Optimization of the existing construction of magnetorheological clutch
Bedřich, Miroslav ; Růžička, Bronislav (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This work deals with the reconstruction of magnetorheological (MR) clutch. The extensive research on the use of magnetorheological technology in practice was developed in the first part. The function of MR dampers, MR brakes and MR clutches were described. Some parameters of MR clutches were listed and compared. The second part concentrates on construction modifications to improve some parameters of MR clutch. The experiments verifying improvement of operating parameters of MR clutch were carried out in the third part.
Interactive Medical Image Segmentation
Olša, Martin ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with a fast level-set approach for segmentation of anatomical structures in volumetric medical images. The fast level-set method evolves a closed 3D surface in time propagating the surface form an initial position. The major contribution of this work is the implementation of the level-set method and construction of an interactive tool for segmentation of 3D medical data using this method. The tool is able to interactively change parameters of the evolution during the segmentation process itself. Due to the nature of level-set method, the evolution process can be stopped at any time, or backtracked and restarted from any previous step with a different configuration.
Design of Testing Bench for Determination of the Operating Parameters of the Magnetic Shaft Sealing
Kubík, Michal ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of testing stand for operating parameters magnetic seal. In this thesis was done analysis of construction magnetic circuit and analysis of operating parameters. This work contains FEM analysis of magnetic circuit and experimental tune up. The results of this analysis will be used for design magnetic circuit and geometric sensitivity analysis in test stand.
Design of MR clutch water cooling
Musil, Marek ; Strecker, Zbyněk (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This paper describes the design and manufacture of water refrigeration for magneto clutch. MR clutch cooling problem was solved by designing of several variants of which was finally chosen the best. Model of water cooling was developed and subsequently made. The cooling is consolidated on a stator of MR clutch. Cooling completely surrounds the body of an MR clutch and thus achieves a high heat transfer between the cooling system and cooled. The proposal was developed with a view to good foldability, so its use is not complicated.
Magnetorheological damper for Formula Student
Dlápal, Václav ; Strecker, Zbyněk (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
The master thesis deals with design, manufacturing and testing of a prototype magnetorheological damper developed for Formula Student vehicle. The aim was to design and test the damper with similar damping properties to the vehicle as a conventional damper has. Target force-velocity curves were set using quarter car model and evaluated comparing minimal contact force of a tyre for conventional and newly developed damper characteristics. Structural analysis of designed parts, hydraulic and static magnetic analysis were performed. Manufacturing of a specific part magnetorheological damper part was described – piston. Manufactured prototype damper characteristics were evaluated.
Java Client for 3D Displaing of Medical Image Data
Bireš, Jiří ; Štancl, Vít (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
The thesis considers use of Java language in interactive 3D displaying of medical image data. Main point is to find out advantages of using this language in medical visualisations and find suitable tools for its future usage. At the conclusion it evaluates advantages and disadvantages of used technologies and suggests possible development of the appliacation
Design of magnetorheological clutch.
Nováček, Vladislav ; Dočkal, Aleš (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of the magnetorheological (MR) clutch. The extensive literature research with particular conclusions to each design variant of MR clutches or brakes has been done in the first part of the thesis. The second part of the thesis describes the design of the actual MR clutch based on the results of the analytical calculation of the magnetic circuit. Finally, the experiments verifying the function of the key segments of the clutch, and the whole clutch are summarized in the third part of the thesis.
Visualization Tool for a Drone Pilot in Microsoft HoloLens 2
Václavík, Marek ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
Controlling a drone can feel like a difficult task. Numerous different usage possibilities, together with increasing interest there is even bigger need for advanced tools that allow user to control these robots. In many sectors, auto-pilot programs are used that provide a bit of automatization for repetitive tasks.  However, there are many situations that require manual approach of the pilot. Such person needs constant live information about the drone, its position, and surroundings. Due to these dependencies, the pilot requires reliable tool that would allow him to control the drone.      Widely used application use screen to display such information. Pilot is then forced to switch between multiple contexts and must compromise his concentration. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to explore the existing possibility of such application in augmented reality. The goal is to create an environment which would lighten the task of controlling the drone for the pilot. As the device that allows the user to work with augmented reality, this thesis introduces Microsoft Hololens 2. These glasses can display information through the developed application which is needed for controlling a drone. Needed information are displayed directly in real-time while the pilot is also aware of many other data used for completing the tasks. The aim is to reduce the disorientation of the pilot.
Quantification of T1 for Preclinical MRI
Dvořáková, Lenka ; Macíček, Ondřej (referee) ; Jiřík, Radovan (advisor)
T1 mapping of myocardial tissue is important for diagnostics of myocardial fibrosis. Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging of small animals is challenging due to high heart and respiratory rates. Pulse sequences for T1 mapping are proposed in this thesis based on inversion recovery FLASH and Intragate FLASH. The sequence IR FLASH was compared to the reference sequence RARE on a static phantom. Both sequences were applied for measuring the myocardium of a rat. For T1 quantification a software in Matlab was developed. Using this software, T1 maps of rat myocardium were calculated.
Portal Game for Microsoft HoloLens
Bandik, Matej ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
Goal of this work is to create an adaptation of computer game Portal for device Microsoft HoloLens. Required application should be able to demonstrate concept of the game in real environment. Next important requirement was to move interface of whole application to real space. The result is native application for Universal Windows Platform, which converts game mechanics and models of game Portal from computer 2D space to real 3D space. In the main part, user is set to the role of an player of logical puzzles, in which he is using gestures for manipulating with holograms or activation of several mechanics. Second part opens possibility to recreate real space by inserting virtual objects. By their logical layout, user can create different solvable puzzles directly in space, in which he is located. Created application effectively uses augmented reality and possibilities of Microsoft HoloLens device for presentation of main concept of game Portal.
