with self-development of teachers as a basic premise for preparedness for the profession. It describes very complicated concept self-development of teacher itself, then it discusses the issues of teaching quality and professionalism, where the thesis again emphasizes self-development as a way of transition from semiprofession to profession. It contemplates the necessity of self-development due to the rapid changes in today's society and thus increasing demands on the personality of the teacher. This thesis is based on the belief in the importance of self-development of teachers mainly in social and personal qualities, it asks whether these qualitites are sufficiently developed in the pregraduate teacher's education and if the offer of further education is sufficient for today's teachers. A short chapter is devoted to the burnout syndrom. Empirical probe aims to validate the conclusions and research of the theoretical part. The chosen method for the probe is questionnaire for primary school teachers. There is a list of centers that provide teacher training in the end of the thesis.
Personalization of political communication in Czech republic: quantitative content analysis of presidental campaign 2013 in daily press

This Bachelor Thesis on the topic Personalization of political communication in the Czech republic: Quantitative content analysis of presidental campaign 2013 in daily press deals with the developement of political communication and in particular with the trend of personalization. Personalization is the result of several media, social and political changes which emerged after the Second World War. This Bachelor Thesis consists of two parts. The first theoretical part deals with the development of political communication acompannied by the professionalization of political campaigns. Professionalization can be also considered as a precusor to personalization of political communicatin. The second part summarises the results of quantitative content analysis of presidental campaign in 2013 in the Czech republic. This analysis confirmed the hypothesis that political communication in the presidental campaign was personalized. This provided the opportunity for further research.
Motivation to serve in the Czech armed forces among the professional soldiers after the experiences with the transformation of the rescue battalions

The work deals with the theme of motivation to serve in the Czech armed forces among the professional soldiers after the experiences with the transformation of the rescue battalions. The author talks about the influences which may change the motivation of extended active duty with the Czech armed forces. The work reacts to problems of the armed forces with the adequate human resources necessary for its operation and development which becomes very wide in these days. Besides the recruiting of new professionals, author sees the main point in the retention and condition of the stuff and its better use. Studying the genesis of the problems, author uses analyzes of the reformation process of armed forces its professionalization and practical experiences from the transformation of the rescue battalions from the year 2008. From the sources mentioned above and theoretical knowledge about motivation author presents and search the main motivation factors which influence leaving or extending the career of the professional soldiers in the Czech army. Author studies the literature, experiences and other sources. This work tries to offer concrete provisions, which may help to increase this motivation and which are useful with the tools of public and social politics.
From an influencer to a journalist - a new form of a deprofessionalization of journalism?

The diploma thesis From an influencer to a journalist - a new form of a deprofessionalization of journalism? aims to acquaint readers with a modern trend, where influencers, people operating primarily on social media, become journalists, who create media performances. In the theoretical part, conceptions such as an influencer, social media or even the concept of a deprofessionalization of journalism are established. In the methodical part, the author chose a qualitative research method, specifically throughout interviews with influencers already participating in the media. In addition to the research method and research set, the reader is also acquainted with research questions, which were formed into interrogative questions. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to the research itself. In the opening chapter, the concepts are ordered and categorized, which was later used by the author to assemble chapters Influencer, Education and practice, Employment relationship, Theoretical preparation, Working in the media and Social media. Changes in the social status of the social group of Czech architects and builders in the 19th century

This work aims to contribute to the research of Czech elites of the 19th century and to write up the hitherto neglected topic of professional and social rise of Czech architects and builders in the 19th century. At this time, as a result of state reforms of the educational, administrative and legal system, the professional perception and social status of this class changed. In the introduction, architects and builders are included in the process of modernization of the construction industry and defined on the basis of their relationship to art, engineering and business. Subsequently, architects and builders are defined as a socio-professional group that has reached a certain degree of professionalism during this period. Against the background of the formation of a modern system of building and architectural education, law and administration, individual features of professionalization are monitored on specific cases of architects and builders using the method of collective biography of elites in research areas of their social background, education, construction practice and other public activities.
