Bibliografický záznam ANDREAS, Petr. Politika interpretace. Rétorické, diskursivní a textové hry v normalizační literární kritice. Univerzita Karlova, Filozofická fakulta, Ústav české literatury a komparatistiky, 2014. Vedoucí disertační práce: prof. Petr A. Bílek, CSc. Anotace Tématem této disertace je politika interpretace v normalizační literární kritice a publicistice (1968-1989). Práce kategorizuje a analyzuje diskursivní, rétorické a textové strategie, které používali literární kritici a publicisté (a jednotlivé profesní a názorové skupiny) publikující v oficiálním publikačním prostoru. Metodologicky vychází z konceptu politiky interpretace podle P. C. Hogana, rozvinutého o teorii jednání a teorii řečových aktů. V první, teoreticko-metodologické části (kapitoly II-IV) je představen a rozvíjen pojem politiky interpretace a analyzovány metodologické problémy interpretace literárněkritických a publicistických textů z normalizační éry. V druhé, analytické a interpretační části (kapitoly V-VII) jsou rozlišeny tři roviny politiky interpretace podle umístění ve struktuře kritického aktu a identifikovány kategorie rétorických, diskursivních a textových strategií. V třetí, závěrečné části (kapitola VIII) je zobecněno a syntetizováno poznání o podobě a fungování kritického aktu v normalizační éře. Annotation...
Czechoslovak musical elite in the late eighties and early nineties of the 20th century
Matějíček, František ; Havel, Jan (advisor) ; Houda, Přemysl (referee)
At the turn of the eighties' and nineties' of the 20th century, correspondingly to the whole social scale, significant changes happened on the domestic music scene. The musical and the creative elite were confronted with the Anglo-American production, and were forced, in a number of cases, to come up with the alternative ways of expressing themselves under the new circumstances. The goal of this thesis is to compare and contrast the situation on the domestic scene during the period right before the November 1989 and the period to follow; based on the various testimonies of popular Czechoslovakian musicians. The research aims to collect the information regarding contemporary popularity of the Czechoslovakian modern music and authors from the eighties'. I'm trying to verify if the critique perspective of one part of the public experts on the allegiance of the musical elite and the ideology of the pre-November regime is justified or not. At the same time, the thesis follows the fortune of the music stars in relation to the changing social order and, in addition to it, establish the basis for the study of the further research in the field.
Czech public art collections and the acquisition policy during the normalization era
Sloupová, Andrea ; Klimešová, Marie (advisor) ; Šetlík, Jiří (referee) ; Neumann, Ivan (referee)
The doctoral thesis Czech public art collections and the acquisition policy during the normalization era deals with the topic of domestic institutional operation in 1970s and 1980s, with specific focus on activities of galleries incorporated in the national, hierarchically organized network of art institutions. The research of these acquisition activities uncovers composition of the works of art acquired this way. It finds aspects in which individual institutions differed and detects the reasons behind these differences. Besides the acquisition process itself, the thesis also outlines the circumstances of establishment of the gallery network and summarizes its activities in more tolerant 1960s based on various material sources and oral history. The acquisition policy of galleries as such is analysed in the thesis covering the period from the beginning of the year 1970, when the resolution of the turning meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia in April 1969 started to be fulfilled, until the end of the year 1989. Geographically, it is limited to the Czech territory. The results obtained by the analysis point out fundamental differences between individual institutions and between regions in which they operated. The results bring answers to questions concerning...

Analyzing a person’s handwriting for recognizing his/her emotional state
Sculpture from 1966-1989 in the Public Space of Prague. Contemporary Reception and Methods of Treatment
Krausová, Sára ; Bendová, Eva (advisor) ; Czumalo, Vladimír (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of sculpture from 1966-1989 in Prague's public space. Through specific examples of works, the most significant paradigms of deterioration of art in public space are presented, which depend on contemporary reception and treatment. The period in question is defined by the validity of the decree on the application of artistic design in investment construction. The government resolution defined the principles for securing funding of one to four percent for the artistic design of buildings, public spaces and urban concepts. Thanks to state support for art, a large number of realisations were created in Czechoslovakia, which were often left to decay and destruction after the fall of the regime. The introductory chapter describes the cultural and historical circumstances of the creation of these works of art in public spaces in Prague. The main part of the thesis deals with a detailed analysis of specific sculptural realizations with emphasis on their current condition. These works are categorized subsequently: removal, replacement, absent care and preservation of the work of art. Particular attention is paid to civic and institutional support for the arts in the public space and efforts to reintroduce a percentage for the arts. Keywords art in public space,...
