Mobile robot control system
Bugár, Loránt ; Jílek, Tomáš (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
Bachelors project is fixated for creating a mobile robot with a real time operating system. The robot control system is based on a microcontroller Arduino with ARM Cortex-m3 processor. The practical part is dealing with resolving the client-server communication with the UDP protocol, also with the identification of the engine from measured data’s by the Simulink and subsequently designing the PI regulator from the identificated data’s. In he last part of the work the focus is giving to solving the communication with I2C bus and using sensors like : accelerometer, ultrasonic sensor, infra sensor, light sensor, hall sensor and usage of a robotic arm. An application is created for controlling the robot and for visualisation of sensor readings..
Expansion peripherals for MC9S08LH microcontrollers
Nideev, Adan ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to get acquainted with microcontroller MC9S08LH64 and development board TWR-S08LH64. The thesis is also focused on connecting of external peripherals such as rotary encoder, matrix keyboard, LCD display and real-time clock to development board TWR-S08LH64.
Control and Diagnostic System for I2C Bus
Juhás, Miloš ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
The objective of this diploma thesis is design and realization of I2C bus analyzer. I2C bus protocol is briefly described, together with means of connecting devices to the bus. Next the basic requirements for I2C bus analyzer are defined. Then the design of hardware I2C-to-USB converter including block description is proposed. The chapter dedicated to converter firmware describes method of communication with PC, decoding of intercepted commands and principles of master, slave and passive mode of bus monitoring. The last part is focused on operation software and its structure. Described are individual interfaces, most notable classes and default plugin modules.
Laboratory assignment for HCS 08 microcontrollers
Bilík, Jan ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of my bachelor thesis is getting acquainted with serial buses I2C, SPI and 1-Wire and their implementation in communication between microcontroller NXP MC9S08LH64, temperature sensor, real-time clock circuit and shift register. The thesis also focuses on hardware connection with necessary circuits and behaviour of software functions used during data exchange.
Design of control module for bus air-condition
Melichárek, Lukáš ; Šandera, Josef (referee) ; Rákoci, Matúš (advisor)
This graduation theses is focus on hardware and software description for control module, which is part of air-condition unit made be company THERMO KING. All circuit connected thought buses like IIC,CAN and display are explain in detail.
Connecting external devices with Freescale MC9S08LH64 microcontroller by IIC and SPI bus
Pamánek, David ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The content of this thesis is to introduce the SPI and IIC serial buses, their properties and description of their function. After this part there is the description of the microcontroller Freescale MC9S08LH. It gives the basic description of whole device and more detailed description of SPI and IIC modules. In the next part of the document there is described four external devices, which I have chosen. For each device there is shown connetion diagram and printed circuit board. In the end of this document is description of libraries created for communication between chosen devices and microcontroller.
Autopilot of RC Plane
Denk, Filip ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Mrázek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This thesis is focused on stabilization of the radio-controlled aircraft model. The aim is to create a system that could controll the direction of flight (without pilot intervention) itself. This system also includes determination of the aircraft’s position using a 3-axis gyroscope. The Arduino Uno microcontroller was used as a controll unit.
SD Card Reader Based on HC(S)08
Hřib, Dalibor ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to design and programme the SD card reader using the Freescale HCS08 microcontroler, namely MC9S08SH32. A part of this thesis is a design and making of a printed circuit board for the card reader and an operating software written in the C language. The software is able to use the FAT16 and FAT32 file systems for reading the directories and for reading and writing files of unlimited length. The card reader has RS232 and IIC interfaces and one free port for connecting to the card reader and other device, for example personal computer.
