Motivation and Remuneration of Employees in the Selected Company

This diploma thesis on Motivation and remuneration of employees in a selected company focuses on a given topic in the joint stock company. In the theoretical part of the thesis, literary research is carried out for the given topics, which lead to the processing of the analytical part of the work. In the next part of the thesis, the company on which the work focuses is presented, its procedures, methods of remuneration and motivation are discussed. Based on the questionnaire investigation, the current situation in the company is analysed from the perspective of the employee, the system of remuneration and motivation. Based on the research, proposals and measures are set out for greater employee satisfaction, appropriate reward system and a higher motivation for employees.
Complete implementation of pulse oximeter

This thesis deals with the design of a pulse oximeter. The resulting device allows to measure human blood oxygen saturation and heart rate in a non-invasive way. Easy portability is enabled by battery power supply and the used colour graphical display ensures clear display of the measured data. The paper describes in general terms the principle of pulse oximetry, a description of the chosen electronic components and the firmware developed to ensure the device's operation. Verification of correct operation was performed by comparing the measurements with similar devices available on the market.
Human Resource Management in a chosen organization

The master thesis is focused on the issue of human resources management within a selected organization. The aim of the master thesis are proposals leading to the improvement of the human resources management system in the selected organization based on a proven analysis of the selected organization. The research is carried out through a questionnaire survey, interviews with members of the personnel department and examination of internal data. The master thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with research that requires human resource management. The practical part focuses on the characteristics of the selected company, analysis of personnel activities, analysis of employee satisfaction with human resource management and the last part of the work presents proposals and recommendations to improve the current situation.
Intercompany mentoring

The diploma thesis is dedicated to the intercompany mentoring issue, its thorough description and specific practical application in the company. The objectives are to define the intercompany mentoring as a new form of corporate learning, to analyze it in detail and to assess its benefits to the certain company. Its strengths / weaknesses and the possible opportunities and threats are found in the theoretical part via SWOT analysis. The assessment of intercompany mentoring is based on the interviews with mentors, mentees and last but not least with mentees' superiors. These semi-structured interviews are focused on finding of the strengths / weaknesses and the opportunities or threats. It means that the SWOT analysis is used also in the practical part of the thesis. The output of the thesis is the final resume and my personal improvement proposals. The results of the thesis can help those companies that are looking for new ways to develop their employees or which are hesitating to participate in the intercompany mentoring. Application For Heart Rate Estimation Using Smartphone

This work deals with estimation of the human heart rate (HR) using a mobile phone camera. The goal was to create a functional application for a smartphone with a real-time HR detection. A preliminary functional algorithm was tested on a sample of 10 independent subjects and a mean deviation of 8.3 beats per minute (BPM), relative to an ECG reference record, was reached. Considering only visibly calm subjects, the mean deviation was 1.5 BPM.

The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is a proposal how to improve the process of recruiting new employees in the field of IT in the personnel agency RTSG, s.r.o. The bachelor thesis consists of theoretical, analytical and proposal part. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the concepts in the field of human resources and also the basic concepts in the field of IT. The analytical part contains information about the company and its operation. A questionnaire survey was used for data collection, on the basis of which specific recommendations were proposed, which should improve the recruitment process.

PPG signal quality assessment and heart rate estimation

This work deals with photoplethysmographic (PPG) signals, their processing, quality assessment, estimation of heart rate from PPG signals and the ability to record biological signals with smartphones. The aim of this work is to record PPG signals using a smartphone and reference ECG signals using an ECG recorder. The work also includes the design of two algorithms, one for signal quality assessment and the other for heart rate estimation from PPG signals.

Using the questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews, the attitude of recruiters to recruiting new employees through social networks, decision-making based on social network information, and employee control through these net-works was investigated. The thesis also examined which social networks are given the greatest weight and what information the HR officers are looking for.

In the next part is introducion of company and described their procedures, metods for remuneration and motivation. The thesis have own questionnaire survey to analyze the current situation in the company from the perspective of employees, reward system, motivation, education or conditions in a workplace. Then it subseyuentely suggests possible steps included bigger welfare of workers, better reward system and higher motivations of workers.
